    If you're gonna be fucking around in creek beds and trails I wouldn't suggest anything smaller than a 20'' on an 8'' rim...... klaws are bad ass tires.... everybody on here that runs them swears by them. I run 20x11x10 razrs, wish I would've gone with a 9'' rim. It's been almost 2 years of HARD riding and there still 75%left.

    The axle is a good choice... don't know if I'd go with durablue if I was buying new though, but to each there own. Hell you might even want to look into a -2 or -1.5 swingarm... it would be the shit for your type of riding.

    You are on your way to having one badass machine.... those are all great mods (especially the arms and shocks). What kind of riding will you be doing? If your duning get you some cpi's or t-5s.... mx or woods get you some fatty's, ptr-mids, lrd's or pro-circuits or rockets. Don't forget the ass-end either... still can mod the swingarm, axle and back shock, which reminds me.... what kinda tires you running?

     

    All the engine builders I've talked to said fatty's/ptr-mids kick ass with a mx port.

    The "R" stands for resistor which protects the plug against from electrical currents that come from lamps or some shit.... pretty much useless. I run the ngkbr8iex... It's an iridium plug, starts easier, burns a hair hotter and expensive as f*ck to boot.

    You guys are all freaking wrong. 

     

    Go with Yosh.  They produce the best engine mods for the 400.  Yoshimura has done extensive testing on the 400 quad and the motor that the quad was derived from.  You won't go wrong, plus you can buy their pipes with three different materials to fit your budget, but they all work the same, just weight savings.

    Ya, and make sure to ask for the anodized hydraulic muffler bearings.

    If you set it in at 1/4'' with zero weight on the bike, think how tight that fucker would get when you set on it... much less do any jumping. I set mine in at around 1/2-3/4'' of free play with my buddie sittin on the grab bar (so the suspension is almost fully loaded).

    I don't ever see myself selling my shee. Lost a few girlfreinds to her..but I don't care. You can't throw the girlfreind in the shed and forget about her then expect to ride the shit out of her a few weeks later then throw her back in the shed again...but then again if i sunk the time and..Getting off topic.I once gave up gettin laid to go riding..That's dedication.

    i aslo want to let you know. that some people who replyed to your post are not thinking obejectivly. they speek by personal experience. witch may not be good for your situation. but i think you see that my advise is true advise and you shouldnt call it quits with your girl just yet. i some times forget how sensitive people are to words some times. they take things persnally . if you dont have any understanding then words are just means of comunication. but as i showed you there is a lot more than just the words or actions this girl is trying to say. your the man of the house. i would say a little more but i think you might be a little sensitive to words also if you needed to come here and post personal problems. wich isnt a bad thing, because if you love this girl you just found the information you were looking for. but if you want to know " the sercret power of words" let me know. i will """"""show"""""""" you everything i know.

     

     

    i just wont tell you what i know, but i will have you understand what you want to know. im not bragging. im not god. im a conduite(sp?) of good. for God. LOL i dont wanna get too speritual for ya. that it. :clap: just PM me.

    You could also shit in one hand and wish in the other too see which one fills up the fastest but it don't mean it's a good idea.

    I think the Yoshimura 450 kit for the Z400 is the talk of the enthusiast world.

     

    From what I've noticed all the z400 owners claim that kit is the one that "can destroy the yfz450" They don't talk a whole lot about banshees at atvconnection (where I spend my time considering I'm not lucky enough to own a banshee yet)
