  6. Sheesh...... I hope you guys know I was joking... I've never seen any of the Maier stuff fit well or look good... I'll stick to my shitty lookin fullbores
  7. What are you guys talking about? I think thats the hottest thing that they have done for the banshee yet! I'm actually trading my fullbores straight up for a set of those! Come on guys. Give a guy a chance
  8. There is no doubt in my mind that Stan could make you anything you want... No skimping on quality from him what so ever....
  9. I pay roughly 320.00-330.00 a year on my old 88 heap... here is how my policy states coverage. Liability $100,000.00 each person/$300,000.00 each accident $50,000.00 property damage per each accident $250.00 comprehensive deductable $100.00 collision deductable $10,000.00 additional coverage for aftermarket items In other words I have it insured for 10,000 and I have a 250.00 deductable for a lil over 300 a year Thats through Progressive
  10. When I first upgraded to a-arms, I ran ATV Racings adjustable uppers w/ stock lowers. ( I still have them and they are for sale ) Just recently I upgraded to the LSR race +2+1 a-arms. I currently run the TCS dual rates w/ res, but I want to upgrade to a set of Custom Axis. Either way it was an excellent upgrade! I'd never go back.
  11. I dont have a pic of a newer banshee but here are a few pics of my 88' w/ the older style spindles/calipers sorry for the poor quality pics... battery was dying in my camera so I couldnt use the flash. Anyone have any pics of the newer style calipers?
  12. I have 2 pairs... all with good balljoints make an offer
  13. Gobbler: I'll check w/ the guys over at K&K this week about that... or at least get a good look at them to see what would be involved. bdbanshee: I get everything I need from K&K... and Im pretty sure they had the lines in stock when I needed them... You just have to specify that they are for the older banshee's. Im sure Stan could make them for ya too if he knew what ends to put on the lines.....
  14. I would have to take some pics tomorrow... I think I still have the calipers off the 99 and mine is an 88' I'll see what I can do tomorrow to get some pics.
  15. The 87-90 calipers are completely different than the newer ones and will NOT bolt up to the older spindles. The older calipers are actually better than the newer ones since they are much larger and have better stopping power than the newer ones. I have a chance to swap mine to the newer spindles and calipers... Once I saw the difference I kept my old calipers. So yes you WILL need new style spindles if you want to convert to the new calipers
  16. Sorry about the confusion... But Iridea250r is Pete and he is from Minnesota. He is just good friends w/ Dave and was asked (by Dave) to post that info for him since he doesnt have net access at this time. This is just our way of letting everyone know that Dave is trying to get back on his feet, and that Steve is a lying dickwad. Its too bad things ended up the way they did.... but hopefully in the long run Dave will have everthing back in order. Anyone unsure of this... Call dave himself on his cell phone (# i posted above) and ask him yourself.. Thank you again everyone
  17. Dave Moore started MP(Moore Performance) and built the name and reputation himself. A year or so ago he decided to go in as partners w/ Steve. Steve's wife (a Lawyer) drew up a contract that Dave was stupid enough to sign. (non compete) Over the past few months Steve pissed off customers and lied to many.(Including me several times) Dave decided he wanted out and wanted to go back on his own but couldnt afford to since he invested all of his money into the business, and Steve ran it into the ground. Dave ended up loosing his house because of it too... Towards the end when I would call there to talk to Dave, Steve would tell me "he isnt here", "He is on the lathe", or some other BS excuse. Knowing full well Dave was no longer there. Steve has been using Dave's name/reputation to keep the business going while having someone else build/port motors, but telling them "Dave is working on it" If anyone wants Dave Moore to do any motorwork I suggest calling Dave himself and I would think twice about dealing with Steve/Doongoony here on these boards.
  18. I have a pair of fronts (stock) off a 99' in mint shape. Make an offer
  19. I decided that everyone here should know the truth also.... This was posted over at planetsand.com last week. Pete is known here as Iridea250r and Dill over at planetsand. I am posting this partially for my friend Dave Moore (founder of MP Racing), who does not have computer access now due to the circumstances I am about to detail, and I am partially posting it to clear my own name due to the MP Racing post a couple months ago here on Planet Sand. Anything currently, and made in the past several months, by MP Racing, has not been made, endorsed, or touched, by Dave Moore. Dave Moore is no longer with MP Racing, and hasn't been for several months. When you buy or have work done by MP Racing, you are dealing with Steve Hershberger, and Steve Hershberger only. Dave has not made swingarms, chassis' or motors for MP Racing in several months. I feel that most members on Planet Sand would like to know this, as Dave's reputation is what has sold alot of the product for MP Racing, and if something that is not right that is sold by MP Racing, I wouldn't want Dave's reputation to be held liable for it. The MP Racing as we once knew it does not exist. If anyone wants product or engines built by Dave Moore, or feels they dont believe me, Dave wanted it to be known that you can feel free to call and speak to the real Dave Moore at 503-999-4621, he asks that you try to keep call minutes to a minimum as he is on a cell phone until he gets back on his feet from this fiasco. You can also check in online at http://www.DaveMooreRacing.com Just an FYI. No discussion needed, Thanks Dave/Pete Anyone now dealing w/ MP racing or Dunegoony is ONLY dealing with steve. Steve has lied to me and jerked me off when I had a problem and wanted to speak to Dave. The whole time knowing Dave wasnt there. Anyone dealing with Steve should know that he will not always be truthfull with you and you have been warned.
  20. Brian: Do you just need the stock intake boots? If so I have a set or two.... Let me know..
  21. I'm not sure who you talked to but your being jerked off.... I personally have a progressive policy on my shee w/ an additional coverage of 10,000.00$. THEY told me that they had to send an appraiser out to inspect the vehicle for Vin verification AND to take photos of it to prove what aftermarket items were installed. I origionally wanted 15,000.00 coverage and they were going to do it, but I decided against it. Thinking about it now.. Did you tell them its a "race" bike? I told them that mine is just a "toy" and is not raced. That may have something to do with it... I'd call back and as to talk to someone else or a supervisor.
  22. The books your looking for are by Holander or Hollander. <sp?> I'd check Ebay first.... What year vehicles would you like to have? I have many different connections and may be able to aquire some.
  23. coolhead03: Your talking about the "Villa" or "Hazardvilla"? I'm right around the corner from there down by "johnny's fruit stand" I've been here since 74'. How old are you? How long have you been in town? Sorry for taking this thread off track Nickxc
  24. coolhead03: Im roughly 4 or 5 miles from you on the Mass line over by Shaker Pines Lake. I cant ride this weekend... and the next 3 or 4 weekends are not looking good either. I hope I can do some riding by the end of April or maybe early May. Then I need to get the shee ready for Coalfest!
  25. coolhead03: What part of Enfield are you in? And where do you ride? Were neighbors
