  1. Remember to keep your gearing in mind when choosing tire sizes.
  2. I'd worry about one thing at a time to eliminate making it overwhelming. Just concentrate on your main. When you get your main set, then worry about your needle and how it's set.
  3. Just pulled mine 5 minutes ago. Impacted the nut, slipped out the puller. 2 turns on the puller and it's in my lap.
  4. what kind of "dessert" do you ride, I like blondes!! Seriously, I have a barely used set of stock shocks I'll sell for $75 a piece. They are in immaculate condition as they were replaced not long after it was new. Later.
  5. uuuuhhhh..... Thanks but no thanks.
  6. It's been up for 7 hours now and no takers. Damn, surely one of yous is wanting to do some duning next weekend. Holla.
  7. I took my plastic guards off. Here look (selfish pic post ) Oh, they're DG nerfs.
  8. Without a doubt, that is not right. What a bunch of freaking lazy bastards. Sorry to hear your troubles. Scott
  9. Ok ok. Guess this post isn't going away, so I'll give my info. I'm a 3rd generation general contractor. Me and my family build custom homes, horse barns, riding arenas, metal buildings, fencing and so forth. We specialize in taking an empty piece of property, building the roads, fences, buildings (i.e. barns, arenas, shops, whatever) then building the customer a wonderful home on the property and basically just turn the key over to them when we're done. Our specialty in homes is rustic and ranchy, beams, high vaulted wood ceilings and rockwork. We do whatever they want, but they see our houses and want them built like that, rustic. Redish Construction.com Here's a quick pic of a million dollar house we built. I'd sure like to live in it. EDIT: Just to be clear, that's not my house, nor could I pay for it. Too many hobbies.
  10. same here. not saying your wrong, but could be a "freak" occurence if it's FMF's problem.
  11. I think your in the wrong forum for that, shouldn't that be standard issue for Bluetraxx??
  12. Don't know, but I like that look. Pretty slick. Might just try giving them a call.
  13. Does your bike flatten out on top or does it pull strong at full throttle? Your mods look about the same as mine with the exception of the compression. I would think I should have about the same jetting, but it pulls stronger with 175 main than it does with the 195. Ok, here's a different perspective to try to help you. Keep going bigger on the main, till it either fouls a plug or bogs out from richness. Forget about the power for right now or the flatness. If it's flat and keeps running smooth, no boggines, then go higher. Go as high as you can till it sputters out. If it's sputtering, pull the plug and look for oil. If oil is there, and it should be if you've gone up and it's sputtering, then back it off till it quits sputtering. You'll be pretty close then. Scott

  15. I've heard/read that it is very beneficial. From what I've gathered, it's a pretty good woods/trail mod.
  16. Whatsup all. My wife is going out of town next Thurdsay, May 13, to Monday. So, I've been jonesing for some sand up my shorts. This would be and ideal weekend for me. I'm going to find some local guys to go with and want you all to come also, whoever can. Let me know, and no is not an answer. Scott
  17. If you have an older reciever the cards should still work, I'm pretty sure.

I would think I should have about the same jetting, but it pulls stronger with 175 main than it does with the 195. You can't really look at it like that. One bike with the same mods as another can jet totally different. You may be just right at 175, I don't know, your plugs do. But just because your different than mine doesn't mean that's wrong. I'm actually unusually high for a similar modded bike. I'd say the average for a bike with similar mods would be 180 to 200. Mine pulls like crackhead fiending SOB in the mid all the way through the top. I mean f'ing hard. I love the 5th clip in the needle, it lets it pull so strong, though I'ma hafta back it off some here when the weather warms some.
  19. Is that after one 5-10 second WOT run? Did you warm the bike up with old plugs, then toss in that one strictly for the WOT check, then take it out? That's actually not my plug. I put in a new set before I warm the bike up, when it's cold. Then I go and warm the bike and then run her. Some warm with the old plugs then swap and run the WOT. I personally feel it's good to warm the plug up and color properly.
  20. I was looking into it. I was going to buy all the equip., only like 3 bills for everything. Shit, that's 3 months bills. You can buy an adapter so they can't zap your crap.
  21. Seriously, that'd be great. My wife answers the phone almost always. I think we need about 50 people to call throughout the day asking for adult services. Boy, she'd get pissed.
  22. well well well. Da' man get's da hookup. As stated, an hour was spent, then another half after I had dinner. We had turned off all the security we could in regards to the routers and winxp stuff, the firewalls on there. After all that. Find out there is one thing I forgot to tell him about, my stupid personal firewall software. There was no way to know I had this, hell I forgot. If I would have told him about my Internet Security to begin with, I'd have saved his time on the phone with me. He did know all the places to go and verify it was hooked up correctly. B370 did hook me up. Thanks a lot man for the time you spent helping me when you coulda been somewheres else. I've got the IPs on each of Norton's firewalls now and have already downloaded the Win XP updates from windows (damn satellite's quicker with the new modem) the printer is now shared and tested and she's all up and running. Thanks again, seriously for all the time you put in, and if I can ever do something for you, without a doubt don't hesitate. I'll try to figure out a way to pay you back in the meantime. Now back to disabling some services. just kidding. Damn, I need a smoke.
