You are correct on how et is calculated........but if you stage shallow, then front tires in the air right at the start, thus causing the rear tires to break the beam first, you are now 5 feet into the run with a head of steam before the clock ever starts. This would also give you a slow reaction because of taking so long to break the beam. I am not saying this is what happened in your case. Just a hunch. The 60' and reaction are a good indication though.

The looooooooow 60' time coupled with the hiiiiiiiiigh reaction screams beam jumping. Along with the fact you said they were having problems with the lights. Don't want to take anything away from ya bro.............but........................I also have never seen a low 60' like that without a wheelie bar.

Heat is not an issue with an alky engine. I would agree if I turboed a 2 stroke it would be drag only.

No kidding I saw Brads run 4.5's at Bob's a couple weeks ago. With very conservative boost, and it looks very very stock!!!! The turbo banshees can be quite frustrating.......but if you have ever rode one, it is a rush like no other when that turbo spools up to 20 +++++++++++. I have rode a couple big Cheetahs, and in the power department they aint got shit on a turbo 350!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.020 are you kidding me???????????????? That is way to tight. I really don't care how you setup your own engine, But please do not recommend this recipe for disaster to others!!!!!!!!! I cannot stress enough that .020 is way to tight!!!!!!!! Optimum would be right at .040 up to around .058 or so.

I know they make a 66mm 4mil cylinder. They made it to fit in an under 400cc drag class, so I am not sure if it is available in any other stroke combo.

The maxload bearings are fine in a mild application. Dave's right the welds from hotrods are junk!!!!! Found that out the hard way!!!!!!!!! Damn nitrous!!!!!!!!

Just a thought but I know the Meijer supermarket in my area carries torco 110. Don't know the quality but they have it. I usually buy my fuel(sunoco) from I96 speedway (roundy round track) a few miles from my house.

Keep in mind this is a short(110mm) rod crank. I(along with most everyone else) definetly prefer 115mm rod cranks. Something to think about.

You could'nt be more wrong about the super cub!!!!! But I know something you don't. Also I have seen some very good running Vitos cylinders. They can be made to run good with a 4 mil crank.

Yes test and tune is on Thursday. I will probably be out on the dunes a little here and there. But mostly at WMSD. I will be getting there Thursday and going home Saturday after the races.

As long as the Rossier pipe has a spark arrestor you should be fine. Would'nt hurt to repack it before the trip. I have a Z400 with a alba pipe that is real loud and had no problems getting in this past weekend. Most of the stuff is all hype. If you don't draw attention to yourself you will be fine.

Lose the front brakes........I did'nt see anything about an aluminum axle, so I would be getting one of those for sure!!!! Did'nt see what you are running for tires, if they are paddles run ultralites!!!! Better pipes CPI, Shearer, Can the stock carbs be bored in this class? I would also run Marvin Shaw shocks. There is a big ATV only race that weekend at WMSD. You should make that instead!!! Most of the fast bikes in Mi. will be there!!!!! There are also bikes coming from all over. Should be a big race.
