  1. Use the B8ES/BR8ES for jetting. Don't use a cheap lawnmower plug or something, I've seen plenty of guys doing that. Thats the standard plug for the banshee and will give you good accurate readings. Any different than that, and you could be getting wrong readings, or something weird. You need to use what is recommended for the bike. Other than that, have at it, and good luck.
  2. Yep, what the title said? Any dates, don't matter. I just don't have anyone to go up there with.
  3. just have him use shee arms and adjust accordingly for the length and backset.
  4. hmmm. sounds interesting. never heard of them. try 'em out and see how they work.
  5. FMF makes a silencer called the Q. Its a quiet spark arrestor that supposed ot "retain optimum flow". Should fit onto your pipes, or use it with the FMF SSTs, or Fatties if your budge isn't huge.
  6. yep, don't know how we got off course. Before I switched plugs, the set I was on was at least 5 months old. They didn't need changing, I just switched to the Iridiums to try them out.
  7. ha ha, whats up rookie? we'll just refer to you as the has been. yeah, i don't know what happened.
  8. ok martial law. so the guy typed in mm instead of cal. I've been around plenty long enough not to need shooting lessons from some guy on the internet. I live on 200 acres and was f*cking around on my ranch. If I want to shoot at my pond from 40 yards, I guess I can. I don't know if I have more fun using the ruger .45 or the glock .40, or maybe my old outdated colt. I think if I actually wanted to hit one, i'd either get closer, or pull out my browning.
  9. Forgot to say thanks holyman, for the detailed response. That's exactly what I was looking for. Don't know why I didn't think of searching for it.
  10. Yup, an all black Ruger. You mean a... Thats it! I love it. Yep. My baby is a glock .40 caliber. I tried to hit the geese on my pond with it, but I didn't hit any. I was about 40 yards away.
  11. Bigwill, I was trying to figure out a way to get a banshee on there. I just got the contact page up also.
  12. if you strictly mx, then do it. if you trail ride, don't. you'll be dirty, muddy, and whatever else the elements are that day.
  13. Yep, I tivo that program every week. I have it on the system now. I saw it, and wondered why he didn't roost big for the camera. Nice grill and bumper. I also feel it's about time for the banshee to make an appearance somewhere. The latest ATV action says something like the "ultimate high perf shootout" and is testing the baddest high perfs by all manufactureres. But, hmm, no banshee. I believe it is still made (sarcasm), but it's not in the shootout. How big is Dirt Dogs? They said it was like 200 acres and I was thinking about making a trip down there. My wife doesn't like to ride where its busy and I thought that place might be kinda small and not a whole lot of trails, but I don't know.
  14. I have the home page up for my company website. Take a look and tell me what you think. Nothing fancy, just a normal home-built website. Thanks led and efward for getting me started in the right direction. Redish Construction The 4 pictures at the very top were sharp and clear when I set it up, but when it posted, they were not very clear and sort of "digital" looking. Not sure why.
  15. Yep, they're a slightly older model. Very good pipes though, I ran that model pipe on my old 250r.
  16. Stage 3 means pretty extensive to me. If you have pretty extensive port work, then the smallest I'd go on duals is 30mm. I'd say more like 34mm for pretty extensive port work. For mild/moderate portwork maybe 30's is about right. I think it also depends on personal taste quite a bit. From 30mm to 34mm, I doubt you could go wrong. Also, I don't remember the portwork, I probably wouldn't have recommend a single 35mm if I knew there was portwork. I'd run a single 35 with very mild porting, but thats it. Any more, and its back to duals.
  17. Get a pro design pro-flow kit, with your choice of a foam Uni or K&N. They breath good and are more stable than the stock mount.
  18. I'm trying to remember. I believe I have the oring style seal on the manifold. I guess I'm unsure what the "new" style is. I haven't had any problems, and I've checked a few times for leaks around the boots on the carb and the manifold. I've been using it for about a year. Scott
  19. I know that, but the FMF rad valves were nothing more than stock ported cages with fmf reeds.
