  1. Hehe.. I run Amsoil in the shee, R, and 900RR now. The S-10 just sticks to Mobile 1 though.. its got 137,000 on it and still running like a champ (knock on wood) but don't think it'll notice a difference running something as elegant as Amsoil instead of Mobile 1 through it at this point. It had dino up through the 100,000 mark anyway.
  2. Hehe alright.. its like the 14th row. Not too bad for floor seats though. Time Haters WAS funny. The Rick James stuff and Prince stuff was just downright funny. Saw the "best of season 2" episode last week I believe... still laughing at the thing with Prince playing basketball.
  3. I've seen a limited amount of Chappelle's Show... but some of his sketches are funny as hell. It helps that he isn't making racial stereotypes about just one race in particular -- everybody gets ripped on! Anyway... my gf just got us tickets to go see him on Sept 10th. We got some pretty darn good floor seats, so this ought to be a good time. I'm stoked!
  4. I just have the generic "Amsoil 2-cycle oil". It actually says injector but on the back says "premix suitable also at 50:1". I mix around 42:1 with it. Been riding/thrashing on it for a few months now and no problems. Great stuff. Actually mixing a little too heavy I think, but better that than the other possibility. Its the stuff on the left... http://www.amsoil.com/products/aio.html
  5. Hopefully nobody finds offense to it... But if they do, I live in the North and we wooped some a.... j/k it wasn't America's finest hour but we survived, and our country is in one piece and stronger than ever.
  6. well you can probably figure out the nate part in mine.. for some reason "nater" was easier to say for my college buddies when they were intoxicated, and the 006.. no idea. Has just always been on my names. Ironically, 006 is the traitor in GoldenEye, though.
  7. nickxc, yamabond is meant to stay pliable and I don't think it'll hold too much pressure. But, if you're looking for a cheap out, that might be it. The stuff is like flexible plastic though. If the head is just barely warped, it might provide enough hold to work fine. But you'll prolly have to try it to find out.. BTW, i have a stock head left over from mine. Its in good shape. Dunno what they sell for but if you decide to replace yours with another stocker, lemme know.
  8. How much did you already have it shaved down? Apparently if you go further than .030 you'll have to have the squish re-cut, which could end up costing more and not being as effective as investing in a Noss head or Cool Head.
  9. Boonman, thanks for the detailed response! Planning to do it in about a year. Might just stick to a regular welder for non-alum stuff for now then. thanks for the recommendations!
  10. Nobody can say you didn't describe stuff accurately.. "Yamaha Banshee Hideous Front Bumper"
  11. I had a bent fork in my 250R when I got it... shifter did the same thing as you mentioned. Hopefully its just the spring or something that is dorked up though..
  12. For overall welding (especially for a slight beginner), what would you recommend? Within a year or so I'd like to get my own. Too many projects/toys to not have one. My dad has a wirefeed one with a big tank of Stargon, pretty sure. Would like something to do just light to medium stuff overall, and with the capability to weld aluminum if possible.
  13. A little treat for all you 80s or Queen music fans... its 63MB but should stream fine if you want to just start it going in Media Player or whatever... Click me, home slice
  14. Um... Celine Dion (sorry Holyman! ) Michael Bolton Mariah Carey Jewel Elton John errrrr i mean...!! Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth... yeah
  15. That could very well be. Actually went in there after the 4 ton one but they only had the 3 1/2s in stock, and only one left at that. Definitely something wrong with it, like a bad seal or something. Just have to say that I love the feature that raises the jack to the vehicle (or whatever) in just one pump. Its spiffy.
  16. Well you asked in the Banshee HQ so... you'll probably know what to expect. They're both fast. I'd say it depends on the type of riding you're doing, or what you expect to get out of it. You can get some extreme engines built for the shee. If you're looking for just something to play around on, the 450 might be a better bet. But, if you want to go really darn fast, modify excessively, etc... the shee is untoppable! BTW, welcome to the HQ!
  17. What all do you have your wireless SSIDs set to? What naming conventions do you use for your PCs/Macs? For those that aren't familier... the SSID the name of your wireless network if you have one set up. It might just be "Netgear" or "Linksys" if you haven't changed it... and your computer name.. well, that's just what it sounds like. Our work has done the LOTR theme for servers, and other places in the U have things like the Simpsons and similar. My SSID is SKYNET. If you haven't seen the terminator, then don't worry about it. Computer names are video games, still a couple Greek Gods floating around though but looking for new ideas.. hence the thread.. Just curious to see what creativeness runs through some of the geeks..
  18. Love my Verizon service! Got an [older] Motorola V60C. Except for not having a super great signal, its a good phone though. The gf's i730/i720 gets a better signal, and works really well. Not too much an Audiovox fan. Kyocera makes good phones too. like Motorola though.. anyway my Verizon wirless service has been next to flawless.
  19. Thanks boon... I tried *everything* last night with it and it just doesn't work. It'll do the "one pump to lift" deal.. and i can stand on it and SQUISHHHHHHHHHh it goes right back down. Bad seals or something. Its going back tomorrow after work. Thanks a ton for the advice!
  20. Ah, point taken. Was looking towards the Nac's one, though they're sold out on their online store. But, thanks for the advice.. will get something designed for ATV tires.
  21. Yup, what the above said. Download all the latest stuff (definitions, etc) and boot into safe mode (f8 during bootup). From there, you should be able to completely scan and eliminate almost anything. The Stinger util that Led linked to is really good, also, if you don't have a virusscan piece of software installed. Also, if you know exactly what worms/trojans/etc they are... such as Sasser.. you can get specific tools for each if one or more is giving you trouble. I think Mickeysoft came out with a Sasser removal tool. Don't forget to patch your system after cleaning 'em out or you'll have to do it again..
  22. Sweet, thanks for the info. Actually, I found what I was looking for on northern tool also.. http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/sto...ategoryId=78106 I'll probably get either that Nac's deal or the above, along with a tire spoon or something like that.
