  1. Alright, that's settled. I'll be getting a -2 arm, well, when I can ride again.

I liked my -2 when I had the stock front end, now I have +2+1 a-arms and I LOVE it, you couldn't pay me to go back to stock. I rode a 'shee this past weekend with the stock swingarm.... that ride lasted about 20 second. Felt like I was on ice compared to the -2.

Scott, Your more than welcome to ride my 'shee to test out the -2........ as long as were not in sand ;) . Get well soon so you can jump back up on the horse and ride.

  2. www.rockymountainatv.com has pipes, reeds, filter, and other go-fast goodies (and some bling).

If you want to get serious with it your gonna have to go to:

    www.quicksandmotorsports.com

    www.nacsracing.com

    www.thequadshopatv.com

I forgot jannsen racings site but they kick ass to.... those ought to be enough to tide you over for a while. Then you can hit up a search browser w/ keywords like "banshee suspension" "banshee aftermarket" "banshee" etc...

Edit: Damd Scott you type to fast

  3. I wouldnt go with the alba kit...i have heard bad things about their amrs and works shocks arnt the best. The best kit ive seen is Jansens setup in dirtwheels. elkas, Mx tech arms, and lines for under $1k. However I would spend maybe alittle more and get the quicksand arms w/ whatever shock suits you and the cheapest lines you can fine.

I'll drink to that  .

  4. Like loco and duece said.... Confidence comes and goes, don't let your buddies talk you into shit that nobody has hit yet. That's a quick way to end up in ICU, I usually work up to jumps like duece said. Roll over it in 2nd, then hit it in the top of second, go to 3rd and then by the top of 3rd I can scale most jumps that I want to hit. Somedays I'm feeling my oats and I'll hit everything first, bust off tricks and ride one handed wheelies...... then the next day I just ride......

what do u mean, each shock as a rezzie

Like have one rezzie as a piggy back on left and right side and have another rezzie on each side as a remote rezzie

    :jesterlaugh: ...... I ain't ever seen a quad shock w/ 2 rezzy's per side.

A Retrosexual man doesn't need electric start, reverse, or slow ass 4 strokers

    LMFAO AMEN!!!

A Retrosexual man don't need no stinking loading ramps either. You grab that shit, hike it up on the tail gate, grab the rear tire, lift that bitch in. He also likes the smell of axle grease, old used up axle grease, gasoline, premix, exhaust fumes especially those made by race gas, and decorates his christmas tree with Craftsman sockets and NGK spark plugs. :headbang::headbang:

He knows how to fix a barbeque when it won't light, and he can clean it with a hammer and a common screw driver because he don't need no god damn Soft Scrub and a sponge.

Is that octane 93 youre wearin????

Retrosexual men drink beer.....BEER AND WHISKEY. We like to get loud, and make shit go fast... even better if it's fast AND loud  . September through January sunday becomes the national day of "leave me the f*ck alone the games on".... the rest of the year it's reserved for recooping and fixing shit that you tore up on friday and saturday night.

  7. fmf fatties

would rasiing the needle do anything

and is +4 to much or to little?

The +4 is fine for all around riding.... it'll be ok to run pump gas w/ the 21cc dome+the port. Now to the real problem... I run 310mains on my bike w/ fatty's, K&N, and reeds. I believe that a mild port job requires about 1-2 sizes up on the main. I won't and never have touched the needle on my 'shee.

  8. My brother rebuilt the engine on are bike and wanted me to ask how to disconnect the tors system from the ignition. Or something like that. I will call him for more details if needed.

Basically, unplug the white triangle plug thats under the left side of the gas tank. then unplug the plug that's in the parking brake and follow it down to the left side of the radiator and unplug that.

You can buy a tors eliminator kit that will have new caps and the necessary stuff to put in idle screws if you want that, but I ran my shee for a year without it, no probs.

    "TALK TO ME GOOSE!!!"

"You're so drunk that you're seein doubles"....

"Well I gots two guns.... one for the both of ya"

"Somebody's gonna have to go back and get ALOT of dimes!!!"

  10. First things first:

Quicksand +2+1 a-arms(550$+shipping); TOP NOTCH!!! Great communication, makes the stockers look like there made out of coors light cans. They mounted up almost perfectly (my frame is a little out banghead ), I have my front rims flipped on top of the +2 a-arms so my front end is right around 50'' wide  . These plus the elkas makes my 'shee handle ungodly... the faster I go the more it works.

Elka's Rebuild service/shocks(285+shipping); I'm not gonna run there name down b/c of my experience w/ them but I'm less than pleased of the turnaround time and the way I was treated. When my shocks came in once of the rezzy hoses wasn't buckled down all the way and there was fluid leaking out  .... It wasn't that much so I mounted them up anyway.... on to the good stuff. This was the funnest ride I've had on my 'shee since I first bought it. They hit my riding style dead on.... I romped off a 5ft tall ledge at my riding spot and it was like landing on pillows (also thanks to the derisi racing rebuild)which leads to the next section....

Derisi Racing Rear Shock Rebuild(215$+shipping); Extremely nice guy to bullshit with, the total turn around time including shipping was 3 1/2 weeks. He completely re-worked my back shock... ssd style. My backend used to sit 3-4'' higher than the front now it sits dead nut even.

I'm sure i've left some of the details out so if anybody has some questions just hit me up.

    Mike
