  1. I may know someone who'll jump on those CPI's, so I'll find out and get back to you. Scott
  2. I think we should rename it "Hair Pie Scramble" but that's just me.
  3. Is that shipped? If so, I just might send you some money tonight. Scott
  4. It'll probably be the xc course with a little bit of mx at the end of the lap. I've never ridden there but I might need to get up there to ride some first. RNBRAD, lets meet up there and ride, if you don't mind hangin with a honda... You too Banshee.
  5. So your going to MMI huh? Nice, AZ is cool and there's loads of hot chicks. You have to go to Glamis regularly and Havasu for spring break. Kick it on over to Tempe for some snobby college girls who won't look at you, let alone talk to you and then head to south phoenix to get your jollies off. If your really special, Van Buren St is the place to be.
  6. I'd go to Lonestar for a-arms. There are quite a few others, but I'm not sure how many of them make long travel for the banshee, but I'd most definitely go the extra mile for the longer travel if your desert racing. Houser is good, Quicksand is good, but they're more duning than racing, there's a bunch of mfg's. ARS/FX, JRD, the list keeps going. I'd give TCS Racing a ring for your shock needs, www.tcsracing.com. He's pretty amazing with his shocks setup, plus his prices are a little more affordable over the big buys. But, you can't go wrong with Axis, Elka, TCS, Ohlins, they're all good, just be sure to get the valving right. Todd @ TCS is a master in the valving, just be specific with what you want. Let us know what other questions you have. Scott
  7. thanks, would you expect anything different?? j/k
  8. when you moving to stillwater?? wonder how far that is from the tx border?
  9. Desert Racing. good mid-high port job with a set of T5's long travel front end a must for high speed desert +2 swinger with long travel linkage skid plates a must oversize fuel tank a must oversize radiator is a good idea Noss-type head for compression and coolant flow Beadlocks and tires stainless brake lines First thing I'd do is get the front suspension and a rear shock, along with the portwork and pipes. Then, gear up and that'll get you rolling soft and fast. Then as you can, add in the other pieces. There's a million other things, but that's a good general start.
  10. Heck, I didn't know you could do that in AZ.
  11. rules and regs vary state by state. it's best to contact your local DMV. The reason you typically need three wheels is because a 3-wheeler is considered a motorcycle, so it falls under their regs. If it's a 4-wheeler, typically it'll fall under the class of an auto, where seatbelts and all that auto crap would be necessary (and impossible) so that wouldn't work. Just the little bit of info I've heard. Scott
  12. Ricky Stator has a damn good coil. That's what I'd buy if I needed a new one.
  13. what do you want for the cpi's outright?
  14. The 35mm will work fine on the stock motor. You'll probably want to change the needle to a slightly richer taper (due to the low vacuum) but it will work fine. I ran my 35mm on the stock ports for over a year, perfectly. Great low/mid and a very smooth powerband.
  15. If they're not sold, let me know. I'd like an image. sredish@direcway.com
  16. Nice... I already got the money. Sorry bout that, or I'd have taken your offer. Scott
  17. I really don't feel like going into that again...
  18. I'll take it, that is if I can put two more tires/wheels on it... whatchuthink?
  19. where in alaska specifically? I absolutely love alaska. it's clean, clear and the people are great. there's a million things to do and the outdoor life is endless. your sled will perfect to take with you.
  20. There's actually no reason to even reply to that statement.
  21. Your not sure of the size of the jets in the carb? Man, who did your jetting, or did you just throw it in and go? Is it a wet bog, sputtering or just falling flat? What is the throttle position that this is happening at? You need to find out the jets that are in there and get back to us. Also, reat the Troubleshooting your Jetting thread at the very top of this forum. Scott
