  1. I take everyone at face value. I believe Troy and I also believe Charlie. I know in my dealings with various builders I have said "oh thats fine, whenever" when I really meant " I want my shit now". Now I am sure we have all done this!!!!!! I am sure if Troy is honest with all of us that this is probably what happened. I also believe Troy when he says Charlie says it will be completed in 2 weeks. Bottom line it was a miscommunication on all partys. Lets just move on guys. It is sad but this is just a fact of life and all of the good builders take on far to large of a workload, and us, the consumers are the ones that pay. But in the end we get some very high quality toys and are happy! Ohton makes a good chassis and I am sure Troy is happy with it.

  3. Wrapping your pipes with header wrap is a BAAAAAAAAAAAD idea. You will hold in the heat and not allow your pipes to work as they are designed. You will run into tuning issues. There will be people that say do it, but if you truly know what is going on inside a 2 stroke motor, and you know a little about pipe design, you will understand what i am saying.
  4. Sixth gear is actually removed......There is extensive welding and machining to the shift drum. As well as some machining and beveling on the gears.
  5. I would build a 4mil supercub. Gonna be real close to the same price as a 7mil standard cub. It should be a great duner motor, tons of torque. And you pick up a few cc's, 443 versus 472!!
  6. This used to be fairly common with the fastline ignition for the banshee. Usually takes out the kicker gear and clutch cover when it happens.
  7. That would be a good start.......I like the exhaust a little higher but no higher than 200*. Boost ports do work but welding is a must!!!!!!

  11. For what it's worth......you should reconsider your decision!!!Split the cases. It takes a half hour to pull the motor and another hour or so to split the cases and reassemble. If you don't do this, you most likely will have more problems. Chances are good you will not get everything doing it your way.

  14. The new GRR inframe looks and performs nothing like the old outdated Rocket pipes. Please do not confuse the two!!!!!!!!!!! The new GRR inframe is a brand new design.........Rockets were designed a loooooooooong time ago. They are old news. There are many pipes out there that would be a better choice now.

  18. Yep, your bikes starting to come around! The override should put it over the top, make it one of the faster dune bikes out there. One other word ALKY!!!!!!!
  19. Either go 4mil or 10mil........the price is the same 7 or 10. Might as well get the biggest bang for the buck. It will cost about $250ish more for the 7/10 over the 4mil. This is because of the case trenching involved.
  20. If I were going to build a cub motor........it would be a 4mil stroker/72 bore. Very reliable and pretty good power.
  21. My fastest pass ever was 4.02 with 421 cub with a 20 shot. That was last year. I finally got a bike back together last weekend. It went a best of 4.32 @ 72mph on sand. It still has alot more in it and I have not hosed it as of yet. The motor is a stock stroke cheetah, I think 402cc's. It's NYUK's old asphault motor. I bought it from Andy at GRR he went 4.12 all motor on it this year.
  22. I have made tons of passes on carbon tech carbon fiber reeds without issue! So have others within the group of GRR riders. I am talking about 50-70 horse shots to, not little baby shots.
  23. GRR inframes are the baddest off the shelf pipe out there. Or if you want a pipe designed for your set up Andy will build a set of hand rolled pipes (inframe or outta frame). You will not be dissapointed!!!!!!!
