urethanes preferably.... (basecoat-clearcoat) Yes you will want to apply 2 coats of a urethane clear once your done w/ the artwork. I hope you dont plan on airbrushing directly over the plastic... You will need to prep the plastic for paint and then apply a ground coat (color of your choice) You then want to do your artwork over the groundcoat and then clear... Its a long drawn out process and if you skips steps you will end up w/ a mess Good luck

Last night I realized I dont have any skid plate mounts on my +4 swingarm, so I guess I'll have to find another swingarm or be a lil more carefull when I'm out there

gbf4ever: How much do you think its going to cost you for powdercoating? Do you have all the necessary tools to paint the frame the "correct" way? Do you know whats involved in painting the frame? I could set you up w/ materials if I know what color you want to do. I've painted my frame in the past and when done right it will hold up good. just not as good as powdercoat

Led: My heart goes out for you and your family. There is nothing anyone can say or do to make you feel better. But its important to be there for your family as much as you can. I lost my father to cancer 10 years ago last month. It was one of the worst days of my life, but I know he is always there watching over me, as with your dad. I wouldnt say things will get easier for you since there will be times that you will be excited about something and want to go to your dad.......... and he wont be there.. I'm running the 34TM Mikunis and I love them. They are easy to work on and get jetted in. You may lose some low end throttle response but that would depend on exactly how your motor is set up. I would contact your motor builder and see what "he" recommends. With my current mods I have tons of low end w/ a screaming top.... So I have no complaints

Jason: I've been thinking about this for the last few days... Why dont you plan on meeting us that wed (3rd). Grab a hotel/room for the night and follow us out the next morning? Think about it....... after driving all those miles you will want a night to relax, get a full nights sleep and take a shower... Feeling fresh the next morning you can follow us to the dunes. Especially since there is no running water out there and all there is, is an outhouse for a bathroom... Think about it and let me know..
