  1. The Afcos I run for TT on my honda are were valved perfectly and handle the track with ease. I picked them up for a steal also. They were slightly used, I then sent them to Afco for a complete rebuild and proper valving and I have a total of $260 in them. Sure, they're not Axis or PEPs but I can hang with any of them.
  2. May have to get over there and check that place out, doesn't look to extreme, and best of all, they allow quads... Yep, just might have to get over there sometime soon. Thanks for posting up. You gonna carry Honda stuff......
  3. I believe he's moving his buisiness to England, which sucks for us because he puts one helluva port on these cylinders.
  4. Whatup peeps, nice new look here. Thanks for the happy birthdays and yes, damn near 30. Dale, do you still ride..... j/k, we need to hit it up sometime. Hondas running good for those that are interested. She's pushing right between 54 and 55 in the hp dept., depending on the weather and now I'm working on the wife's bike. Brooke, we need to get together and make up for lost time.... :baseball_whistle:
  5. Two L7's? WIth ease and then some. You'd want the total load to be 2 ohms, so you'd want Dual-2 ohm subs. With the 2 ohm load, each sub would easily see over 800 watts RMS, probably closer to 875. Remember, that's EACH. Talk about some thump. I was going to power 3 JL 10w6's and the way I had it set, each sub would see about 500 watts. So, that's one mono amp giving 500 watts to three subs. Very powerful.
  6. I have 3 Fosgate amps for sale. All 3 I got new from my insurance company when my truck got broken into. 2 are new, 1 is absolutely barely used, like a couple hours only. They've been pulled from factory box and shrinkwrap for installation. The 2 new ones were just too big to fit where I wanted them to go, so back in the box they went. The 3rd just went in long enough for the amp I really wanted/needed to come in. Here are the amps: Team RF X7 - This amp is a freaking subwoofer's nightmare. 1750 watts mono at 2 ohms. The birthsheet on this amp shows it's tested (underrated) at 1750 watts x 1 @ 2 ohms. SERIOUS POWER! We're talking one amp to power 4 subs or annihilate 2 huge 15's or just imagine the possibilities. 7. damn, i live far away in texas, but I'm in a hotel tonigh on Mountain Grove, pretty close. I'd have brought cash, had I known....
  8. normally, I'm always down for a Murray or Muenster ride, but I'm Dynamatting my truck this weekend, won't be able to do it.
  9. Pilot may be a tad rich and I'm sure it's a DEK needle. An EEK would work best, and I'd just go for it for now with the 190 main, may end up at 188 or 185.
  10. 185 main jet. EEK needle in the 3rd or 4th clip and either a 45 or 48 pilot. You'll need to run plug checks afterwards to confirm the 185 main jet. May need to up or down a tad, but that should work.
  11. hell, I don't even consider that sex, more like a coffee break.
  12. yea, I can PROVE that I've had sex at least twice..... not pointing this at any direction, but someone once told me something that made such perfect sense... "Never argue with an idiot, because they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."
  13. have you ever had it on the dyno? the numbers you posted for a stock bike... ~50hp, where did you get these? I would put money down that this is the motor's power but not power to the ground. that cvt tranny is a power sucking unit, i'd be surprised if it put 43 down to the wheels, and your giving us a 5 hp "range" of where your machine is. some people spend thousands to get that last 3 to 5 horse, so to just say... aaah 65 to 70 is ridiculous. I had a buddy do all his mods and was sure, and in theory, it added up that his 450r was putting down 50 and he hit like 45, so just goes to show you what happens when you "guesstimate" based on mods. if you have a dyno sheet of your machine, then you wouldn't be ranging and you'd have a sheet to show us. without a true dyno sheet, you have no clue how that dalton is working, how it's tuned, blah blah.... get it on the dyno, then spout off numbers.
  14. typically, if your going to overrev that motor, you'll want to put in stronger, dual-spring valve kits to keep from floating a valve. I really doubt it'll be much issue with a stock cam, but if you bump the rev up with a larger lift cam, it is possible to float a valve and *SMACK* right into the piston, but I'm highly doubting it'll really happen unless you just have a sick cam in there. However, Honda is including it in the HRC kits for the TRX, so I doubt I'd worry too much. Not sure how much the TRX revs compared to the CRF. The CRF might rev higher from the factory, but not sure.
