  1. My Ford superduty 6.0 diesel will do the 1/4 in 13.8, well 13.88 to be exact. Don't know what the shee will do it in.
  2. I just pulled my old stocker out and installed my new 200 watter from RS this afternoon. I ground down the mounting tabs a tad and it went in like butta. On the right hand side of the flywheel opening, there is what I've heard the "halfway" mark that seems like a fairly level mark and is in the middle of a flat tab on the right side. I was gonna take a pic but i forgot my camera, i'll take one later. It was very easy to get out and to get the new one in. Boonman has my flywheel and that will finish up my little phase for the time being. I set it for +4 for now. Just wanted to comment on getting it in.
  3. As boonman once said, "4 or 5 C hairs", which would be half of what ledofthezep said, "the width of a dime".
  4. you damn skippy. I agree with Banchetta, not that that means much. That should get you very close. Let us know what you end up with. Scott
  5. MC1 is fine, just be sure to give it plenty. I'd run a 32:1 mixture throughout break in. If you use MC1 to break it it, then stick with it for a little while, don't switch during break in.
  6. Damn, sorry to hear that. Don't have one yet, but it would sure piss me off. Report it to eBay and see if they can remove it or do something. Good luck.
  7. Looks like a wiener, i'll take it. Nice, so why don't you go pick it back up? Hell, yours is in the shop right now anyway, you know you need the wheels right now, so you can meet me at LS and bust some sand.
  8. Maybe just link to the HUUUUGGGEE boost bottle post. Remember that one? That is a good idea, post in some reviews of common items and what's necessary to change or adjust with the particular items. Scott
  9. Doesn't that suck, nice resale. Good thing I'm never selling.
  10. If they're typical rubber boots, there should be a two clamps on each. On the intake/carb side, there should be one holding the rubber boot onto the intake and one holding the boot onto the carb. Same thing for the carb/airbox side, two there. If you can't see the screw that's on the clamp, it may be underneath or something, but it's there. It's a phillips head screw and I have a long screwdriver that i use to reach in there with. Later.
  11. Awwww damn. Well, we'll git 'er next time. Have fun at the gradiation. Axle, let me know man, we'll hook up.
  12. This sucks. I pay like $100 a month to run most of the channels through like 7 or 8 tvs. I looked into testing equipment and some other crap. I always get hosed.
  13. a big single 35 will scream at the top of your throttle too, maybe not quite as much as a pair of 33s, but look at how much more power you gain through the midrange. Just my openneeeeoooonnn.
  14. I'm sure that's the truth. It's more what your used to then what's better.
  15. Damn Fox, WTF?? Man, I'm sorry to hear that your lettin' her go. Good luck with it. Scott
  16. My shee has Fatties, and the Gnarlies are darn near identical. Scott
  17. I think it's kind of a PITA, but worth it for say riding, then dragging on the weekend. It's not too hard, just a little time consuming.
  18. What if you blasted a tank with the F16 and the f'ing Easter Egg blew up and got all over the place? You call that harmless?
  19. Question is, do you want to be able to run pump 92 octane, or not. With 175, you'd be way out of that ballpark, but with your 20cc head, you should be close, unless your at a high elevation.
  20. Here we go with the Kings again. Never ran them, I'm sure they're great. I, personally, am not real fond of the straight paddles. They hook up awesome, but turning and sliding, they hold hold hold and then whoooooommm, break loose and it feels like the whole quad gave out in the rear. My Sand Skate II Vs are totally awesome for most riding. They are totally predictable when turning, or carving in the sand and they are really stable in turns. They're a hair behind the straight paddles in the drags. I really had to get my throttle and clutch just right, or it was either coming up, or I dug real bad, where the straight paddles came out and went. If I got it right, I could hang pretty good, but it's still not the same in drags. If your not a big dragger, I'd consider some V paddles.
  21. I think the ski doo motors are more reliable and just a better overall motor. Also, I personally think the stock handling on the Ski Doo is better.
  22. Think they'll make a hybrid quad anytime soon that will work in the dunes?
