  1. Woohoo! I'm a statistic. I refuse to become a statistic.
  2. agreed. my axle went right in, didn't have to bang on it or anything. no play in the bearings either. I would not recommend loctiting the races, cause that would be a bitch to deal with later and is not necessary. Like Led said, just make sure the axle nut is nice and tight and check it occasionally. Scott
  3. Damn, I didn't realize NY was that big. Guess I gotta get out more. Always a smart ass.
  4. Agreed. You'd be wasting that 110 anyway with 19cc domes. Go with the 17cc, your plenty set up for it and will be happier.
  5. Gotta love RockymountainATV.com. Not to mention their catalog... Not many places can you look at all that stuff, granted I may not want some of those products, but it's great to look at. Also, MagicRacing.com is also a good place to buy from, they are quick, and very reliable, and usually competitive with RMATV.
  6. Earliest memory I have of burning myself was my ATC110. I remember I was like 7 or 8 and I burt my leg on the right side engine cover. Not once did I ever forget how hot that little SOB got. Funny how things stick in your mind.
  7. I'm at 650' give or take a few here and there. I'm also running a 220 main. You might try a 48. I looked in my case, and I don't have anything under a 50, WTF, I thought I had a 48. I ran a 50 last summer and it worked good for me. I haven't found too many with a stock motor running over a 48. Good luck. Let me know if I can help.
  8. alright alright, another stupid one. Second word of the day. Whijadija. You didn't bring that nice truck whijadija?
  9. Word for the day. Mayonnaise. Mayonnaise a lot a purty women down at the burger joint. That's really stupid but just heard it.
  10. what's up with those red glasses? has anyone seen bush wearing old lady glasses like that? didn't look real close, think it was a head chop?
  11. Sweet, keep us posted. 340 is phat man, and if that works with the 5th clip, you should have a hard running machine. Let us know.
  12. honestly, i don't have a clue what your talking about, or do you mean "chop" to test the main jet? Basically, a full "wide-open-throttle run in 6th gear for 10 seconds or so, kill it and check the plugs test" will be the best way to check the main, period. Good luck.
  13. I didn't realize the PD Intake did that much, that's quite an increase based on the intake.
  14. I've got somethin that will shut her up.... and it's not a lollipop.
  15. It's probably malfunctioning, which they all will do in time.
  16. I never really thought this held a lot of trutch, some I figured but as I get to know Bush more, I think it has more validity. Think about it, Bush ran one of the largest American oil companies for years until he retired to "get into politics". He is an oil tycoon by trade. Now, we may have needed to go in and get Saddam, but you can not tell me that oil wasn't in the picture at all. That also the reason he's so lax on the environment, he cares more about the oil in the ground than preserving our land. I'm not a hippy green ass, I use the outdoors, camp, Jeep, ride and if we don't hold onto it, it ain't gonna be here much longer. Now, don't get me wrong, I have always been a Bush supporter, but just recently, I'm starting to feel differently. I could still go either way, BUT Bush has to start showing something, because where I live, the economy still sucks somewhat. My business is extremely busy, but my clients are mostly wealthy people where an economic downturn doesn't hurt too bad. I like taking money from those kind of people. Anyway, if he doesn't work on change, then he's outta here.
  17. Just thought I'd start a thread for some fun jokes. We need to lighten some people up. Let's hear what you got.
  18. EXACT Goddamned thing happened to mine last time I rode. No shit! Haven't been able to get it off yet. Let me know what you did if you got it off.
  19. Tell u what. I was all for Bush, voted for him and was/am totally behind the war efforts, I feel he did what he had to do, WMD or not. In the past few months, my doubts about his time in office are sprouting. He's killed some laws that were protecting natural lands and this whole Clear Channel free speach thing is really bugging me, with some of the things that have happened. The owner of Clear Channel and Bush used to work together or something like that and with the land preservation issues and some other things here and there I've heard, it's starting to sound to me like he's been running the government like a CEO would run a corporation, and not running it for the needs of the people, and in fact, as you all probably know, he used to run that huge oil company. That really irritates me. As much as did dislike Kerry, I'm beginning to believe that he will run the government not as much like a company, and no one can deny that he doesn't have a good service record in the military, which Bush's record is more or less a war dodge. I'm just getting sick of hearing all these different things regarding Bush. If you hear one, it's a rumor, if you hear more and more, then I believe there has got to be some sort of truth somewhere.
  20. Nice, that's really good info. My bud runs a pair of 36's with his stroker and swears the same thing, but I don't have any knowledge with the stroker setups.
  21. That's what I was trying to say if it didn't come out that way. My bike is still running what it did in the winter, and now that it's in the high 70's and low 80's, my pilot feels a little fat, and that's what I was trying to tell ... hahaha, I see where I f'ed up. I started thinking about my bike and got confused as to what I was telling him to do. I was typing and reading and it hit me. Thanks for the catch Banchetta.
  22. Funny, same here, it's always the left one. Those damn Fatties are the worst for burning your leg. Aaah, but it feels so good.
  23. If you are on the edge of being rich, the 15 to 20 degrees could make the difference. What pilot are you running and clip position, don't remember? I wouldn't worry, because it's bound to warm back up and if your just on the edge, then it's only gonna lean up a tad more as the summer comes on in. As easy as the single is to work on, you could go a size down on the pilot, but I wouldn't mess with the needle at all unless the sloppiness continues on up to 1/2 throttle or so. Like Banchetta said, the air screw might help that, depending on how "sloppy" it is. Added that on edit, I don't think the air screw on the keihens is as responsive as mikunis. I'm at a 52 pilot and 5th clip, but I noticed a little hesitation off idle myself, along with a little more difficult starting. I need to back the pilot off a size, might try two, but I won't touch the needle until I have to, that midrange is like crack.
  24. Krylon touch baby! I know a guy who goes with a different frame color each year. Each winter he does a complete tear down & inspects, cleans, fixes anything & everything on his banshee. Sandblasts the frame & starts with a new color each time he puts it back together. His shit always looks good, damn good. He's 100% duner with his shee. He says to use at least 2 good primer coats, then use 3 full cans of whatever color, coat after coat after coat after coat until the shit's gone. Then apply at least one full can of clear-coat, he uses 2. Damn that's a lot of work. I can't even get to my frame the first time, let alone every year. I wish I had the motivation to get mine purtied up, that damn grey yamaha is FUUUGGLY! Led, when you getting yours back?
