  1. Looking for some FMF silencers to go with a set of fatties I have. Let me know what you have and asking price. Pictures are also a must. Thanks.
  2. Jeff, one of our site sponsors, does custom seat covers that are of fantastic quality. Check him out. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=132585 This is just my personal opinion but I think bikes look better without graphics.
  3. I think I have a set of stockers laying around that are in decent shape, definitely functional. I'll check if you're interested. I'd let em go for 50 shipped.
  4. Always nice to see good ol familiar names. Tyler actually runs the site now. (Locogato) Sorry to hear you have to get rid of the shee!
  5. What you have to realize is a near 100 hp banshee may sound appealing, however, that is a VERY small portion of what makes a bike functional and worth anything. Granted, upon seeing the larger pics it does appear to have a clean installation but that is also a VERY small part of making that bike worth a shit. All you have accomplished with this so far is adding hp numbers that you can achieve with a 4 mil serval build, only with FAR more weight, unbalanced weight at that, throwing geometry of as well, resulting in not having near the rideability/handling. This banshee lacks the suspension even with the stock weight and geometry to handle more than 50 hp to it's potential, off road. You would have been better off selling the 600 motor and using that money towards actual banshee aftermarket. I don't want you to take offense to this, just trying to give some insight. You will have a hard time selling this bike for much more than 2500 to anyone knowledgeable and we are simply trying to convey why that is so. Of course nothing is set in stone, you may find someone with no sense or better yet, knowledge, and sell it for much more. I wish you luck in selling, if you decide to keep it, please look into getting the weight better balanced and some suspension on there, night and day difference.
  6. I used some old fmf fatties I had laying around. I just cut them either straight across or slightly angled at different points in the bends before the expansion chambers started opening up to much, rotating if needed until I had them clear and fit like I wanted. Ended up not altering the length of the cones to much luckily. I'm sure if I spent more time getting the front end set up like I wanted, maybe some taller seat foam, and taller stem I would have liked it much more, money was a problem and the reason I got rid of it as soon as I did. I may have pics of it in 450 form somewhere but all my build pics were lost on my last laptop (never buy an HP )
  7. Nice, good job on the pipe fitment. I had one of these and ended up not loving it like I thought I would. I suppose I don't like the feel of the yfz as much as the good ol banshee. For me the better route would be something keeping the comfortability of the banshee while creating better geometry, like an outlaw frame or sundahl. Keep the pics coming of your progress.
  8. Great seller! Good prices, fast shipping, good parts, good communication. Everything you look for in a pleasant transaction on the HQ.
  9. Awesome seller, fast shipping, and parts in mint condition. Do not hesitate to buy from him!
  10. I have plans to run a 4-7 mil serval in my xc bike. Probably with pt mids/pro circuits and either a 2-1 39mm lectron or dual 30's. Unless I decide to spend enough for some snipers built specifically for my application. I'm more focused on my chassis/suspension for now. You can only go as fast as your suspension will let you!
  11. If anything you have lowered the price of that bike substantially by hacking up the frame and all necessary to do this swap. You can make more hp with a banshee motor and it would be far lighter. I wouldn't pay 2 grand for that thing.
  12. Do a 4-7 mil serval and don't look back. I've done the 4 stroke thing for trails and it's just not the same. Get your set up straight and the banshee will eat trails and mountains alive and still have the rush we all love about 2 stroke power delivery. Or get a raptor, weigh the pro's and con's yourself and figure out on your own if it's right for you, wasn't for me. Like mentioned if I were going to get a 4 stroke it would be a KTM. My 525 is pretty damn mean and they have a metric shit ton of potential.
  13. Ugly, doesn't have any good lines. I could think of FAR better things to spend that much money on, for that bike, rather than useless and ugly plastics.
  14. Sounds like you need a snowmobile to get to work lol.
  15. This is a fantastic thread, very well documented, and great pictures. Also, it is inspiring, I don't know anything about efi but it is tempting me to learn more and attempt such a set up, as I tend to dislike carbs! I can't wait to see the finished product. Do you mind telling what the ballpark range of cost on this project is?
  16. He literally, in the post your quoting, says it interests him and you are still trying to argue otherwise? Snop has a very good point, most people give their opinion based on a very small testing group of product then go so far as to claim whichever out performed the other is the best out there and all of a sudden swear by it. That is why there is so much misinformation out there. I've been around the forums for a while; reading more than posting obviously, I see this all the time, I also see the more experienced members post their opinions, and testing history on set ups along with facts about the physics of a 2 cycle engine and still are argued or lashed out against as if the less experienced who originated the thread asking "which is better" or some other question is some how edified after the fact. It can sometimes be hard to differentiate between someone's opinion and fact but usually the person with the facts posts are better put together.
  17. I've been back and forth with 450's and the banshee, even put a banshee motor in a yfz and it just wasn't the same. I would just stick with the banshee. You'll grow out of the thinking stickers look cool phase, most people on this forum are older and prefer the clean look, that and Trinity is a piece of shit company and has screwed over a lot of members here.
  18. I didn't have much trouble with the last bike, it was a 4 mil rz cylinder bike.
  19. Yeah it will have to be something I experiment with. More than likely the shortest I'll be able to go is stock. I think while I'm at it I'm going all in the first time with a 10 mil super serval.
  20. Since you already have the works why not send them to Matt to have them set up for your weight/riding style? Like he said yfz shocks are only good for the money if you can get a good deal on them.
  21. Says in the first post 19cc domes and 110/93 mix. I sent you a PM Yesterday. I will take it, get back to me when you see it, I have the cash ready to go. Thanks.
  22. I had a -2.5 on my old bike. My current build is using a stock length roundhouse but I have plans to drop back to a -2 on this one as well. I may keep the stocker to see if the -2 is too much for the serval. It's one of the best suspension mods out there, huge difference.
  23. Why would I be angry? You're still comparing the CPI and T5 in a flawed manner, what the others were trying to tell you is on a modded engine the CPI will make MORE power than the T5 SOONER than this 8500 rpm you're stuck on. I also don't understand how you took it that I didn't want you asking questions? I'm saying don't ask questions then argue otherwise like you knew in the first place, it's redundant. If you're going to ask legitimate questions to learn, PLEASE do so, learn from them. I'm simply trying to get a point across to you in hopes of helping you, I would never find myself getting emotional over any post on an internet forum. Take it how you will.
