Fear of the unknown. Doesn't mean sorting out your own fuel injection is easy or cheap. We have seen that over and over and only some are successful. Evan aka The358bansh is one of the few (that I know of) to actually get FI working and working well. It also was not cheap and took a while and he does that type of shit for a living. Again IF this works as well as it is advertised IMO it would be better than having all that extra electrical. Keep it simple.

None of us can verify anything yet from experience but to take a negative attitude on advancing old technologies is the worst attitude to have. It's not that it's too terribly hard to jet but in some instances riding will take you beyond your preset jetting settings, which is why they use the Pike's Peak race as a big selling point. Keep in mind a pair for the banshee right now is roughly double to triple the cost of a new set of Lectron or Keihin carbs. You then have the cost of an assortment of jets, cost of plugs and/or dyno time (Most don't have access to a free dyno as I know some on here do) plus your time, time that could be spent riding. Add on they look awesome, how many people on here spend money simply for billet or aesthetics with no real performance or functional gain? Another thing, if not hyped up, is the higher level of atomization for increasing mileage. There seem to be a lot of positives that would definitely justify the price but it should come down as they bring a cast model into production. If I was them I'd be trying to set up a contract with some of the big manufacturers to help bring back and keep 2 strokes in production. Smart phones also have their place, although 90% of people that have them don't need them, smart cars also. I see where you're coming from and these aren't proven 100% but if nobody gives them a chance we will stay stuck in a rut.

300 FT Sand Track In Texas Hillcountry
Trick2stroke replied to Kendro's topic in Riding and Events Forum
Didn't realize there was a track so close. Not my type of riding but that's good to know if I get into the drag scene.- 8 replies

Pretty awesome concept, seems like they have their shit together. Also love anything billet. High price for a carb but it seems to be much more than that. For something you can drop in like a normal set of carbs without even thinking about tuning or buying jets and have an EFI type of set up without all the extra electrical the price seems justified. I'm favoriting that website and once I get my motor back I may start a fund for these and report back with my extreme displeasure or excitement. Thanks for the link.

Should take any year YFZ. Now the YFZ R model I am not sure about, I don't think they changed the spindles or calipers on that model either, but I can't confirm that. Do a google search and see if you can find the changes between the year models and the YFZ and YFZ R model. Or do an OEM parts look up, if the calipers have the same part number they should be identical across the board.

It's not that uncommon. I take tech calls for apple and this is 90% of the shit I hear when at work. Needless to say this is a very temporary job. What's worse is she will not be convinced when they tell her what's up and will think she got screwed over.

I get the same error in tapatalk on the iPhone. Says to fill out both fields when they both are and will not allow me to log in.

There's still two left. Both are the older style thin, running light. It's the larger brake lights that are running and brake lights. -
Had an iPhone since the first generation, whatever the android does that the iPhone doesn't I don't really need or care to do. Always used an upgrade and sold the old on so I have basically upgraded for free every time. I'll be waiting for my upgrade before I get the 5. iOS 6 is just around the corner also, some pretty cool stuff is being added.

Perhaps the part number for the nerfs used on that frame were for another model but they were from a 250R and that's what I based the description on. Again, I never received an email from you and I received one call that I totally forgot about as I am a busy individual, when you didn't call back I took it you resolved the issue. The parts were sold as is and at a very cheap price. Not like I had anything to gain by deceiving you on the nerfs, I paid more than what you paid for all of that for the shocks alone.

I had full disclosure stating the nerfs were off a 250R with an aftermarket pro-peg frame. "that's fine, I can fab the foot peg mounts.” He got some excellent condition pro-peg ac nerfs, roll design LT mx a arms, 400ex spindles, and TCS LT remote res triple rates in perfect shape for 750 bucks. You can't please some people. On top of that I never received an email, only some muddled voicemail talking about the spindles that I couldn't quite understand. I have been here long enough and sold to enough members to establish that I would never make a dishonest transaction here.

Judging by his replies he would be hiding behind his "piece" as is typical of little man syndrome. Why am I not surprised you posted back after saying you were done? Your word doesn't stand for shit. Maybe it's your lack of understanding of the english language, hooked on ebonics worked for you.

Bump. Updated prices. Make offers. I'm sure someone could use that intake, good set of stock cylinders, cases, the 14" filters. -

2mm's should not create any issues. I have stretched the stock boots on to 30mm carbs as the only air box boots they make that are larger are for 35mm carbs.

I never got the chance to run them, just stashed in the house. I sent them to Cam to be checked out and set up as he cut my trans but after doing so just decided to build a serval. Trying to re-sell to offset my costs a little. -

Hey Evan, Haven't seen you around the forum in a while. Any progress on that custom frame!? It does use the 795 pistons, the stock head is cut to accommodate the added stroke, I do not know the cc of the domes off hand but I do know that when running it ran on pump 93. The power-valves are super smooth and turn easily by hand, really a well maintained set up. When mic'ed with a digital caliper the bore reads 65mm. -
