  1. word. mine's an 86 and its never been rebuilt. it still starts cold on a winter day and runs pretty ok. anyone want to buy it for a restoration project.
  2. ditch the boost bottle. save up for a full-on drag port. then rape every one.
  3. how come you guys are always gettin burned? i ride in shorts 75% of the time and have never been burned. maybe its cause i have stock pipes. do you all just sit way up on the tank or what?
  4. make sure that your slides are in correctly, thats what was wrong with mine.
  5. HOLY SHIT, a $25 dollar override! sign me up!
  6. id remove tors just to save some headache and some weight, but have you tried swapping stators?
  7. if you cant see a spark hold onto the electrode of the plug and it will magically send a signal to your brain that, yes there is spark.
  8. yes, do it, peer pressure! but seriously thats some good stuff. maybe a cool head too if youre into the high compression thing.

im not actually making a race here, it was a daydream during english class one day. but i thought id do it with topless dancers
  11. no, i went to the lake for like a week and left it at home. but hopefully since im off tomorrow ill tear down the head and see whats up.
  12. i think they view it as the money going to kill the offense rather than paying for more defense. or is that just me?
  13. once i peeled back the retainer thingy on mine i just pulled it off by hand. are you supposed to get those tight? ive always hand tightened mine then cinched it down with that metal plate that goes behind it.
  14. cause we know he aint gettin any elsewhere
  15. when i did my top end i had to pound the hell out of the wrist pins to get them out, yes the circlips were remoived. an 11mm deepset socket worked the best. but if youre gonna go the pounding routine make sure you hold onto the rod so that the sideloads dont warp something .
  16. you guys are good, started at noon

  18. hes got a couple of K&N stickers so that his jugs flow better, plus the hella lights. so you gotta figure that stuff into your jetting
  19. someone has some built up rage inside
  20. its my coil! where can i get one cheap. does MSD do anything for ATV's cause their stuff for cars is wicked
  21. Now that, I understand. I have to go out there at like 10 at night if I have to work on something, to f'ing hot during the day. i hate getting up early with a passion, but i will do it to ride and hunt and fish, that's about it. its really pretty funny cause all this week is was hotter than hell when i had to put some parts on my truck so i could go to the lake this weekend. but now guess what. its 72 friggin degrees. and i havent got a damn thing to install, clean, tweak, adjust, or polish on any of my toys.
  22. diesel works damn good too. it's a very stable fuel (hence the 18:1 compression ratio's) and hard to set fire to after its been sitting out more than an hour or so. and it smells so damn good hey led would you be interested in gettin rid of them clamp-ons? PM me if you are
  23. fro lets see this golf cart, cuase im in love with those things. i would so love to port mine and but some kings with piggybacks on it but money is the prob. and how did you do your exhaust for the HD, and did it help any?
  24. youre thinkin of a long rod and hes talkin about a stroker. you cant use 795's on a stroker cause it would be all f'ed up. you have to use the spacer or a rechambered head because the crank has a longer throw and that puts the piston further up in the cylinder. a longrod is a stock from crank that has longer rods and utilizes a piston with higher wrist pin placement to reduce sideloading on the piston skirts. doesnt really help with your spacer question but damn sure dont put 795 series pistons on stock rods.
