1. My New Custom Creations Arms seem to fit, I can't wait to test tehm out but I might have to wait till october, I have sceen other A-arms that look like they would have hit even worse.

I dunno about TCS being the only company who cares, I got just as good of customer service from elka whowere working with me to change to shorter resevoirs because of my problem.  But it was better and cheaper to just change -arms.  I'm not to happy with TCS at the moment but perhaps if I bug them enough they will fix my rear shock.

And I Disagree with the 450 doing everything better than the banshee other than going in a straight line...Maybe on a track but the dunes are another story.

A dual rate or self sagging spring on the stock size banshee rear shock would likely just make the rider lose even more travel but would likely be beneficial for an MX track, however a 450 would be better suited for that kind of racing.

I had a terrible experience with elka... I don't feel like going into it on here but i'd fill you in via pm if you want... I tend to forget about the dunes.. closest ones are 6 hours away..... I'd like to see some pics of your bike again justin.. I forgot what it looked like..

  2. Ha, the above post is a very good example of you "running your mouth."

By the looks of that little rant, you can't be more than 9 years old LOL!

Perhaps that is why you want me to drive to you. Because 9 year olds can't drive huh?

  3. Well, I don't live in Missouri. I will be driving to Missouri to race a few people that were down at (The Clash of the Titans) as well as a few regular drag racers. I'm just giving anyone that wants a chance to back up what they are saying an invitation.

I will have the (Big Green Rubber Band Machine) with me, also known as the KFX400 KILLER!

  4. Come to tx... Meet me at village creek mx.. If I lose i'll pay your gas.. plus 200$... If i win.... which I will.. I'll ask nothing of you... FUCK IT.. Meet me a drag strip, trails, hillclimb, dunes you pick your poison..... I'm sick of your fucking attitude... If you beat me.. YOU CAN KEEP MY QUAD ... don't be scared.. It's only a 450...

Do you feel like a big shot that your 550lb 700cc quad can take a kfx400? Why don't play with somebody your own size.. Like a scrambler or a grizzly...

  5. Somebody on here way back in the day had axis all the way around... hell I think it was walt.... I'm sure walt wouldn't run a single rate rear with as much as he knows about suspension... If todd can make the banshee rear a dual spring than anybody can... I argued with derisi about that for a good hour one day.. it can be done but it just doesn't look like it can b/c the rear shock is so damn short...

  6. And if you REALLY want it to run, send the head to this guy for some work.  I wouldn't vouch for someone unless I KNEW their deal and this guy is KING when it comes to the TRX and CRF heads, or any head for that matter.  Let him port it and put in some nice Kibblewhite SS valves with a Hotcams Stage 2 and you'll be humming, I guarantee, and for less than what a "bigname" builder will do it for  He's also designed some killer pistons, some high comp. and some pump gas pistons that will work really well on that bike.

He built and designed the infamous PulseCharger exhaust and has loads of experience working on these and other motors, including YFZ's, and LTZ's, not to mention, one of the first to do his deed on a new LTR.

Email him through here.  Mixxer.  In fact, I'd sign up, PM him and tell him that I sent you, that would work better.

  7. Ha, on what? So you have a kfx400 huh?

hahahahahahah, The only thing you can run is your mouth!!!!

The KFX400 is an entry level quad just like the blaster. I think they have about the same HP.

  8. ECATV is selling a  used rear Axis on ebay right now.  I was gonna bid on it but then I saw its only comp. adjustable.  Called axis up and its gonna be like $500+ to respring/revalve for my weight/swingarm and swap it over to dual adj.  I can get a rear axis dual adj. for $710 brand new so that rules that out.

    Here's the Link!

    494205

I'd buy it for that price... The way my rear link is setup on the hybrid, the rebound is valved into the shock already.. b/c at the time by quad was built JRD wasn't making LT swingarms... it's a LT type link setup.. gained about 2'' of travel over stock.... IMO the average rider can't even take full advantage of the rebound adjust anyway... unless your blasting through stuff at 4th gear plus, you wouldn't ever notice...

On a good note.. that shock is coming from a reputable shop.. so the hit n miss theory is out the window :headbang: ... ECATV built my hybrid...

EDIT: I breezed right past the part where it said it was a single rate.... fuck that..

  9. Damn.. I had derisi redo mine for something like 345$... I can't really remember since it was 3 years ago.... That seems kinda exspensive  ... I bought a whole new rear elka from scott for 400$... Used shocks are reallly hit and miss though.. it's best off to know somebody that is pulling there's off... not too sure if I'd chance it on ebay...

    Mike

  10. Ha, shows what you know. The KFX700 weighs 516 lbs.

Have you ever rode one?  Perhaps you should do a bit of research before running your mouth and making yourself sound uneducated.

    494074

+ oil+ coolant+fuel... Guess it'd still be 515 if you took the tires off.... I can drive 10 mins and right one anytime I want...
