    Hey Mike I see you live in Van Alstyne. I live just South of Princeton. My dad had said something before about seeing a track or something up there. I can't always go on what he says and was wondering what you know?

    You got: Badlands in celeste, barnett's in sherman, greenville mx in well.. greenville, village creek by sundance square in ft. worth, murray, red river, rocky ridge, muenster, nacona mx in nacona and my house. That's every where to ride within 100 miles of me.

  16. low end power of Rocket Pipes

    Has anyone here ran the t-5's or t-6's and swaped to the rocket pipes?  I am thinking about swaping, but I like the low end I get with the T-5's.  Do the rocket's have compairable low end to the T-5's or are they just a high RPM pipe?

    That's funny I've never heard/witnessed about any kinds of low-end outa the T5's..... they're a top-end pipe. Basically any other pipe besides cpi's or a drap pipe is gonna have more low-end....Especially the rockets.

    Right now you have more thean enough power to get you through the woods.... now you need a machine that can get your through faster. I would start making chassis mods b4 I did anything else to the motor (well a shaved head or cool-head wouldn't hurt). Depening on how wide your woods are (which if your hittin 3rd and 4th there prolly not very tight) get you a set of +1 or +2 a-arms, some good shocks, -2 arm, anit-vibe steering stem and a tougher axle. What about your tires?? You still running on the stock shits?

    you would would be shocked how little any female gives two shits about what you can do on a quad. I don't think any woman ever has been impressed by how far somebody could wheelie on anything. It is just a formula for disaster, someone trying to show off for a girl and in the end they just end up laughing at you because you wrecked right in front of them. Trust me on this one, my woman rides and she just really is thinking inside her head everytime somebody tries to pull off a stunt < "god I hope you wreck, you would look like such a tool" I am not trying to bring you down or anything, women do not really give a shit about this stuff; you may think that they do, but they don't.

    Shit man... the ladies just drop the panties when they see the front tires 'skyin on the big red.

    Go to the images section and click on "sand sports supershow" I bet it will have everything billet there is for 'shees in there. I run the boyesen rad valve in my 'shee.... I HEARD that the v-force gives a little more power but have yet to see it in real life. :dance: .

     

     

    BTW: I wouldn't go w/ billet side cases unless your bike is a duner or a trailer queen.

    New to the boards ... just picked up a used 03' Banshee. I have a few questions I hope some can answer. First, I was looking into getting the FMF Fatty pipes, but I'm confused on what Silencer to get. I dont want it to be too quiet. I want it to have some nice sound when I'm on it! Any suggestions on (TurbineCore 2, PowerCore 2 or Titanium 2 silencer? Second, my kickstarter rattles like crazy when riding. Is this fixable? Will Yamaha do it? Last, the sides of my engine has alot of wear on it (next to the foot brake and shifter) Is it possible to get another side engine part? I just want my bike to look a little bit cleaner. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

    1st off welcome to the site..

     

    I run pc2's on my fatty's.... sounds good to me and everybody I ride with. It's not raspy, smooth sound (my girl says it sounds like a ferrari sometimes <_< ). Pretty much all of fmf's stuff sounds about the same.

     

    Kickstarter: Easy fix... do a search click on my assistant then search for rattling kickstarter*

     

    Engine cases: Do you want stock or aftermarket? If you want aftermarket you can get CHROME :headbang: or polished aluminum it's gonna run you about 200$ a side though.

    Id start with a -2 cut on the swingarm and a set of good tires..holeshots or razrs

    I wouldent get a -2 if your going to be hillshooting....and you cant climb crap with stock tires I got stuck so many times on a slop a 50 can get up...its just the loose rocks.I love my Holeshot XR's :rolleyes:

    Tell that to meat, myself, duece, boonie or banchetta.... we all run -2 arms and climb like goats :dance: . It's all in the approach... you approach the hill spinning... you'll spin even faster backwards down the hill.
