  1. get an EBC Dirtracer clutch. I ran the Dirt Digger and then switched to Dirtracer, and like it better.
  2. note to self : remember not to piss boonman off
  3. Whatup?? What are you needing?? Sherman, huh? Gotta hook up. Actually, I'm kinda partial to my rubbers, oh I mean tires.
  4. This ain't no new news. Bluetraxx has sucked for as long as I've know about it. I avoid that place like anthrax!
  5. CarbParts.com is a great place to go. They are very knowledgeable, easy to work with and can get you anything.
  6. Use "Neatsfoot Oil". I use it on my saddles, leather bridles and other leather crap I have around the ranch to soften. Works really good. Scott
  7. Damn damn!! I'd be there, however, I have a long time friend in town and will be in Dallas all weekend. I'll be back late Sun. night. Damnit, this always happens. Jen, we need to hook up and ride some. Let me know next time and I WILL be there. Scott
  8. Yep, go with the 30 and see how it runs. Your probably lean with the 25. Where is the needle position currently? Probably going to want it in the 4th clip from the top/blunt end. Try it out and get back. Later.
  9. Sprint Service - lots of minutes Samsung SPH-i500 (also a palm phone)
  10. Yeah, I'm sure your exactly right. And I understand, all mags do that; quad mags, jeep mags, off road mags. Guess they have to do whats new and cool.
  11. he's probably right, i run the .160s and had a light bump a couple weekends ago. I had to borrow his hammer to beat the living f out of my rim. After that, don't think I'd run anything but .190s, especially so you could use them off the sand if need be. Both my .160s are beat the hell up. Nice thing is, you can bend them back. Cost is minimal when deciding between the .125 and .190 wheels.
  12. what about your parking brake? still have it connected? if so, that will be a PITA, and will do the same as the TORS. You need to unplug from the lever and down beside the radiator.
  13. Don't get me started on Dirtwheels. It's a pretty good mag overall, but they are so lopsided on all the testing. It's always the new and fresh that make it big. They did a damned "Production quad" test a few issues back where they did an overall comparison on all high perf. quads still in production. However, THERE WAS NO BANSHEE!! What the f is up with that. Now I know that stock, the banshe may not have the susp. of the yfz or something, but nonetheless, put it in the f'ing mag. Compared to the quads out today, the Bansh would hand their ass on a plate. Maybe the YFZ is competitive. Just pisses me off.
  14. Well, I can't find anything else to add to that. Try exactly what BenBB said and you'll find harmony with the shee again. May peace be with you.
  15. that's why I didn't go. Now I wished I had, but probably more for the girls than the work. I got lucky to be able to run my own company where it hasn't hurt me, but I do actually wish I had some sort of degree, just for personal satisfaction. If I would have gone out of h.s., I would have been a serious f*ck up, instead, I learned the school of hard knocks, which is what I needed. Scott
  16. pro, novice, uuh what's all this about??
  17. yeah, i'm at 52 @ 600'. That should be much higher, start with a 60 and you may need to go up a little more or maybe a little lower. The needle should also be in the 4th minimum and probably 5th with your porting and all. Cheeze, check your pm.
  18. The ONLY better than a UPS man is a UPS chick. Where the hell are they at??? Oh man, I get all tingly when I see that brown van, i just know something good is in there. Hell yeah on that stand. That is nice as hell.
  19. actually, I'm a Brave's fan, have been since before Dale Murphy. But I haven't really been into baseball in a while, it's gotten so outrageous with the strikes, and the salaries. The f'ing players don't care anymore and I just can't get into it. I really only get into NCAA sports, I like the younger guys, they still have heart.
  20. sounds like you do need to richen the needle a little. move the needle one clip away from the blunt end. that will richen the mid mixture just a little and help the hesitation. when you add pipes that can be common, to need to richen the needles a little. Here's a chart to help you with the jetting circuits.
  21. Yep, tell us what your jetting is currently, and where it feels dull, or does it actually bog or anything, and if so, how far in is the throttle?
  22. Thanks evil, I will do that without a doubt, as I will be needing a lot of things in the next year or so. Just wish I knew before I bought my lift. Oh, who do I say sent me?
  23. Just to show you how different these bikes can run, my banshee with the mods below and stock carbs ran a 310 main, 27.5 pilot and 4th clip on the needle, and that's at 600'. The motor was more or less stock other than pipe, vforce reeds and a pro flow adapter and air box cut on the back. One can run 310 and the next just alike run a 260. Now I run a single carb and most run a 180 to 190 with similar mods, I'm running a 220. Go figure. That's why NO ONE can tell you the jetting, it all boils down to trial and error, everything else is just starting points. Glad it's running good now.
