  1. Friendly competition is what makes climbing so much fun. It is hard to find individuals at the level of the Banshee crew that ride in the Pa coal region to play with. If any out of towners are making the trip, they will not not be disappointed. I have climbed with this group on a two wheeler and it was a privilege to have been included in their group rides. Don PS. I will take no prisoners if anyone wants to join us on two wheels. Ha Ha
  2. I thought I would post a video of a fellow climber on this hill. He claims to be the best Two Wheel Climber in the area. I hope you enjoy, Don PS Stop the video at 4:03 to see the steepness of this hill.
  3. Ouch, that hurts. Age is just a number. I can still ride with the wind. Don
  4. The first individual that had the bells to try this hill since I conquered it in the spring. He wins a Dinner and cold one for his bravery. Sure would like to see someone else give it a try. If a 56 year old man can make it, some young studs should be able to. Don
  5. Thanks Matt, I hope to see your crazy group this year. Don
  6. I just had to prove to myself I could make it on a Knobby. It was not as tractable as the Paddle Tire run. It took two attempts. Enjoy, Don
  7. The hill I am posting below is only five minutes from my home. I have been looking at this hill for several years. All the local guys I ride with have been telling me that their is no way a motorcycle is going to make that hill. This group is a very experienced bunch of riders, Expert level. I took that as a challenge. I know it is a lengthy video for only five seconds of riding, but the little boy did such a good job, I had to show him having a good time. Don
  8. The results say if you are older then 55, you are worm food. That hurts my feelings. I have yet to be out climbed by any age and I am 55. Don
  9. Hello stranger, I have been going through some real rough times. I was away for the weekend and when I came home my wife moved out, OUCH. I will never hook up with a woman with mental health issues again. [ Bipolar ] Sorry to dump on you. I enjoy climbing with your group. Please let me know when I can come along. It would do me good to play on the hills. The Guru is still riding, I just have not hooked up with him this year. I will get him on this sight. He's always good for a laugh. Thank You, Don The Z50Guru in action, Enjoy
  10. That hill has only been climbed by two riders. There is a very small window at the beginning of the wall at the top. If you are off by a few inches it will kick your bike to the side. I had plenty of speed but was a little off at my entry to the wall. I rarely through a bike like that, it caught me off guard when the back end jumped to the side. At that point I knew I was screwed and threw the bike over the top. Check these videos of two individuals trying this hill. Don Video of me going over the top.
  11. YES,I defiantly want to ride with you crazy guys in the fall. I will contact you when the weather cools down. Too hot on those Coal Hills for me. I am heading to Clearfield to ride this weekend. Don
  12. My latest Video, I hope you enjoy. Don
  13. Too hot for me. Was up a few weeks ago, was over 90 by lunch. I will be up when this heat wave breaks. Planning a group camp, ride in Sep. Will post here when I have date. Don
  14. Hello stranger, Can I come along sometime ? It looks like fun. Don

  18. A former student of mine is in need of a set of stock cyl's. He was a very good student, but has no money. I will paypal for a good set. Thank You, Don
  19. That would be great. I would like to do some filming this time on the hills. We did not get much footage last ride. See you friday. Don
  20. Heading to Trevorton on 6/11, 12, 13. Give a shout if you are planning on joining me. Don
  21. Damn Jarred, you were climbing some hills. The gearing change helped. Next trip we need to concentrate on documenting our ride with video. We were having to much fun to stop and film. I have to admit those long swing arm bikes were doing real good. I wish I was fresh when they showed up. I was already worn out from hitting the trails. Don
  22. Hellooooo Denny, Sorry you can not make it this weekend. The hills will be very difficult on a two wheeler. When it is dry, you can slice through the coal much easier. A four wheeler can ride on top with their large tire surface area. Don
  23. Rain Rain go away. I will be their at 10 AM on Fri. Although I no longer ride in the rain, I am sure it will not rain all day. Look for the Fun Mover Motor home, I park close to the Big coal hill at the edge of town. Don
  24. Lots of rain through the week, at least it won't be dusty. Don
  25. Evinrude is still 100% Two Stroke. http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/Engines I predict the Two Stroke will be used in more platforms in the future for many reasons. Don