  15. I have to ask who really gives a fuck if this guy can whoop up on a KFX400 with his 700. Let it frickin go. Yea, we're all a bunch of pussies because we're not online masturbating with you and your green ox.
  16. not taking sides, but crf hybrids can be wicked fast. i wouldn't be so quick to say it'd be no match, unless you have some SERIOUS work done to the 700. Generally, it's not too hard for them to push 55hp and a 55hp 4 stroke can usually make a 65hp 2 stroke look silly.
  17. nowadays, damn near any quad can be made to run. 400's, 700's and so on. Bone stock for bone stock, a 700 may take a 400. You'd god damned hope so, it's almost TWICE the cc's. The sad thing is, I bet it wouldn't be by much. Sure, you can throw in a clutch kit and a pipe and make the 700 quick, but you can also throw in a Yosh 450 kit in the KFX and make it a fast runner. I'd pick the 400 any day over the 700. The 700 is too big, too heavy and it's a boat on friggin wheels barrelin down the deal. Only place I may rather have one is out in the dunes. Also, 400's are not for beginners. True, there may be some people who buy a 400 due to not being totally ready for a bigger quad and there may be some women who get them due to their size, but they're far from a beginner bike and they're NO friggin blaster. Lets take the EX. The EX frame is damn near identical to the 450R frame. Are you saying the 450r a beginner bike as well? I'll put a fucking stomp on any 700 that wants to come and play with my 450 and don't think I won't, hell throw the DS in there as well, since you like big quads. I'm not trying to put down the 700, but since you threw it in the mix, I'm just stating the truth and just because you have a 10mil Banshee doesn't mean every quad should be the same to be considered a "man's" quad.... please..... I just wish I had a KFX400 with a kit in it cause it'd put an ass spanking on the 700, unless there's something about the 700 your not telling us. hell, i'd give you a 50' start (for the # of cc's I'm over 400) on a 300' drag with my little Honda.
  18. And if you REALLY want it to run, send the head to this guy for some work. I wouldn't vouch for someone unless I KNEW their deal and this guy is KING when it comes to the TRX and CRF heads, or any head for that matter. Let him port it and put in some nice Kibblewhite SS valves with a Hotcams Stage 2 and you'll be humming, I guarantee, and for less than what a "bigname" builder will do it for He's also designed some killer pistons, some high comp. and some pump gas pistons that will work really well on that bike. John Ziehl Entiat , WA. He built and designed the infamous PulseCharger exhaust and has loads of experience working on these and other motors, including YFZ's, and LTZ's, not to mention, one of the first to do his deed on a new LTR. Email him through here. Mixxer. In fact, I'd sign up, PM him and tell him that I sent you, that would work better.
  19. Sorry you were having trouble with your bike. that sucks. You get it fixed up yet? I didn't get mine really ripping until Saturday. I wasn't getting good pulls out of the hole on Friday much due to figuring out that clutch in the sand. Ended with 2nd gear starts, clutchin the hell out of the Rekluse. I may have been starting 2nd that Friday and hitting 3rd when you saw me, not sure. But once I shifted, the tires quite spinning and it did start shooting a lot harder. Thank god for LSPS or I wouldn't have been riding due to a f'ed up K&N filter when I got there. I bet they make the bucks. Cool guys, we'll mix it up out there sometime.
  20. very sweet bikes, super strong, can be made ungodly strong and are perfect for super moto bikes. motor-wise, it's simple, much simpler than the RM and YZF counter parts. pick it up before it's gone.
  21. What day was that, remember? I'm trying to think when/where it was? Normal strip or when we all went over the hill to the smoother strip? Friday morning, I couldn't get my clutch to engage right and wasn't coming out of the hole very good. Anyways, yea, we'll catch up. I could've went down there just as easy....
  22. Use Rotella 15/40. It has a perfect shear rating for wet clutch trannies. I've been running it in ALL my wet clutch trannies for a while now and I've talked to several professional oil doods that ride and have pointed me in that direction as well.
