Sredish: Im not saying its you BUT I have seen people overtweak their machines into pc hell. When I'm done installing an OS, I will instantly do all the windoz updates/security patches(Service packs). When I'm all done w/ all programs and its just about finished I will run a defrag several times till its clean. The ONLY times I've had any problems w/ any machine I've built is if there is a hardware issue. I've seen a rash of bad memory lately cause problems similar to yours... So dont rule out a hardware issue

Well........ I will stand behind what Nate stated above. Now... as for your laptop.. I agree it needs to be formatted and re-installed. BUT on a different level. (again what Nate stated) Depending on you I would say get yourself a nice padded box. Wrap it up nicely and send it to me. I'll send it back to you ready to go. (all programs included) Your laptop has plenty on umph so I dont think thats the problem. What was done to it lately? Didnt the mobo go bad? Now not that Mac's are junk but I think you would have problems integrating everything w/ Windoz and Mac...

yes, and i will be racing against proquad at elizabeth city, nc. granted he runs tt and short track a hell of alot more than me, but i'll do my best. hell, i want to ride a real passion mtr. i've ridden his mx cylinders and didn't like them. i'm not tryin to step on any toes or piss anybody off. so please don't take offense. Tats: Are you still coming up to Southwick at the end of the month? I've ridden and owned a fair share of motors.... Lets just say I'm very picky about who works on my motors from now on. Its a short list and I dont care how ong I have to wait. I'd rather get what "I" want instead of what "XYZ" motor builder thinks I want.

Ok here is my 2c worth. I love my shee and I cant think of anything that compares, BUT get on an MX track and a smaller more nimble bike will eat you alive. The tighter the track the worse it will be. If the track is faster and more wide open then you have a chance. The cost to make your shee more track friendly compared to a stock YFZ isnt worth it to me. A few mods and a new YFZ is a tough contender on the track. How much would you expect to spend on your shee to make it track worthy? At the last Southwick race I saw near bone stock YFZ's eating up the banshee's on the track. I dont know each and everyones skill level but they are getting harder and harder to beat on the track. What current mods do you have done to your shee? A complete suspension upgrade is in order since NOTHING stock will cut it for track. Just new suspension will run you anywhere from 2000.00 +++ (a-arms, swingarm, axle, shocks) Now add motor work, and all the extras..... Buy the YFZ and save yourself some headaches

The closest set of "DUNES" on the east coast is Silver Lake Michigan. I know there is something down in Lousiana, but I'm not sure of the name. Im sure there are sand/gravel pits everywhere but those are NOT dunes. My suggestion............ stay out west. There is noting on the east coast thats worth a dam for dunes. If I could only talk my wife into moving out west....... Blah`
