  1. Dude, I expect to hear, this afternoon, what happened after YOU CALLED THE POLICE! Seriously, call the police like right f'ing now and get them to go over there. Scott
  2. I'm not sure about canada, and I don't know if it can be shipped from overseas either. The dealers won't be able to sell it due to emission crap. I wouldn't see why you couldn't buy one overseas and have it shipped. Mainly, I've heard is like in Japan and over there is where they'll still be, but I am by no means that well informed, I just know that they'll no longer be imported and will be produced, most likely on a smaller scale.
  3. your not going to notice any difference in performance by going from 32:1 to 40:1. If your using 32:1 and aren't having any troubles, then just keep it that way. Lighten your flywheel if you want better throttle response. Less than one bill and helps out a lot in that dept. BTW, boonman will do it for you and get it back to you within a few days.
  4. throttle position. the main is a wot adjustment. the needle is responsible for the transition from the pilot to the main, and it controls this transition with the clip, the taper, and the diameter. Going up one on the clip will affect 1/4 to 1/2 throttle, where the main mostly (like 99.9%) affects WOT. If you have a problem with WOT, then you need to address it that way, not change the needle cause it's easier. Just something to think about. Figure out where in the throttle position, your problem is and go at it with that in mind.
  5. You can get new carbs if you want, but it's not necessary. It's really not necessary to get new carbs until you step up to stroking or big bore kits. It's been proven here with dyno sheets that the stock carbs can easily carry the motor from stock through some decent mods. What I would suggest is instead of replacing the carbs, get rid of the TORS tops (if haven't already) and get a Pro Design intake setup. They look pretty good and help pull some more power.
  6. Sure you don't have any slides sticking? This would cause it to try to start with the needle circuit and add a lot of available fuel and probably make it too rich to start. If it idled high like that, that could be a possibility. Pull your filter and check it.
  7. I wonder how much it advances the timing. I'm running a +4 plate, and was considering an ignition.
  8. Try this place. I don't know if they have alcohol or not, but they should be able to tell where you to get it. Davis Racing Fuels 4317 Clemson Garland, TX 75042 Phone: 972-205-0400 Contact: Scott Davis
  9. Just click where it says "Search" at the to right of the page.
  10. Just wondering what the deal is with this ignition and what difference there is when comparing it to the Dyna. And what's up with this chart, good for like .5 hp?
  11. The production will not stop on the Banshee. Yamaha USA will simply cease to import the banshee after December 31, 2005. So, we have over a year left to buy a new banshee. You will still be able to buy one overseas.
  12. Do you have all the adjustment and slack out of the lever?
  13. aha, thank you! I just noticed it in your sig, now why didn't I look there??
  14. Am I missing something, all I get @ Passionracing.com is: I don't know if that's the correct URL, if not, then can someone give me the link?
  15. Just wondering if you got it figured out why your using the large mains. Later.
  16. do you have to use the choke for a cold start? I'm thinking this could be a needle issue. this bogging will occur at full throttle, 1/2 throttle, or when?
  17. Your gonna be lean with the 260 and clamp ons. Try a 310 and see how the plugs look.
  18. I'd say you'll be close with 320. I don't imagine you'll be much higher than that, but in same rarer cases, it is possible. Read the plugs, they don't lie.
  19. Don't know nuttin 'bout dat Powerjet.
  20. So what all did you end up with?
  21. chocolate or vanilla? i personally like the banana with nilla wafers.
  22. there are some dunes in southern Louisiana, or go further and get to Little Sahara, OK.
  23. boon, we have loads of trucks around here. I'm in horse-capital of the world, literally. Nothing but Fords and Dodges of all kinds, almost all with diesels. Friggin HD trucks outnumber everything else 4 to 1. Great place to buy a used truck. Hey, I got it. Fly down, we'll swap the R&P in my axles, find you a truck, and you drive home when your done. Whaddyathink? Seriously, I'll look around some and see if I find anything. Scott
