  1. Stock cage with carbon tech carbon fiber reeds is the way to go!!!! The v forces look good on a bike, and I have seen them make more power on a dyno......but in the real world I see little if any difference. Just my .02!!!!! Tony Doukas racing also makes some fine stock replacement petals!!!!
  2. Im thinking 10mil 75 bore small block........... I think I will probably go thru Louie, although Cascade has some nice prices on them.
  3. I'm getting a shiny new set of Twister cylinders!!!!!!
  4. So by taking the weight off the bolts you are now not applying the same amount of downforce to each individual finger at the pressuse plate. Do you see a problem with that????? The rest of us do!!!!!!!! Streetshee the retard had an 8 pound waterhead.....He was 5 foot 3 and he said to me...... I like Tator tots!!!!
  5. Ok.... now that we have woved past the face this assclown has always had his meek little mind set on balancing........ Let me ask exactly how are you going to accomplish this???? There is a lot more to balancing than simply taking material off... You have a pivot point and even if you take material off the same spot on each arm they will now react differently when spun. Follow me. or have I lost you junior?????? They all weigh different amounts, so you will be taking different amounts of material off the same spot on each individual arm. This will in fact make them react differently when spun..... so one will apply more force than the other. This is a futile effort!!!! I know that the lockup that I had an effort in testing and designing, the arms were laser cut. Even with being laser cut there were still minor differences in each arm. It was just something that had to be lived with. There was just no practical way to balance (as you put it) each individual arm. Unless customers were to want to pay the extra labor it would cost to do this process. That is first hand knowledge.... do you understand junior????? FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE!!!!
  6. But your point is wrong!!!!! Trust me son, I've been playing this game a long time. You can have all the theories and laws you want!!! I know what works... and why!!!! Dave is right on this one... Bow out gracefully!!!!!
  7. While it would certainly be nice to have all parts balanced in these engines.....It simply is not practical. The Banshee engine is very poorly balanced to begin with and balancing the lockup will do nothing to improve the balance!!! But you can feel free to try!!!!!!
  8. You are very lean.....Tell us a bit about your setup.....what carbs... what jets......etc etc etc!!!
  9. .037 is tight.... I would like to see that more like .045 or so!!!! I personally would not run a general purpose engine with that tight of squish, you are asking for trouble. There is power for sure to be had from simply shaving a stock head..........but there is more power from rechambering a stock head and maintaining a safe squish clearance!!!!
  10. Thats a good bet.......The 4 that don't win each buy the winner a sixxer!!!! I'm in!!!!! Gotta ride our own bikes though!!!
  11. That is a very bad thing to do to a auto tranny!!!!!
  12. I wanna do it with me on the bike. Hell I think with some seat time last year, Dan would have gone in the 3's with no problem!!! I have gone 4.002 with 20 shot on my old 421 cub........sooo close yet so far!!!
  13. Bada I would not resleeve perfectly good cylinders. You will pick up such a small amount, it's just not worth it!!!! Spend the money on some good portwork, Eric does good work, you will love this set up!!!
  14. I'm gonna try to get the snomo quad done this year....but the twister will be my main focus. I just have this thing.......I wanna run in the 3's with a banshee based set up. It's been a goal for a while, and I cannot give up now!!!! Now I just need to sell the baby cheetah!!!!
  15. For what it is worth... I am building a 10mil 75bore twister mini this winter as well. I saw a 14mil 76 bore mini that one of the guys at our local track built. I knew when I saw that bike run I had to have one!!!!
  16. This is a great performing set of pipes!!! Bumpity bump!!!!
  17. I got a norrowed stocked......bought it off supprat. Gonna use it on the snomobike.
  18. Ya.....real drag bikes do not have lights anyways!!!!!!!
  19. The bike warrior is talking about would cost all of 50g's to build. As far as the supercharged or turbo......I would go turbo, simply because of the persitic loss of power with the supercharger. I know a guy with a 500 sabertooth that tried to run it with a supercharger and simply gave up due to not being able to make it run anywheres near consistently . The same goes for the guy I know with a supercharged 809 mach z, just far to many bugs to work out to make the project feasable. These are both people that are way better than average tuners and builders. And they were on drag vehicles designed to go short distances. How well will this work on a vehicle that will be disigned to go longer distances, reliably???? Electronic fuel injection would be your only hope with either the turbo or supercharger!!!! Good luck, I am not knocking your project. I just have a pretty good idea how it will end up!!!!!
  20. You made an awesome choice for a trail bike!!!!! I have a z400 for a duner, and love it!!! If that makes me a girl.......... whatever!!!! But I also have a pretty fast banshee in the garage as well!!! Lets race!!!!!
  21. Thanks Dan...No they are not ported,,,,,,,,,,
  22. Let me see if I can get a camera from a buddy... I'l post pics in the morning if I can!!
  23. I've got a trex top end, I bought it from wallace on here. It's just been sitting on the shelf, so it must go. It is the cylinders, which need to be resleeved. The head with domes, pitted, but very usable. I also have the powervalves and some v force reeds for it. I think I paid 300 shipped, so that is what I would like out of it. It is set up for a 4 mil crank and it is at 69 bore. I have no way to post pictures, camera is broke......sorry!!! If thats a big prob, I'll see if I can borrow a camera.
  24. Hope to see ya at Bob's...... Take care of yourself over there!!! Give me a hollar if you go to Bob's. I am sure that I among others will be able to come up with some paddles that will work for you!!!!!!
  25. I have a set of 10 paddle taller haulers(kevlar) I would sell for 200 bucks.... I'm in GR every day!!!! The paddles are in ok shape....not great....but for 200 bucks!!!
