  1. TSR is very good software...relatively easy to use although the print functions are cumbersome as hell due to DOS programming. You'll need to download "snag-it "to print off port specs and even then youll have a hard time on pipe designs. Ill be releasing a much more comprehensive software package later this year in windows format based on Excell programming. It will have a ton more parameters to work with, much better combustion software and more comprehensive combustion chamber design software as well, and its alot easier to use....Jim

  5. I have no doubt in believing it. A local guy has a lightened up big bore, ported, cammed, piped and spraying who knows how much nitrous on his Kaw and my 421 will smoke him by at least 20 bike lengths in 400 feet.

  8. Heck of a deal. Ive inspected several sets of these pipes so far and they have the best production chrome Ive seen from Shearer so far...they even have polished silencers too. Small bore chrome OOF drag pipes are $450.00..Jim

Lincolns economical square wave TIG machines are pretty sweet, thats what I use..a little pricey for the hobbiest..by the time you get your bottle and a few other goodies, youll have around $1800.00 wrapped up in a 175 amp machine, but you can weld just about anything with it. It also comes with a DC stick rig built in the package as well....Jim

  15. I recognize those jugs..I updated those jugs to a 4mill 12 port after previously being ported by someone else. 80+HP no prob on Shearers and 35's..tons of bottom end and very broad power....Jim
  16. Moderately ported jugs and CPI's would come alive on 33PWK's...especially on the big-end.....Jim

  18. Warm motor, both plugs out and spark plug leads grounded, full throttle ...kick until pressure reading stops rising...Jim
  19. Not familiar with your porting but try this...it works with PJ's on many engine configurations. DEK needles somewhere in the middle torwards upper clip knotch, 50-55 pilots, air screws 2.5 turns out, and at sea level prolly around 150 mains, maybe a little more if the temps are low. Run the idle adjusters completely in and back out 10 turns, start the bike and adjust idle sync until you have smooth idle, feel for the cold pipe initially, ck it fast after start up and adjust that idle up until temps are even. Then adjust air screws until highest idle is obtained and then richen .25 turns after you have found highest idle. Reset proper idle speed. Ck slide lift and sync cable lift .Take it for a spin, plug chop, fine dial mains, then fine dial needles. If you still have idle problems, richen the pilots one step and start over...good luck...Jim
  20. Build quality is excellent, chrome is excellent, fit and accuracy I give a C-, silencers are pro-circuit units (no comment). Most definately going to be leg-burners and a pingle wont clear unless you turn it around until you cant turn the gas off(ever). I haven't compared to Shearers on the dyno but after plugging in the data in my software, its somewhat apparent they will have a little better bottom end and less peak HP than a Shearer SVI on 421 Cub motors...Jim
  21. Fouled, your engine is completely different than Passion99's engine. Foulded's is a bridged exhaust 421 long rod. It will re-act entirely different than your engine. Passion99,as in ALL plate configured 12 ports yours will want a ton of fuel in the mid-range.....Jim
  22. Im not a bible pusher but Im not so stupid that I think all this happened by purely chance. I personally think evolution has had its place on this planet but I think MAN got the least of it. Im sure 25,000 years ago we didnt look quite like we do now, but, we were still MAN, not monkey, and certainly no genetic link of any sort to Michael Jackson. It suprises me others cant see the possibility of this. As for the bible, even if you dont believe in religion in any way, live your life by what it says and you and your family will be better for it.
