  1. Yeah, we have the Red River sand also, but as you know, it's not the same. I'm sure we'll hook up sometime for some roosting action.
  2. Take a shit in a bag, then dump it out in their mailbox and put the flag up.
  3. Yeah, it would take a very drastic difference to change the air/fuel mixture of the bike equal to that of a minor jetting change. Not too mention, your flirting with the lubrication of your engine, and that is not something you want to screw with. If your having that much trouble, get a "Dial-a-Jet" and eliminate the need for minor changes. It will give you adjustment equivalent to +10 on the main to -10 on the main with just the turn of a knob. Lots of adjustability, and not very expensive at all. Check Rocky Mountain ATV.
  4. Doesn't the current resale value of these machines make you all cozy knowing the amount of money we put into them? I'll never get my money back, guess I'll just have to ride the piss out of it.
  5. nope. the banshee is what it is till it's gone, which will probably be the '05 model year. I know there've been rumors of phasing out for awhile. A friend has connections to the factory and says they are stopping production in December and will sell all remaining inventory in '05. Will the banshee change? No.
  6. All I use is Engine Ice period. Really good shit. As far as how much, I don't have my manual here, but I can find out tomorrow if no one posts it. If you don't have one, the very first thing you should buy is a service manual for you banshee. It is imperative to have and you'll refer to it a hundred times a day, maybe only fifty if your not as dumb as I am. Get one on Ebay, or from your dealer, but you must get one.
  7. Led, wish I could help ya out, but I don't have much experience with the aftmkt plates. I just wanted to say congrats on posting in the wrong forum. Nah, just kidding, i'm a smartass, I know. Hope you get it running and keep us updated. Hell, post a soundclip when you get 'er going so we can here the sweet purr of the twins.

    Uni Filter

Hey Reas, I appreciate your opinion. Without people's opinion, there's nothing to base this info on, so it's well taken on my part. Same to the rest of you.
  9. What a bitch. Go to My Webshots Page, and find the banshee and you can see them in there if you want. No prob.
  10. God forsaken TORS. That shit is evil. Better get some more info to us girl. We want pics of the donuts your pulling in the driveway.

Dunedemon, I like how clean that looks, very simple. I might go that route when I upgrade to my single 43mm after my portwork. Thanks for the opinions guys.
  12. Hmmmm, Led, you don't know what your getting yourself into. . Seriously, that's a great gesture and when that day comes, we'll give it a go, that is if you can let yourself.
  13. Yeah, they're still backordered. A friend just tried ordering. He went with my suggestion, the Barnett Dirt Digger. I also like those clutches and it's all I'll probably use, due to the good luck.
  14. Ok. I'm using webshots, and hope they come out. If not, here's the links. Banshee Pic 1 Banshee Pic 2
  15. Thanks for that tidbit. Sounds very interesting. You to Mullet.
  16. Yeah, if you want to NOT be able to ride it anymore.
  17. There isn't anyone posting, so I figured I'd throw one in. I see in a lot of the catalogs all the different clutch materials. Steel, Kevlar, and can't remember the others. What's the difference, some just wear better, or hook up better and wear out faster? I always run the Dirt Digger just cause I'm familiar with it. So, what's the skinny?
  18. The eliminator for $290 to my door. My friend has the x33 and the adjustment pins get wollared out. Is "wollared" a word? He loves the axle, just not the way it's adjusted. I didn't feel like messing with the adjustments that much. +2 and +4 is fine with me.

    Uni Filter

I've always like the uni, and I think it filters better, being that it's easier to clean, makes it easier to get it oiled right. I just didn't know if these K&N guys had something regarding the dunes. I'm keeping with my uni, because that's what I like and I don't want to change my flange. I just ordered a spare uni today, so I'm stuck now.
  20. Your screwed!! Actually, you can tell me how you like when you get yours...
  21. Rainbow sticker special, 2+2. The price was right. I don't know what to do on the swingarm. I'll probably wait a little longer. My friend has the +2 and I'd like to ride his before I buy, granted he's hitting 100 horses, so the apples to apples is out the window. I might try to find a -2 to ride in the meantime also.
  22. Unless your at a higher elevation, 3rd clip from the top/blunt end should work great, I've even got mine on the 4th and I don't really have too many mods. If it's higher than 1/4 throttle then your pilot might not do much. I'd check the needle. They're real easy to adjust so don't be afraid to richen and lean. The minimum I'd go is 3rd clip.
  23. WD40 is a great temporary spray. But after a little while, it will promote moisture and cause things to tighten. The very best spray to use as a long term lube is Silicone Spray Lube. The kind I use is made by Loctite. It keeps moisture out and lube in. I have a construction company and often times, people will call me regarding the barns i build and say they can't open the feed doors (it's a piano hinge). Well, they've been spraying WD40 in them and they loosen, but after a day or so, they become damn near unmovable, because moisture has gotten in there and locked it up. I will spray the silicone lube and they'll be perfect forever. I give them the spray bottle I take there so they can use it later. Great stuff.
