2000 Banshee,T-5's, Cool head w/22cc domes, Pro-X pistons bored .10 over,East Coast port & polish, Pro Design intake and K&N running no lid w/vents, Works shocks, ricky stator+4 axle & other stuff
im looking into buying a cheap banshee 1994 and up, stock or modded any cond., running or not for under $1400,
or a complete rolling chassis in VG cond. 1987 and up, with factory or aftermarket parts, title a must.
im located in Hazleton PA
yea i used my banshee for deer hunting and stuff alot last winter, not very good in snow or for putting around. me and my friend were hunting he shot a deer so we tied its neck to the grab bar and drug it back home
i would race on pavement cuz the 4 stroke will problably hook up better in the dirt, i would say you should be able to take a stock pred in a drag race
my cp is fucked. i cant access any of my files and shit. all this spyware stuff keeps coming up and it is just a mess. anyone kno how i can get rid of it and get my cp back to normal? any help will be great
im not sure exactly how it is measured, but its because 2-strokes burn oil and produce larger amounts of something. im sure somebody else can explain this better, im no scientist as you can tell. but the hippies will get their way its gonna suck now because they are gonna stop making banshees and snowmobiles weed wackers and whatever else. those people think they own the planet or something
ive been hearing from different people that cool heads will weaken the right cylinder and will crack if you hold your shee wide open?? and that getting your stock head milled will be better. i have a pro design cool head and never had any problems with it. anybody else hear things like this??
i would rejet and check your airscrews, then check your plugs to get a more accurate idea of how your jetting is. as for the smoke after running in the high rpm's i think the stock pipes will smoke like that
when i start my shee i have normal smoke until i ride and fully warm up, my question is, say i am shooting some big hills, i can rip all the way up them when i get to the top it smokes alot of white smoke for maybe a min. or so then its ok. not a huge amount but noticably more. im running my stock pipes right now with my mods and as far as i know my jetting is good. no problems performance wise. is this just excess oil burnoff or what????
i would problably go with wiseco pistons for the top end, i rebuilt mine not to long ago and used pro-x pistons they are all good brands. as for the crank i would go the extra way and get a hot rod crank that way if you ever get cool heads and bumb up the compression you wont have to worry about having problems the stock crank. i heard that the ptr's work good with porting too. rocky mountain atv sells wiseco pistons for 65 a piece or get a complete top end rebuild kit with gaskets and everything for problably around 150 to 250 depending on brand. a new hot rods crank from dennis kirk is 500 you can prob get that alot cheaper if you look around tho. hope this helps
when i break a top end in i always use a conventional 2-stroke oil like the yamalube from yamaha, the higher synthetic performance oils like klotz, MC-1, Maxima, and those tend to be to "slippery" and dont allow the engine to break in right.
