get some new sprockets, 15-41 maybe? then compare the old sprocket to the new one and see the difference. if you dont think the old one is worn so bad but the new stuff on the shelf till its time. not like they are gonna go stale so just put 'em on when you get the time. but if you get new sprockets get a NEW chain to match. get a good, not cheapo special, o or x ring chain and keep it well lubed.

cej - i too have though of that before and he is the solution i came up with. cut that shitty filter out. pull your petcock from the tank then cut the mircoscreen filter system off. this doesnt really help my fuel flow cause ive got stock carbs. but maybe if you had some 33's? anyways just make sure to put in a 99cent jobbie from RMATV, you know the conically shaped in-line filters.

no need for apologies, ive written a novel on here before. i run delta v-force 2's. possibly the best reeds on the market though they arent cheap. try getting your factory cages ported and get some carbon reeds that fit those cages. thats what id do.

im starting to feel the same way. all my shit blew at the same time. if i replace it all with new components ill have a new motor except the clutch. not sure what ill do yet though. time will tell, coupled with the wallet.
