Yet Another Computer Question
banshee370 replied to Cotton eyed Joe's topic in General Banshee Discussion
STAY AWAY FROM NORTON!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lemme know when is a good time to call you and I'll set you up w/ everything you need -
Last I knew K&K had piles of them in stock.............. May wanna try them too
-
Get me a measurement of the OD of the Intake side of the carb... 30's are larger than the 26mm stockers.. Just because the stock boots will "fit" doesnt mean that they are the same or correct size
-
Ok what did I miss? Did I go and piss someone else off again?
-
Stock carbs or aftermarket?
-
Please dont take what I said wrong. I like Ricky AND his products. BUT......... I've seen a lot of his "knock off" stators go bad and also doa. Do yourself a favor and go to planetsand.com and do a search for RS's stators. There is a dam good reason why his stock replacement is 125 when an OE is over 300.00 When a stator takes out a crank and cyls from ignition problems is when I will stick with a OEM stator. Not worth the difference in savings to me.

Happy B-day dude! So when are ya picking up that 500? No better b-day present then one you buy for yourself!

wow, thats some crazy shit. i have to actually work to start his banshee when its cold. ill ask him what jets he has on his carbs. should it be 280 or 270? hes on flat land. maybe he doesnt even have his shit jetted at all, because if he did it would start in 1 kick right? i think he just told me that because his friend bought a toomey tr6 kit and so hes saying his is jetted to. Being "Jetted" is a term....... but having your bike TUNED is different. "Jetting" your bike means more than changing the main jet. My shee w/ 225lbs compression can be started sitting down on the first kick. To get the bike to start on the first or second kick will require "tuning" of the carbs. You will have to change/check your pilot jet and adjust your air screws. Idle adjustment too.... Needle position could also play a role in it......

Tats: describe to me what they look like.... I saw a few guys covered in ink over the weekend... Maybe I'll call you this afternoon. Same # as before? As for the race......... First heat Jones walked away from everyone, and kept on pulling away. Until he smoked his motor and ended up 7th(i think) Natale was in front of Gust, but made a mistake on a corner and gust went by him like a blur....... Second race Gust just stayed in front..... As usual Gust ended up first. Natale second and Goodman 3rd (overall) Normally each pro will like one track over another,,,,, Quote from Farr; There is nothing nice about this track" It was HOT and the track was ROUGH. I guess its why they call southwick "the toughest track in the country" I took some pics, but most were of the scenery I know jkjk got some pics.............

Do they have a cell phone? I did hear that there was an accident on I84 in CT. They closed the highway and it was because of a tractor trailer over turned... No other vehicles were involved. It was on a section of 84 that has bad cell coverage so they could be stuck there.... Anything you need let me know and I will help

Sometimes? I'd say more than "sometimes" hehe

When are you leaving?? -
Spy-bot and AdAware work very well together... Either of the two work very well though. Once you dl and install Spybot I recommend you check for updates and make sure you have it block all exploits to save you from future attacks

Tats: I didnt see anything like what you described for a truck there... I didnt get the chance I wanted too, to walk around. From what I did see... I didnt see their truck. I hope all is well Coolhead; email me the pics and I can host them

Broke: The reason most people have a problem with him is because of his pure arrogance and lack of respect for his members (BBS). He is no longer building engines due to woman problems and health issues (according to what I read on another site) One of his best lines that I ever read from him was the fact that he builds engines for people who have no talent or intelligence to tune it themselves. I'm sure everyone wished they knew everything but if we did... then we wouldnt need people like him to do our work. Me... I'd rather run a stock motor then send it to him. No matter how good he thinks he is. Planetsand.com has some great minds that can help with some explanations of certain things. You just have to be ready for the idiots. They all have the "almighty" attitudes. Any engine builder that knows what he is doing deserves some respect... I just dont think anyone should prance around with a chip on their shoulder.

As much as I hate to give this jackass any credit.... it is due. http://macdizzy.com/2stroke.htm Rick Kirmil has a great amount of info found on his site. Take your time and read as much as you can. Dan is awesome when it comes to explanations and support. None of this is rocket science and there are no real "secrets" Good luck and enjoy the reading....

How to say I DONT WANT YOU ON MY QUAD
banshee370 replied to German Shepherd's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I've let countless people ride my shee... But I have a different view than most.... First off.................. If they have a bike, I can assess fairly quick by the condition of it and by how they ride. Also by the way they carry themselves. (mature or not) If I feel any bit uneasy, then they dont get a chance to swing a leg over it. Now.... The way I see it...... If "I" allow someone to ride my shee and something happens that is "out of their control" then I accept 50% of the responsibility since it was MY choice to allow them to ride it. BUT if they do something in pure negligence then its going to get ugly. Ask anyone that went to Dumont.... I let many people ride my shee.... Hell I wont even let my wife on it -
I know enough to get myself in trouble and just enough to get back out Over the last two years I've averaged 10k a year in PC's/part purchases at my friends local pc shop. I build/repair pc's for friends, family, and customers. I also build and support 7 private networks for friends and customers. All this in my spare time. On any given week I have at least 1 or 2 pc's here being built or repaired.

Give us an age group and abilities. What kind of riding? Sand? trails? fields? What sort of upgrades do you mean? Suspension? Engine/performance?

One reason why this post hasnt gained any momentun is the fact that port timing is only part of the big picture. First off MOST engine builders dont want their "port specs" broadcasted across the net. Any builder that knows better will tell their customers, but most people wont understand what they are talking about anyways. The shops with something to hide are just affraid that someone will try to copy their work. Something that most people dont know or realize, is that the transfers, roof angles and sometimes even the liner cut away will make the most gains (along with porting of the intake/exhaust) Cant forget domes (head) either. Compression is everything

I "should" have the bolts.... How soon do you need it for? I could check for the bolts tonight if you need this soon
