Do a search on how to do squish. It is super easy to do and all you will need is a couple pieces of solder and a good measuring device. I dont feel like typing a small novel on a phone......sorry lazy
Yup, I wanna know what the squish is and exactly what octane fuel you were using when it was backing plugs out. My guess is going to be poorly designed domes. I am assuming these are trinity domes, and that does not give me the warm fuzzies.
Are these off the shelf oring? As in are you guying at Zatkoff are someplace similar? Is it possible you need an oring of a different durometer? That is going to be my best guess is you need a harder oring. Also it is important if this is not a mono block to torque the head before torqueing the base gasket.
Not so much on the good advice. He is overthinking the hell out of it. Do a little research on snowmobile fuel pump systems. All you need is a port in one of your intakes for the pulse, a fuel pump ( most any 2 cylinder snomo pump will work) and the proper needle/seat assemblies in your carbs. Its that simple.
For an 8" wheel you want 21" tire. But the question is what you do with the bike. Hill climbing and playing around you have the better tire already. If you drag race a lot then you want the 8" rim tire.
