  1. Have to be honest. The Ricky Stator looks like it's right up my alley. What is their warranty? On the carrier, if I can, the stock would be good for a little while, however I will be saving for a new carrier. What is preferred in the carriers, dual row, round? Magic has dual row for $170. Scott
  2. just remove the key and unplug. route the wires to the tether switch and use to wire up that switch.
  3. I've been wanting to get a new axle. +2 is what i want. I've read every article about axles and summed up that LSR is what you guys like. A friend is a "don't get lonestar, get durablue" kinda guy. I don't really care, and I'm not really looking for another debate post. What I do want to know is where is the best place to buy axles? Also, money is kinda tight, so do I need to replace the carrier now, or can I get buy with the stock carrier, and what exactly will be needed for a complete replacement? What's the best process to remove the old and install the new axle? I wasn't really wanting to bust 3 bills if possible. Thanks for your help.
  4. Draw your conclusion from this: Banshee Reliability
  5. It also helps to have IMS in your back pocket.
  6. i feel the same. if you dune and/or drag that would be a good setup, loads of top end, but your low end will suffer. that will work well with the t5s in the sand. wouldn't be too much air, but like it was said, your low end will suffer and your top end will rip. don't think you'll have any idle issues.
  7. The receiver in my truck plays mp3s and wmv's. I thought I'd start converting to see how it was. The files are bigger and the sound quality isn't as good. Not sure what your using it for but I thought I'd post that. Scott
  8. Here's more than enough info to keep your eyes off the porn tonight. Jetting
  9. they're more or less the same plug, the insulator is a "racing style" on the egv, but I can't tell a difference.
  10. well, work your ass of and save up to pay cash. then everybody will think your the man for paying cash for shit.
  11. The PJ and PWK look similar. If you look on the front of the carb where the slide goes, the PJ is flat and the PWK has a hump. The PWM has a different top. The PWK is by far the most popular carb Keihen makes.
  12. I also run Castro at 40:1. I ran the Yamalube at 32:1 when i first got the machine.
  13. I know DirtGrrl has a set of 34's or 36's she will need to get rid of after this weekend. She to is getting a single carb setup.
  14. Sorry it's not any better. I'll get a better picture of the tires themselves, but this is all I had at the moment. I'll get a picture in the next twenty minutes. Here's a picture from a few weeks ago.
  15. For some dumb reason i was assuming the non a/s 35 like I got.
  16. Yeah, I got the 200w stator and timing plate for $185 + tax and shipping. Don't remember total amount. All it looks like is 2 more deals with copper around them, looks easy, just wear gloves.
  17. 35's would be wicked for a dune bike and a/s are the bomb. what kind of pipes are you running?
  18. Do you have a timing plate on the machine also? Make sure you run nothing but very premium gas, and that it's fresh.
  19. Maybe this will help. The most popular is the PWK. PWK PWM PJ Carb Parts Warehouse has exploded views, and dimension diagrams on there for all the keihen carbs. Go there and look to see what carb that one looks like and take some dimensions and compare for the size. Or call them, and they can probably reference the numbers.
  20. I'm glad it worked out, now, when is it going to be installed so we know if it was worth it for you?
  21. i have a pair of stock fronts 21x7x10 off of my '01 that are at least 75%, probably a little more. i'd trade for those holeshot fronts very quickly. i can get my camera and take a pic, it's at home. i'll do it later.
