I am very happy with my 565cc 10mil Twister small block. It is just like the day I got it from Lew, unported. I have ran a best of 4.21 on it, i weigh 230. My jockey at 150 pounds has ran a best of 4.10. Quite sure it will run a bit faster as is, but it will be sent out very soon for some porting and gonna switch over to big flange pipes. Gregrob what reeds are you running CR125 or shee?? I switched over to CR 125 and it definetly made a difference, although my engine is a bit bigger than yours.

I gave up ice riding a few years before the accident with Frank....... I saw pretty much the same thing on a dirt track in Kentucky. It was horrible, and I said I would never ride studs again................

Just a heads up........those studs are a major pain to get out. I guarantee that you will bust at least a couple of them trying to get them out. If they do not need replaced, I would think twice about it.

Jon Arens makes a very nice frame. I have had one, and they are flawless. If you are looking for a strong MX style frame that you can go sky high with, this is it!!! These frames are all laser or CNC cut, jigged up and welded by robots. This frame is as nice as any lonestar without a doubt.

When a methanol bike leans out severly it revs very very high. You can pull the tether, pull spark plug wires. It does not matter what you do electrically, the thing keeps screaming. It is dieseling at this point. The only thing that works is clicking up a couple of gears and dumping the clutch. Then it will go blah and die........................

Yup you are 100% right price was not a factor. But when a person decides exactly what they want. Then shops around and finds the best deal on that exact product. Most people buy it from the cheapest place.......... Cheap does not make a difference to me, getting the best deal on a given product does........Now get off Calvins tit.

I bought my Twister top end from Cascade, price was actually cheaper than I could get it from Twister. I talked with the tech guy forever...........then after I got the top end he actually called me to make sure all was good........That is great service to me.

Best bet would be for somebody to PM Todd on PS. I dont have his number, or a paid PS account or I would help ya out...............

Ya they were billet...I would say the floats stuck open and filled the crankcase. Honestly this really is not as bad as you thought......Just get another stock crank, have it welded and you are ready to run. Probably cost less than 200bux to be back up and running!!!!!!!!

I have ran Tusk clutches in the past, no complaints at all. Good clutches.

I would agree that the squish is awfully tight.........I would like to see it around .045ish............ I always ran my nitrous engines around 160-170 psi compression.

If this is Steves old top end, I have ridden this and will say it is a very hard runner!!!!!!! It is a steal at this price!!! BUMP!!!!!
