my sig didnt change sorry . i have orignal rocket pipes , 19cc domes , +6 timing and dune/trial port , lightned flywheel , open airbox , vfoce 2 reeds , reed spacers. for power mods
im currently running 20cc at 1,200ft-2,000ft riding around and 94 octane and my mods should be in my sig . i was wondering if i could run 18cc domes on 100 octane gas (av gass) safely or would 19cc be better . just trying to get some cheap extra hp
hey im headed down from BC canada to spin reel for the first time and was wondering if there is any good hill climbs and were to find them . ive been to wnchester and coos bay lots but never realy explored spinreel
you should be fine a port doesnt change your compression ( correct me if im wrong please ) but with running a port and the added power you should get a welded crank , with all bolt on power you pushing the limit a bit but when you step into the porting bracket then you want a welded crank you dont want to risk not having it . another thing with all that power she might be running alittle hot to without any cooling mods done like a cool head would be a better choice then shaving the stock , inline coolers for hoses , bigger rad , upgraded impeller . all those help
talking about inside the pipe , alot of build up on the inside diameter of the pipe . asking if there is a good penetrating spray or anything to help it breath more again
im running an old set of fmf golds and there is alot of carbon build up and i think its hoding back my set up a bit and being that i just rebuilt my quad kinda dont have the money to dish out for new pipes. so is there a way to take off all the hard carbon build up on the mouth of the pipe . or am i up shit creek to i get new pipes
Not the carbs they are super clean and I switched carb and plug leads and the problem didn't follow carb or plugs. I took reeds out I have V-force 2 reeds and there is no gaps in the peddleds but a couple you can see alittle light threw the peddle but not at the tips.
so i split the cases and did upgrades and after i put everything back together i did a leak down test 6 for 6 and it passed . sync carbs with sync tool and dead on . now the left side even after i shot off the engine and pull a carb off or pull out a plug there is white well what seems to be white smoke omes out of cyl. and ive put on the noss head prolly about 6 times to stop that one side from leaking thinking its the head and i put new rings in and use white grease with the o-rings . any idea what it is should i split the cases again . doesnt seem to be looseing tranny oil and i put new seals and crank bearings in . any ideas would help thanks
