  1. Dang man.. that sucks that yer having trouble. You should shoot that guy though.. there's definitely no middle seal! That guy is a cracker... sounds like he wants to split the cases for fun and a little cash.
  2. banshee370 -- I can temporarily throw the java interface up in my web space again where we tested it, and even an IP (redirected, i don't mind giving any of my work ones out) for the hostname to get 'er up and running until you get control of your stuff there. The proper DNS can always come later
  3. boonman, forgot to tell you... got mine replaced and damn... love it. they were out of the 3 1/2 ton ones but the 4 ton one was on sale in their Craftsman flyer for the craftsman club members or whatever, so I got that for almost the exact same price (would have been if i didn't get the 3 1/2 ton on clearance). Its not lightweight but man its great... just popped each side of my S10 off the ground yesterday to rotate the tires.. soooo easy! I like the quick-disconnect handle a bit better than the bolts through my 3.5 ton lemon and the small magnetic tray for nuts and bolts is fun too
  4. I just got one of the multi-socket sets for SAE, and one for Metric. Craftsman stuff. just got done rotating the tires on my S10 and the gf's Grand Am.. the 3/4" socket is going to bite it before any of the others, guaranteed But yeah.. unless you're working on just mini crap, get a 3/8" set. Good for pretty much whatever.
  5. Yeah, but the spelling is too good.
  6. There are only two seals on the crank -- one on the left, one on the right. You'll have to crack the cases to get those seals replaced, but thats about it.
  7. yeah homie, i was just in one < 1 month ago. 2nd best man.. anyway. being an usher is easy. just ask if they are on the bride's site or groom's side, and enjoy any hotties you get to seat. And, when you're standing up front, DON'T LOCK YOUR KNEES! it won't be long and you'll faint..hehehe. just a couple tips for the wise! broke -- coulda been worse, man the pastor held out his hand with the rings to my buddy and said "pick the ring you have chosen for so-and-so" and he accidently took the wrong one. hehehehehe
  8. haha... good call. I have a separate checking acct for PayPal, just in case.
  9. What year is it, first off? They did change a bit... I think some of the older ones were air cooled also.
  10. You basically pop the blow nozzle on the AC hose and put it in the hole in the end of the grip (make sure its partially on the bar already). Blow air in and they slide right on because they expand.
  11. Yah.. I change mine every other ride at the latest. It does a good job. I just get whatever type F the local places carry... its usually Castrol or Quaker State. Nothing super special but it works fine
  12. Well said... I pray for good judgement and safety every time I throw a leg over mine, before even hitting the starter. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, man..
  13. Just a side note.. its because of that exact reason that Michigan won't let you street legalize an ATV. The Secretary of State website lists it as because it has a live axle (instead of a differential) and thus will never turn safely on pavement. Sucks.. gotta know what ur doing!
  14. Good moral to the story... make sure you know what you're jumping over our riding area near my parents place (pre-college residence).. its great and has lots of huge jumps. There's a big table-top in one section with a very large downslope on the other side. My friend didn't ride it first (I won't jump unless I look first) and landed his YZ250 in a washout on the down slope and flippy flippy flippy.
  15. Damn i read the topic and expected it to be a pic of some flossed out Weber charcoal deal. Can tell where my mind is at 7:45AM... FOOD!
  16. It might be the difference in sagging stockers and newer Works springs.. You can... jack that side off the ground and unbolt the upper a-arm from the spindle. The lower, with wheel, brake, etc, should swing down far enough to bolt the shock in. Then lower the shee slowly (hold the wheel straight up as you do this) and the weight of it should push the lower a-arm up enough to attach the upper back into the spindle.
  17. ATF type F in mine.. works great! That full synthetic stuff.. just watch out for it. I'd heard a while ago that if it has friction modifiers in it it can cause your clutch to slip easier. Though I'm running synthetic Amsoil 10w30 (I think..hehe) in my modded CBR900RR and never had the clutch slip on it so... don't know how much truth there is to it.
  18. Werd... first i've *ever* seen that. Oh well. Guess I have a CBR900RR, Banshee, and 250R with a bunch of eaten seals..
  19. I didn't spend the $$$ on one because the rod that pulls the clutch lever looked really puny. Just heard some stuff about 'em breaking and bending easy and didn't want to fork out the big bucks for the billet cyl setup. But... if they're working well for people.. great!
  20. I got a set of CEJ's billet hangers. They are pimp. Real nice, wayyy better than those rubber damper things. One of mine was already drilled with a bolt through it and the other was falling apart.. needless to say, I'm happy with the new ones!
  21. I have the pro-flow intake adapter thingy and a K&N w/ no airbox top with my T5s and it SCREAMS.
  22. I've got the triples and they work well.. i've beat on 'em a bit and landed pretty hard and they keep coming back for more. don't mind the dirtyness of the quad.. its cleaner now I ride orchards (probably like your pastures) and some bumpy trails and washed out 2-tracks and these are really good. A lil stiff if anything but they work great.
  23. Snowmobile -- 110 Motorcycle -- 135ish (modded CBR900RR). You folks in Michigan probably know of the longggg straightaway (like, 7 miles) on I-96 in the Ionia area (exit 67). hehe.. Car -- no idea, but the limiter in my S10 randomly cuts fuel or spark before hitting 100mph
