  1. Since the problem is between 1/4 and 3/4 throttle, your needle clip position may be rich.
  2. Thick white smoke.Good chance its your headgasket. Is the radiator fluid low?
  3. How are your plugs?Sounds like you may be lean.Did the weather change? You might need to adjust your pilot/airscrew some.
  4. Yes they do make 1/2 links. What you might wanna do is use the half link until the chain stretches then take it off.
  5. An elephant asked a camel,"why are your tits on your back"?? The camel said "that's a strange question from a muthafucka with a dick on his face".
  6. Did the temp change in N.Y.C if so you might need to run a different spark plug.If the plugs are on to tight it can cause overheating. Also, their could be an engine air leak which would cause overheating to.Hope this helps..
  7. John already answered the question or as you call it a stupid comment.Maybe I cant express my self to the fullest when typing and it came off cocky, but the truth is, thats the first time I ever heard of someone using a 44 sprocket on asphalt.I learned something new.All I did was ask you if realisticly that would work cuz in south florida no one runs those type gears to my knowledge. If anything down here they use the honda set up just to be able to run less in the rear.Thats all...
  8. Thanks for clearing that up NYUK,cuz I never heard of anyone running a 44 on asphalt.
  9. Whats the valid point, that it isnt worth it?"not worth it I know" Please show me the stupid comment or where I act like I know everything. I asked why would anyone wold run a 44 rear on asphalt?Your answer was because"maybe thats what works best"Well thanks for keeping it simple bigboy.
  10. I agreed with you dajogejr,16/44 arent the type of gears an asphalt drag shee would have. Let me take this chance to thank you for the swingarm pivot bolt mod.Its great. Sorry for jacking the thread.13turbo.With the new swingarm and gears shees gonna be a fun bike. rock mountain atv has the chain breaker for like 12 bucks.
  11. Your joking wright? Please expain to me how 16/44 is even a realistic asphalt drag bike gear set up.
  12. RMATV is the truth.Im expecting a knock on my door this Wensday.. I think they sponser this site. Two thumbs up
  13. hahahaha,I just read this and almost fell out of my chair I laughed so hard lol. Just one question, what kind of stickers does the bike have ?? cuz whatever they are, they should be listed with the rest of the POWER MODS that asphalt drag bike has. What you want to do,is what bansh-eman said and go 14/41 on the gears. With those power mods and stock gears shees gonna rip&grip ten times harder then before[when shee had the extended swinger and slicks]. LOL
  14. I agree,16/44 why would anyone run a 44 rear?
  15. 35mm is fine.I would invest in some pipes like CPIs. 210 compression wow
  16. #1 The banshee is almost always a bitch to get in neutral. Most people modify the shift star for smoother shifting and it makes it easier to get neutral. #2 Dont know about a 50w.I run bel ray 80w.
  17. Maybe one of the wires is rubbing on the flywheel.Did you fasten those wires to the back of the timing plate? If so you might want to clean the connections.
