Do you mean by using the actual Honda carrier or the Honda Style carrier for the banshee? If I remember correctly.. the true honda carrier is narrower. I also think that the races on the axles are in different locations (farther apart on the banshee)

Stay away from ASR....... That guy is one of THE biggest crooks....... I cant tell you how many people got screwed when he closed Last Rebel Racing and re-opened American Star Racing a week later in the same building. I helped many people get their shocks back because he was having TCS do all of his shocks way back when.... Todd (TCS) wouldnt ship the shocks because that d*ckhead owed him big coin. If you notice how similar ASR is to LSR...... He almost put LSR out of business when he pulled that stunt. If I remember correctly.. he owed Dan (LSR) around 45k. Last I knew he was having Fireball racing build all his suspension parts. If I was you I would look into the Ricky stator tie rods, LSR's or even Gibson's........... (note: gibsons are almost identicle to the LSR's) and the ASR's are just a copy of the LSR's.

While I cant speak from personal experience (since it wasnt my shee) I will add my 2 cents here Trailsallday has a STOCK banshee.. carbs, porting, head ect. The only other mods he has are Delta reed cages, and 4 deg advance timing. From what I saw there was a huge improvement. I would have to say he gained some (not a ton) of low end and gobs more mid to top power. I dont know what kind of riding you will do mostly. But these will make a huge improvement over stock. As for Trails bike... Throttle response was right there and seemed to pull very well. Ask him... Im sure he will tell you how happy he is

Hey there Walt, how's it goin?? How's the Suburban workin out? Yeah, the arms are nice. The stabilizer is equally nice, although the race this weekend was so unbelievably rough that I don't think anything would've helped, maybe a $500 GPR stabilizer, but hey... No, it really works well, in fact, being the race was so rough and pounding, I didn't get any arm pump, and my forearms are just a tad sore, but I'm sure it would have been ten times worse without it. Hey dude... the lil tahoe has been awesome.... I so wish I got one sooner. Do you have any local boys w/ stock suspension? Go ride one of theirs if you can and then jump back on yours... Im sure you will see a huge diff. Arm pump is something I just dont get anymore. After a long weekend riding (dunes) the only thing that hurts on me is my thumb (dam 34's) Im glad to hear your happy with the setup.....

2Smoker: I've said it one and I'll say it again... YOU can NOT buy ANY paint worth a sh*t in a spray can. There is a reason why a good job is so much more $. I have spilt race gas, AV gas, and dot-3/4 brake fluid on my paint jobs and not once have they left a mark. 87sheerips: No the paint is NOT good and no matter how you prep the plastic... That paint will NOT hold up to any harsh chemicals.

I only have one thing to add to this mess..... IF it wasnt a plane... then what happened to the one that "supposedly" hit or didnt hit the pentagon? Where did all the people go? I couldnt even begin to make a list of who I've delt with on here..... and out of everyone.. I've only had 1 bad experince. They needed a stator BAD..... I sent it off as usual (before payment) After several emails he said he didnt need it and was going to return it. Well that was over a year ago and I still havent seen the stator or the $. Otherwise I've had great luck with everyone here. I say we should have a rating system next to all of our mini profiles shown on the righ of topics/forums

Jeepman: Sure I would like to go riding.... but my schedule doesnt leave me much spare time. I had my shee out for about 5 minutes today since we had a few people over for the holiday. As it looks right now I dont think I will be able to get out until the last weekend of the month. This coming weekend they are expecting rain and the weekend after(18-19) I will be going to NY for Indian Larry's memorial service. Where abouts are you located in East Longmeadow? Can you make it down by me w/o any problems? You dont have to give me your address...... I could always hook you up w/ my wifes nephew... he rides this area all the time..... No need to feel like a jackass either... were all laid back here.

Mike: While I am normally a wise ass, this time I'm not Rebelbanshee was saying the parking break... It sends a signal to the CDI, and wont let the motor rev (similar to what you describe) It will idle fine but not rev out at all Now..... While I've had just about every problem at least once with my shee... I will see if I can help. IF the crank seal/bearings were bad between the two cyls, then your left cyl wouldnt fire/run correctly either. IF the air leak was bad enough to suck the fuel charge from the right cyl then it would also push the fuel charge from the left into the right.... I just cant see a center seal causing what you describe....

The PJ is a round slide where as the PWK is a flat or ("D") slide. Round slide carbs are better suited for low/mid range power where the Flat slides are better for top/mid range. Now when running alky the PJ's are a great carb to modify. If all your going to be running is gas/race fuel, then I would suggest the PWK's. Due to the design of them you will get better throttle response.

Sorry for the late reply........... To me this sounds like an ignition problem. Have you tried closing the gap on your plugs to see if it helps? Do you have anyone that you can swap out CDI, Stator and Coil with? Now if your plug is bone dry, then your starving the cyl of fuel. Now........ If your RIGHT cyl is lean and you pull the LEFT wire and it stays running, BUT when you pull the RIGHT wire the motor dies. That to me is an electrical/ignition problem. Have you done anything else recently to test/decipher what the problem is?

Jeepman: I'm right on the enfield/longmeadow line. I'm sure if you've been riding around here at all then you would have been out behind my house. I can make it to the back of East Longmeadon HS, Milton Bradley, Halmark cards, Lego dist center, ect. All illegal but boring for me since I've ridden it for the last 12 yrs. Just be carefull if you do ride out by me.... The people in the condos out behind me are always calling the police. Yes I work for Keystone..... I'm their paint rep/salesman. I know that store of mine sells parts to Sarat, but he wouldnt know me since I dont deal with them for paint. I'm lucky enough not to have to deal with the parts end of the business.

Jeepman: I'm two towns over from you... and just to let you know... There are NO legal places to ride in Ct or Mass and no dunes either. The closest set of dunes is located at Silverlake Michigan... Approximatly 890 miles from us. I've been to a sand/gravel pit in Maine but thats not legal either

trialsallday: Your bike is very impressive for a stock bike. I helped Chris with it when I was up there on Tuesday. One thing I have to say is I do NOT miss the stock airbox/carb setup..... I also HIGHLY recommend you get yourself a prodesign plate for the airbox. (If Chris didnt already) As for the pipes.... The fit and quality is VERY nice.... Welds are clean, chrome is nice, and just an overall nice setup. K&K's shop is just a work of art... or maybe an art gallery I could hang out there all day As for Chris.... hehe yes he was shaking a lil when he got off of it I'll try to post more about this when I get home today.
