  1. could be, an easy way to check is to pull one from another bike that you know works and then that will rule in or out. shit fro, didn't even notice that was you. cdi or stator could be suspect. can't remember, but in the manual it tells you what voltage or resistance to look for at the stator to rule that in or out also.
  2. yeah, the top and side stay stationary. that's one reason I really like frames. One of my favorite places to shop is similar to how I set up mine, and that's one reason I like to shop there so much, easy to get around without clicking back all the time. I'll check that SSI shit out. i've seen you use "idk" a bunch and have never know WTF you were talking about, but never said anything. But I just figured it out, that drove me nuts not know what the hell it meant, but I finally got it. {Sigh of relief} just saw this on the w3schools site (which i'm sure you've all seen): Download the internet here.
  3. ex - fucking - xactly flaming, bickering and arguing belong over at Bluehagg. If there is something important to say or something you feel is your opinion then by all means say it, but if it's just flagarant bickering and name calling, get that shit outta here.
  4. this has been said a lot but, boring does virtually nothing to gain power. Pipes, porting and eventually stroking are the three serious ways to gain power. I really don't know much about the powerup kit, but i'd say get a good set of pipes that fit your riding style, if you don't have any already. Then get some portwork done, and then finally stroke that bad boy. Of course, in between these big steps, you can throw on a Coolhead/Noss head in between for compression, and some reeds, and a timing plate, and an ignition, and a lightened flywheel, and a Toomey 2:1 air intake, and a boost bottle... need i go on?
  5. welcome to banshees. i always hear of the left side being leaner than the right side, or the right side being richer than the left side. what a PITA, that's partly why I like my single carb. Most likely, it has to do with the choke circuit. Is the crossover tube, no wait, emulsion tube in there tight, say on the left side?
  6. would probably be ok, but sounds like a whole lotta work and labor intensive with a good bit of trial and error, but if your set on trying go for it and send pics.
  7. aaah aaaaaahhhh aaaaaaaahhhhhhhbullshit.
  8. Yeah, i'm still working on getting more suppliers, especially in the Jeep area. I'm all about XJ's, so I'll see what I can do. And the flash thing, a little over my head. Maybe someone can get freaky around here with their flash.
  9. Just looking back, only thing that's weird is the word "trucks" with a pic of a Jeep, may need to change that around or something, maybe change the word trucks. Maybe some opinions on that as well.
  10. I got finished with the frames on the site last night. I don't have any of the links going yet, but i'm almost finished. So, hopefully I can get everything over to the server where it should be soon and be up and operating. I just put this up to see how the frames came out. More or less, this is the feel of how it'll navigate and the title. Let me know what you think of the header, is it goofy or does it look alright? Redish Performance test page. Later fellas.
  11. anodizing will enlarge the given tolerances. for instance, the noss head, it starts smaller than the finished product, with a given amount for the expansion of the anodizing. if you took your motor and anodized it, the components wouldn't fit back together because everything will have expanded with the anodizing. how much to leave for the enlarging, i'm not sure. does this make sense, it's hard for me to explain because i'm not much of a pro with this. someone else will come along and explain this better.
  12. I'm still trying to figure out why any guy would want to poke a hole through a perfectly good piece of skin or part of your body. Now, on the girlies, it is very very sexy, especially when it's in inconspicuous places...
  13. isn't is such a waste for all those cc's...
  14. Not really... because hell would freeze solid before you could actually make a profit from selling Amsoil yourself. It costs too much to buy it retail and so the only way to make anything on it is to get other people to become dealers. It's like a pyramid scheme but legal {I guess}. So far I've been a dealer for almost a year. I got my first commision check {pretty much from my own purchases}. Total payout... Under $3. Got it pinned to the wall next to my old concert ticket stubs and other worthless scraps of paper. Well, it's something to work on then... Nah, I hear what your saying.
  15. kind of an apples to oranges comparison. the raptor feels and handles quite a bit different. some say the suspension is a little better. it's got some power, but with a few simple mods, the shee will hand it it's lunch in a good drag, it might get the immediate launch, then it's bye bye. They can be built to be a runner also, but more of a duner or desert than much else.
  16. what are you trying to do to us poor folk?? they sound like outstanding pipes and I sure hope to place the long awaited order with you as well Minkia. Good review, nice and simple and to the point.
  17. The Wiseco Pro Lites are nice. A lot here like Vitos also.
  18. i like the GBC Shock-and-awe paddles a little better.
  19. You might try going up one more size on the main. What color was the base ring and ground strap, you'll be wanting those two to be a dark chocolate color.
  20. Really, the only way to tell that is to try it and see if it wants to sputter in the mid-throttle. I'd just leave it and see how it runs, and then if it's wanting to sputter or die out a little, then go ahead and back it off. But you already have them where they're at, so just leave 'em. Later.
  21. dammit, another one with the Passion stroker. And to top it off with a set of Rockets... You da man. I will say I'm just a tad jealous. and for banchetta, i guess he don't like us anymore, because I haven't seen him since before the changeover, maybe I saw him once. I'm not one to give jetting advice on ported strokers, I'd say 420 Racing's got you covered on that one. later.
  22. Call carbparts.com and have them send you two spare slide springs and then experiment by taking one coil off then another and then another and see if you can get it to loosen some by testing it. If you f*ck it up, you got the spares my man. Later.
  23. If everyone becomes a dealer, doesn't that defeat the purpose of being a dealer???
  24. Well, I've rounded a few suppliers up. Some I've arranged directly to and some of the others are bundled together through a warehouse. Now, if I can just get this site put together, been working on it just need a little more time.
