  1. I'd pay also, no problem. What I would be concerned with is cutting off the outside. Sure we get some immature dickheads, more here lately, but there are also a lot of people that can share a light on something and would never make it in becuase not wanting to pay up front, or someone new to the banshee and wanting to learn and grow and never gets the opportunity. Sure I'd pay now, but before I ever made it in here, would I have paid without ever seeing it, probably not, well definitely not. I've learned so much from this place and never would have had the chance had Lee been asking me to front some dough to begin with. Now that I've been in here awhile and know what's here to see, hell yeah I'd pay. Lee wants this site to grow as we all should want it to grow, but I think it would turn this place into something different than what we like about it. Hope that's not too long and it's to the point. It may have already been said, don't know. I read the first few posts and just felt I needed to voice that right off the bat. Would I pay, just tell me how much.
  2. i'd say no. the fmfs are better with mods, and the t-6s are a bit overrated compared to the trusty t5s. the sst pipes are an overall pipe, good mid all the way through top, although not as peaky and on/off as the toomeys. take the extra cash you have and put it somewhere else and it will go farther for you.
  3. did someone say titty?? Hey, i'm in for some purty girl pics. Led, you get that carrier fixed up?
  4. doesn't really make sense that it's running hot on you because it's too rich, usually it'll run hot because it's too lean. First and foremost, to verify if your jetting is correct, do a plug chop. Check the Banshee Jetting FAQ for more info on how to perform a plug chop and all. After you read the plugs, then you'll know if it's the jetting or not. Your correct that it will be running richer as it warms up, but the richness will not cause it to overheat. If it's overheating, then you may have cooling issues to look at. Do you know what jets are currently in your carb? Scott
  5. Yep, I was at the dunes the other weekend. Shee was running great. We all stopped to take a break and afterwards, shee wouldn't start back up. It was running good so I was like WTF! Then I thought, if the pilot's clogged, then it should start by holding open the throttle, more or less, pulling fuel from another circuit. Tried it and she fired up first kick. Got back to camp, cleaned the jets out and you'd never know there was a problem. Moral of the story - starting problems are usually attributed to the pilot. If it's starting hard then look there.
  6. probably too rich. what do the plugs look like? as far as what area to tune, depends on the throttle position to tell you what jetting circuits were causing the sputter.
  7. try some 27.5 pilot and then play with your needle. you might try going up one on the needle, leaner 3rd from the top/blunt end and see if that helps.
  8. The radiators are generally twice the size of a stock radiator. An inline cooler can't even come close to comparing to that. An inline cooler may help lower by 5 or 6 degrees. The radiator will be much lower than that, and be a much more reliable cooling source. By far worth the money for a radiator. Wish I had one. If your having problems with cooling, running "Engine Ice" coolant will help lower temps more than you'd expect. You can get it at Rockymountainatv.com and some dealerships.
  9. you'll have to rejet it back down like before or you'll be super rich.
  10. quickest way to tell how your running is the ol' plug chop. you know, run 'er in 5th or 6th wide open and kill it with the throttle pegged, then see what the plugs look like. I'd do that before I go messing with the jetting. You could get her all screwed up for no reason when you might have a cooling issue. 330 could be pretty darn close with the clamp ons, maybe even on the rich side for 4200 feet, so I'd go check the plugs first. Let us know what you come up with, or even post a pic like Cheezehead did in the "Plug Chop" post.
  11. I like it. That's about how I run mine. Congrats on the 38mm single. I bet that a running sonofabitch. My longterm plan has a 38mm or 39mm in it. I'd like to know how it runs after you get her out some.
  12. it is simply a Keihen 35mm PWK carb. Go to CarbParts.com and click on Keihen, then on the Off Road link, or smaller links to the right regarding the specific parts and tuning. Anything that specifies PWK is what your after.
  13. Nope, not without some decent modifications.
  14. Looks like his damn heads about to pop off!! That pic gets funnier every time I look at it.
  15. The 2" shortened swingarm does like to come up in my opinion. I'm sure there are other who disagree. I'd imagine the -1" is pretty nice. Advancing the timing shouldn't raise the compression because your not changing anything in the combustion chamber. However, it will be more compressed at ignition, but the compression of the cylinder won't be affected. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Advancing the timing is a good bang for the buck, although, I've yet to do it, I'm stupid and lazy I guess. Lightening the flywheel is also a good mod, but I don't know much about it, other than letting it rev easier. Scott
  16. yeppers, the 2:1 carb is a great mx setup, no doubt!! also right on with the dual carb sizes. FoxBansheeRacing, you need to get your shee in on the Images section for the banner stuff, it looks sharp.
  17. new holland............as a proud farm owner and john deere owner, iv got to say the deere is best, nothing runs like a deere. Yep, my JD 5510 does me fine.
  18. I got first dibs on the swingarm and aarms if he parts it, which is exactly what I would do!! But before you go, can you load us up with more of your awesome girl party pics.
  19. Is that a Batman hat he's wearing??
  20. Damn, I wish more people would realize that. Couldn't have said it better myself.
  21. Damn your wife noticed that. I could change the color of my plastics to pink and my girlfriend woudn't notice.(no interest) yeah, i've had my pipes on for over a year and she just realized they aren't black anymore. Actually, she bumped into the stockers in the shop and I guess it hit her.
  22. Second that. Go to CarbParts.com Keihen parts list and find the part you need. Call them directly and tell them exactly what you need and they will ship it right to you immediately. I needed some new jets and had two days to get it before I left. They came in the very next morning perfectly. Great place to work with.
