Pic of pin on the swingarm that holds the brake stay and prevents it from spinning round and round.... Like hopped up said.... There is slop there and you probly need the bushing.
If you get me dimensions I can machine you a bushing to your specifications and we can get it tightened up...
I would just run it for now, ain't gonna hurt anything being a bit sloppy. That what I tell my wife on the weekends too.
I have done it, broke retention clip, used RTV and have been fine.
For the price, buy a used one from eBay. I have never had a bad coil in 15 years of fiddling with these machines.
1. Swap CDI with known working unit.
2. Ohm stator
3. Set pickup gap
4. Make sure ground wire (in the back near CDI and voltage regulator) has a clean, bare metal surface that it is secured to.
5. Order a new harness from us to rule out all the BS.

Ditch the stock carbs for some 28pwks. You use proper torque and gaskets while assembling this thing? If you did it right and took your time I doubt air leak. Pickup coil you sure is ok? I can get you a new one. I wadded mine up last year and caused my bike to run on one cyl.

These RB fenders are light!
Seem to be lighter than my fast fibers from a few years ago... And have to be lighter than stock for sure!
They fit like a glove and super easy to install. 4 quick bolts and the front is off... Granted you have to remove the bar clamp and turn bars 90 degrees but it's no big deal.
Been running fiberglass since 2009 and have had great luck with them and they are kinda close to the OEM lines which is the only plastic to run IMO
