  2. I cancelled the LSR order... Spending this kind of dough, things need to be PERFECT. I just ordered these in the color pictured below. I won't be upgrading my axles however due to how much these ROLL DESIGN +2 +2 A-ARMS cost me w/ brake lines. But I'd rather do it right the first time instead of going cheaper to buy more parts and regretting it later. I also ordered my springs from ELKA. Anyway, I think I will have a kick ass front end when all is done.

That's a damn good setup..... but for the money you could've went with a laeger t-pin setup... that's the best front end that money can buy.... I THINK it's within 100$ either way of the roll design too... Who did you order through?

  3. So lets break this down brooke is gay...so gay that Lee doesn't even like her so he bans her. There are like maybe 50 people out of like a couple thousand that actually like her.....and she doesn't even own a banshee. She contributes absolutely nothing to this whole place and she has sand in her :baseball_mitt: THIS IS SOME WHACK SHIT MAN :baseball_w00t:

    LOUD NOISES

I don't have a 'shee either..... as a matter of fact.. I don't even like them anymore :ninja: ....

  4. The problem with small companies offering lifetime warranty is you really have no clue if they're gonna stay in business for however long you own your bike. When you buy a set of arms like laegers you are mostly paying for the name, but peace of mind comes with it also. Those arms are super cheap though, they have to be barely breaking even at that cost.

Break is excactly what they do.. this cat has made arms under several different names.... the "pc" flakes off like krylon.... bird doo looking welds..... remember ugly a-arms?

  5. How do the A-Arms from QUICKSAND MOTORSPORTS match up to Laeger's?

Just as good in quality... Laeger uses ball joints instead of heims though... people can argue the difference in the two all day long... I prefer the look of heims over a balljoint on my front end... You'll have to call and see if they still have the jig for a 'shee though....

Edit: call laeger.. not quicksand.... gary still and always will do 'shee arms...

  6. I'm still waiting on the parts, cant wait to get them installed. I'm interested to see how much ground clearance I will gain as well as extra suspension travel. I am going to get the Elka long travel setup for the rear in a month or two.

Anyone else with LT front end know how long your shocks are, eye to eye?

LT shocks are usually between 18 3/4 and 19 1/2''.....

  7. yup txblueshee i do need a rebuild my oil is pretty old.. but i wasnt saying that an elka wont fade out or break it was just a comparison to the factory shock rebuild upgrade (by elka, works or anyone).

also it doesnt matter if you have stock, stock rebuild or axis to win in MX. its all in the rider imo.. not saying im a shock/suspension pro, iv just riden and owned a million banshees with all sorts of different suspension and motors. thats where all my talk comes from.. and im still always learning

Money can't buy you skills...I've watched my buddy caleb lap the fucking field running works shocks on a 330ex.... Back when everybody ran 440's and hybrids.... We agree that you can only do so much with the stock shaft....

  8. Bush has friends in Zymesis Ono which lies outside of our galaxy. They happen to be his bankers and that's where he keeps all his oil and drug money. On 9/11 Bush wanted to buy a snickers for the bully at the school that he was at because that bully is Bush's kind of kid. When Bush checked his wallet he was out of change so he used his secret belt buckle phone and called his bank on Zymesis Ono and said he needed fifty cents. They thought he said Fifty Cent so they flew to New York to get him and in the process they cut off 2 passenger aircraft and the pilots didn't know what to think and fainted soon after the planes hit the Towers. When the aids told Bush he was stunned because he really needed that fifty cents so that's why he continued to read, he didn't care about the towers. Then his beings from Zymesis Ono came back with his fifty cents and didn't realize that he wasn't at the white house they turned around over Pensylvania and ended up colliding with a plane. The plane went down in a field and the injured bankers ship lost control and since it was travelling worp 90 million they crashed into the Pentagon. Geeze I can't believe I'm the first one to figure that out.

I sending you the bill when my keyboard shorts out from the water that just came outa my nose...

So Bush is a scientologist too? That explains where he got all his super powers from.

Naa... he bought those off e-bay...

I thought the H8 soundtrack was fucking horrible.. I liked it at first but couldn't listen to it more than twice... which is good b/c the movie is only good for well...ok H8 sucked.... If you want a good soundtrack checkout the nitro circus and crusty series....

  10. its pretty crazy, the shit people come up with. the loved ones of those who died at the pentagon sure dont appreciate it.

the government didnt want to release the hotel tapes until after the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui.

No shit... if you don't like it then fucking move... I've heard there's a nice hilton in Syria.... "Never under-estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers"....

  11. no not at all.. i was talking about me with the edit. no pissing here  sorry for the confusion

its almost hard to explain. you rebuilt your rear so you know how a shock works.think about whats going on in there. not only the diameter but the coating on the shaft is important. the bigger it is the better it pushes through the oil. its all about temp, longevity and performance. shock fade is a big deal. yes i have rode on a rebuilt shock and plenty of my friends have done it. after the first ride there squeeking and act as if they were no differance internally. but i do ride in hot the hot desert were most of you guys ride out in the mountains and such were its probly cooler.

A poorly built shock will fall out regardless of the parts in it... i've seen numberous sets of elkas clap out in the middle of a heat race... pulled out of the elka box that day.... Like the smaller diameter shafts in works and stock shocks will turn into an L everytime when pushed... Like you were saying.. there's alot of factors that will make a shock zero or hero... all of it has to work in sync or you have a bucking disaster of a shock.... One thing to consider since your in the desert.. it might not be the shock failing but instead the oil breaking down? There are plenty of people that run mx and win with rebuilt shocks.... A day at the mx track in the tx sun isn't excactly vacation on a shock...

  12. thats true. the more i think of it, the less i would recommend just anyone trying it. it really helps alot if you have someone there to talk you through some of the procedures.

I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone... too much of a hassle of fabbing up and R&D... it's alot more than making some bends and slapping a balljoint on the end..... I'm sure you know that though... all I can say is good luck :thumb: ....

  13. i did today. it was fucking amazing + some more.

it was also my first time at an MX track, and this was one hard packed mofo. i flat landed every thing the first few laps and it soaked it up. i slammed right into the face of a step up and it soaked it up. there is still some fine tuning to be done, but it never clacked out hard. Racetech's digital valving specs are real close to ideal for me, but next time i service it im going to go a little stiffer on the High speed compression stack.

The 450 fronts on the other hand need some work. soaked up every thing but my rider shortcomings. meaning the real hard flat landings and the smacking into the face of said step up. i think the compression clickers are almost all the way in, and rebound is in the factory position. but i was very pleased with them too. just need some tuning.

Overall the combo worked very well, the tires only left the ground when I wanted them too. Im in a welding/fab class so some custom a-arms are in the design stages. Once i get those done and tested im going to revalve the fronts with racetech gold valves also, then it should be riding like a bike not designed 25 years ago!

Hell yeah Cole... you got the time and the recources so I guess it's worth a shot...

  14. I wasn't aware that they made a non-adjustable axle..... just check the splines on the axle.. if they are like 2'' longer each side that yours than it's meant to be extended... that's ll the spacers do is slide over the splines...

  15. i believe it. i also believe that bush had something to do with the planes hitting the towers and that there were also charges in the buildings to collapse them. doesnt make sense to me that just a plane hitting a building that big and with the amount of support those buildings had to collapse it.

Dude.. a plane... prolly the size of your house... crashed into the side of the building at over 200mph... holding god knows how much fuel.... I watched it happen over.. and over .. and over... it happened and anybody that says otherwise just wants another scapegoat..... or money....
