  1. its simple, split the case, pull the seal, put the new one on and put the case back together. splitting the case for the first time is intimidating though. just take your time and read your clymers on how to do it. other than that i dont know what to tell ya.
  2. guys i need some opinions. im needin a new ride to go to college in. first off my shee is broken and my truck is old but it in good cond and i like it. but i took my moms '04 yukon to the lake this weekend and i LOVED it. and i got a new job with more hours, read more money. if i sell the shee and save some cash i'll have the down payment i need to pick up say a '00 denali, a very sweet rig. so what should i do. i love my shee and life will be dif w/o it. but i dont want to get a truck halfass style thats not how i want it and be stuck with it. so if i decide on the new rig it will be loaded, not new but loaded. opinions please
  3. how much travel do you gain, if any, when you go with the +4?
  4. yours and a bombardier, any of them. like wtf, dont their engineeers have any sense of style?
  5. welcome dude. tell us a little about your shee. and i think im goin pro with this post. woo hoo
  6. yeah you can get unported jugs with the cheetah setup. its an option, and it cheaper.
  7. thats a damn good one there. might be usin that one in the future.
  8. uuuuuh.... No. 4" of complete suspension (shocks, 3.5" springs, .5" shackles). I had to get .5" shackles because std. length shackles will rub on the military wrap springs, and they're close with the .5" length. I hate lifted Jeeps with big long ass shackles, and it's so unsafe, and I also don't like body lifts for my personal preference. I hated to have to use .5", I'd rather have that in the spring, but oh well. Only thing that's stock on the suspension is the tie rod, drag link and front sway-bar. Got a new "telescoping" trac bar that works really well. I pulled the rear trac bar and rear sway bar (don't even know why they have them ), rides better without them. Also, the tires are 33". why havent you done a spring-over conversion. i think those are worth 3-4". then you could have 35's but that may cause axle problems, as well as the need for gears.
  9. cool, so exlpain it. i HATE rattles like that.
  10. i mean fill in holes with weld, cut off all the unnecessary brackets, then grind it smooth. it takes a while so dont do it if you have a deadline but it looks sick as hell
  11. i second that. its seems cool as hell. but where can you put billet on dive gear?
  12. When i stand mine up all I do is put it in 1st and stand it up, no probs. I have never found a use for the e-brake. When I got my banshee I attempted to use the parking brake. If i had it adjusted to the point where it would actually hold the bike somewhere, the rear brake was adjusted too tight and would drag. So I used it a total of 0 times. I don't know why the hell they even bother. cause some dumbass forgot to put a quad in neutral sometime and hurt something and they sued yamaha or someone else. all that stupid little shit happens because of people who wont take responsibilty for their actions.
  13. so you gonna shave the frame before it getts PC'ed.
  14. Theres some stations in town but the highest octane is 91 you can get race gas at the oasis for $5 a gallon, but i dont know if its 100 or 110? anyone know?
  15. those are badass. wherd you get em and what kinda phone are they on?
  16. was it insured? hel, at least it wasnt your stroker, or even the cr-shee
  17. pictures are needed def. ive got a good imagination but im still not puttin all of this together.
  18. no shit man, i really hope you get it back. theres a lot of money tied up there between the scag and millermatic.
  19. one time i didnt have the cable into the pull arm on top of the case correctly and it came off. then lever went limp and had no clutch action. so look around where the cable meets the arm just below the left carb.
  20. hes right. there has been more than one time that ive had to build my own tools to work on shit. just keep lookin around your shop until you find something that looks like it may work, then mod it so that it does.
  21. you are very correct about that bigairee. but vettes are cooler. and much lighter. but the 5.0's do have a much better sound. and i may be wrong but i think the LS-1's in the vettes are 16 valve. imagine what they could do with 32. plus there is no replacement for displacement. so if u wanna go into heavy tuning look at lingenfelter, then tell me the mustang is better.
  22. Kill yourself. is that a clever attempt at letting us know that you are in fact still in the closet?
