  1. Ok, note where the pencil is. This is where the stock lever "cuts" into the cover- my cover is damaged from it pretty good - not good My lever hits further underneath, perfect with the radius of the cover, where it will not cause damage. Other than pivoting the spring retainer, which would reduce the amount of pull-back, simply "adding a radius" to the arm will not work.... It's going to keep pulling back until it hits, because of the spring pressure. I like this as it is for my bike It clears happily here by the foot peg Details on the stock lever damage versus mine
  2. All of this is probly a waste of time. Nobody gonna buy these at what I'll have to charge. $60 shipped. At BEST
  3. Well, I can add a dead stop or something.... Yea that should work. At least the pedal location is way better... I'll keep working
  4. Stock versus my brake lever. Will take some adjusting not to smack cover on spring return. The hitting of cover does not bother me really.. This lever gives much easier foot stomping access and I see this being a benefit for anyone riding hard with a lockup cover.
  5. SLP does not fall short. Dont let the dyno graph fool you. You just have to gear properly. They kick ass cant wait to install my set on this 4mil FAST serval. $540 shipped and they are in stock FTW http://www.jdscustoms.com/product/slp-yamaha-banshee-pipes/ use "save5" code when you checkout to save another 5%
  6. right.... Well, ok. I will need 6-8 budweisers first. Stay tuned....
  7. It will be fine. You can tilt this forward in the current design and move the light bar away from the shroud if you wish. Think about the air that will rush underneath the bar and be forced into the radiator This will not affect your cooling whatsoever. These fenders however do trap heat a bit.... May add some louvers if I can figure out a way to make it look right

  13. Yea, its $275 so not a big deal. Ima stick with the local shop suggestion for now and see how she goes. I will not be stomping on this thing, that's what I have the old chevy for. (thats what I say now, with a choked down stock truck lol) Ohh, and yea I wanna take it easy on the tranny.
  14. I'm not getting the "5 tune" selector.... One tune only, for what I use the truck for. I can add more later if I feel the need. This is a mild tune geared toward daily driving and fuel economy. Turbo back 4" AFE with muffler, sinister EGR and cooler delete, mild EFI live tune. $1500 OTD installed, I'm all about it!
  15. Looking forward to the power. Guy said with the amount of soot in just 80k miles in probly 100hp less than stock... Plus the mild 60hp tune it should be a completely different truck.
  16. Being that my truck is never gonna haul anything significant I'm not too concerned... All of the "shanty draggers" here in elkhart run cummins hundreds of thousands of miles... It's all you see around here.... Shop recently had a 700,000 mile 6.7... Deleted at 120k... Yes she was tired but running.
  17. Thanks man the fit is about perfect. Happy with it
