Well guys this sucks, but.......They asked me to work Saturday. Just starting the job, it would not be in my best interest to say no...... so I will have to miss this one. This sucks I won't even be able to go to Bob's!!!!! The good news is I think I will just have the truck loaded and go straight to the dunes after work!!!! So all is not lost.....but I would rather be racin.......Have a great time!!!!! Promise me y'all will stop drinking after 6 or 7.........6 or 7 in the morning!!!!!!!

I have had many atc250r's over the years!!! I love those little bikes. I probably have enough parts in the garage to make one..LOL!!! One of these days I will get to that project or buy another! They are awesome duners!!!

Thats nice ..........treat the guy like a piece of shit.........then ask to borrow stuff. The worse part about it....If you make it to Michigan, you WILL get a bunch of help. And probably get a set of paddles. Thats just how we roll. We have a great group of racers that will do what it takes to make sure all have a great time. Egos are set aside, of course there is a lot of good natured ribbing..... and midget jokes....lots of midget jokes!! So just to recap.......bring that heap to Mi. and we will help you out!!! Put a wheelie bar on......and them try the taller haulers again. If somebody wants them....for a measly 200 bones, they can have them!!!

My first couple passes were in the high 4.30's @75mph with a 1.69 60' with my 12 paddles. Then I switched to Daves 14 paddles (could'nt start in 2nd anymore lol) and I ran a 4.30 with a 1.58 60'.....but lost 5mph. I am definetly going to be buying some bigger tires, not sure what though????? I really think the bike would have gone a lot faster with more seat time, as the track was starting to dry out.....but then my pipe mount broke. So my day was done!!

I have access to a couple of sets of yfz450 front shocks if you are interested. Just let me know. 1 set is 05 and the other is 04. These are owned by a buddy that replaced them with fox floats. They are very nice!!! Not sure what he would want for them but I am sure he wants to sell them.... What are they worth?????

I feel your pain buddy!!! I was notified in June my job of 13 years would be ending in October. Not a great job.....factory work.......but I enjoy my job for the most part, and I am skilled labor so the pay was nice!!!! I threw the word out with my former colleagues that I was looking for a job!!!!! A couple had possibilities I pursued, and 1 worked out. I am starting my new job in 2 weeks!!!!!!! A little unemployment would have been realy nice!!!! But I am just very ready to move on!!! This has been a long downward spiral at the old job. I have been a part of the closing of 5 of our other local plants and now it was our turn. I am really just glad it is over!!!!!

The rule if thumb is.........100% of the wheelbase. When I used to race asphault I used 2 small skateboard type wheels about 8 inches or so apart. Hope this helps!!

Just keep hanging out with us Dan......... You will learn soon enough how hard it really is to go fast. I mean really fast!!! It has been a goal of mine for a long time to break into the 3's...... I've been close (4.007).....that was on my 421 cub with a 20 shot. Close....but no cigar. I will be back on that goal soon. The job situation is starting to work out... I can start allocating funds to the drag bike!!!! And start playing with the bottle again!!!!!!

What exactly is that supposed to mean? I am guessing you have me confused with somebody else(although I think I know who). I have only dealt with a few on this site.......and it was certainly never with you!!!!
