I picked up a 2004 YZF600R Thundercat last spring and love it. Plenty of power, low Ins. looks good and it has a thicker seat than the rest of the crochrockets. This is my first and only street bike but it felt the most comfortable out of all I sat on . And it seems like anyone with half a brain would not recomend anything larger than a 600 for an 18 year old, hell even a 600 will get you in over your head before you know it My Ins. is $300.00 a year

Ya your right ill keep visiting how the hell could i stop, I started missing my shee the minute i thought about trading her! Ill get another one but it sure is hell wont be new this time.I dint know they were so easy to work on and had so few moving parts. I do think i got a decent amount on the trade, they gave me $4k what do you guys think? I was going to sell it on my own but they gave my what i though i would sell it for.Shee was all stock other than the NOSS head. The R6 is SWEET but when i was talking to the dealer and searching on the net everyone seems to agree that the 600R is more comfortable than the R6 and I am going to drive at least 60 miles a day just for work.I am not dissapionted with the power at all. They claim it has 98 horse power, all i know is the shee aint got shit on it. I dont think i have ever gone that fast in such a short distance. i couldnt imagine going that fast on a shee. I should not have said trespassers where the main reason for trading the shee it was only one of many i have signs at all the places they enter the property. i have talked to and chased off people many times it didnt make much difference its kids most of the time and i wouldnt mind but i only have 8 acres. it might sound like a lot but its not. if they ride my property i can here it in my house and i dont like to here atv's when i want to sleep.i also dont like people looking at the things i cant fit in the garage,there are too many thieves in the area and iv been ripped plenty so when i come home from work to find people riding around my house i tend to get mad. fence is an option i have considerd but our ground is very rocky and it aint much fun to dig in thanks for the replys and sorry for spelling and grammer but its 1:30am and im about to crash dg

Theres lots of other atvers in my community that ride the same trail down to the creek, I wasn't the first. I taked to everybody within 1/4 mile of my house and the trail and they all said they were cool with my riding and I respectfully put around real slow near the houses. This one is like telling a traffic cop other poeple where speeding too.This mite be true but your still getting a ticket. I just wanted to convey how "busy body" and up in your business some people are. The P.O.A. sent me another letter a couple months before with an actoual picture, taken with a digital camera, of my garbage can in front of my garage, in my concrete driveway, between the 2 garage doors, pasted into the text of the lettter. They informed me that there was a rule that you had to have the garbage can behind the "front line" of the house. Yes I know people suck I bought the house because of the location and the fact that it was a brand new house in the country and not in the city. Do you know what property prices are like in CA. You probably couldn't sell your house in Misouri and buy 1 cars worth of my 3 car carage. sounds like CA. sucks too you should move to mo. As for wrecking property, its green space so nobody actually owns it and the only people I have ever seen use it are atvers because it's too steep to for the lazy asses in my community to hike down the trail to the creek so they all just walk up and down the road in front of the houses on the ridge tops scoping out everyones business. I have never herd of property that nobody owns. somebody has to own the property like the community or gov. it sounds like your the lazy ass that wont go to a legal riding area I thought you said the trails were out of sight? I would still like to know if you would have stoped if they had asked in person?

Go take a look at www.toomey.com they have a dyno chart that say the SST makes way more power than what fmf shows on there chart.They show like 51hp or so on toomeys site. There site claims the new TR-6 is made for a stock motor so i can only guess that the dyno charts are from a stock motor. I hope this helps you more than it did me. It just adds to the confusion in my brain

stock pipes the only upgrade i have is a cool head and i dont think it makes a dif

i bought a K&n power kit on ebay and it came with stage 3 jetting. i think this mite be to much for my almost stock shee.the jetting kit came w/270 and 280 mains and new needles. i am at about 750' with the snorkel removed and 200 mains where should i start with mains and should i use the needles that came w the kit or the stockers? Thanks also i did try the 270 mains and new needles, it ran like a turd
