  1. No they couldn't tell me wherre to get ball joints from.... they are older then those. I sent them a picture and they said they were made by them.. but no clue where to get ball joints from. And they don't carry them. But they aren't the straight style like they. They actually screw into the bottom arm, and the top does the same but it is adjustable throught a bolt off the housing. Back to the hunt i guess.

That's fuckin retro... did you ask to talk to mark? The owner of the company will know where he gets the fucking parts... i've met mark laeger at a couple races... talked to me like he'd known me his whole life..

  2. I'm permanately barred from baylor medical center if Garland, TX ... My pops was in there for a knee replacement.. left him in the stretching machine for 2 hours longer than he should... nobody came to check...nobody would answer the fuckin call button.... ended up re-tearing some shit and almost losing his leg.... he had to crawl outa bed... find my cellphone and call the house.... I was the first one to come in his room for almost 5 hours... If the cop wasn't cool I would've ended up with terrostic threat and criminal tresspassing charges... You DO NOT FUCK WITH A MAN'S FAMILY... Especially his pop's there's an un-spoken bond that goes deeper than anything you could ever explain... I feel for you James....

  4. Aftermarket axle and rear shock revalve still to come. Maybe later ill go with a -1 or -2 swingarm also. I pretty much gave up on the whole gncc thing its mx all the way now.

Go with the -2.. especially with the extended front end.. you won't regret it...

  5. age really has no factor in how i judge someone . I think everyone should be given a second chance to redeem themselves . Im not the type of person to hold a grudge on anyone who is trying to better themselves or there banshee . If you can act mature or carry a decent conversation then i belive you are OK in my book ...

For once I actually agree with you chase..... You don't know how many times i've been shit on in the business world just b/c the fact i'm 20....

  6. New Elka Rear Setup may be just what I need to replace my TCS. Elka Makes the best Shock Bodies and offer the most adjustability.

Elkas are a badass shock if they're built by the right guy.... If you want shocks built right from elka Eric is your man...

  7. Money isn't an issue. In your opinion, who makes the best rear shock for a Banshee? I'm not interested in cancelling the Elka front setup order (sports&racing series). I will be riding tight trails/swamps 80%, woods 18% and track 2% of the time. I won't be doing any big jumping. I don't know enough about suspension to have a ton of adjustments available, nor do I want to play around all day trying to "dial it in". Thanks!!!

IMO... PEP, Axis and Ohlins (In that order) are the best shocks money can buy... wayne at pep is a fucking genious when it comes to valving.. thus the reasoning for a 6month waiting list for them... Elka has been slipping hardcore the last couple years on there valving but precision concepts or mark baldwin at baldwin motorsports can solve that... If all your doing is trails and swamps you need to do alot of adjusting... just alot of oiling and cleaning... I haven't had to deal with axis since they moved to PA and became more of a penske enterprise... rumor has it there customer service isn't the same as it use to be...

http://www.precisionconceptsracing.com/Pre...on_content.html ... Good prices... great people...

  8. Yes, he said it was a new rear link and he mentioned long travel. I wish I could've understood all of his information. He spoke to me in his language as opposed to mine....LAMEN! I thought

I'd pass it on and those of you who are mechanically inclined could seek more information from Elka. At this point in my re-discovered (childhood/teenage years) pasttime (hard to find a good place to shoot all of my toys in NJ), I have more money than brains!!! :ermm:

I reccomend something other than elka.. like tcs or axis... the fox floats are badass too... tell me how much you want to spend and I'll give you some options... it's gonna run you at least 2g's to put a good setup under your bike...

  9. It all rocked but after drinking all day I would have had a good time at a barry manilow concert. Distirbed really rocked System put on a good show also about 90 minutes of rock cant beat it.

That's almost how I felt after edgefest... double fisting beers for 10 hours in the 100 degree heat will take it right out of ya...
