Wal-mart is $150. Ebay has been around $110 used and $125 new, plus $20 shipping. I haven't yet found a good deal on Ebay, but I'm looking and I'm sure there's one there. My brother said some of the gaming stores are having some deals, and I might check a few out today. I'm ready to be kicking some people's ass on Crimson Skies.

Sorry to hear about that man. Some times, when it's leaned out some, it will seem to actually run better than ever, but it's always too good to be true. I can tell when mine leans out because it will just feel different, in some situations, it will run really good and rev awesome, but one thing with a "good running" lean machine, it will be a little short on power, and it can be misleading, that's why plug readings are so very important.

yeah, my iridiums are $7 to $8 depending on where you go, and they do have a little more snap, but the color reading, to me anyways, is a little more unpredictable due to the SupaSpark. I've been having some "issues" with my jetting, not too bad, but I think I'm gonna be running some ES's for a little while, to get back to basics, if you know what I mean. Later.

me too. what's up Blue? Ain't seen ya in awhile.

Well, we don't know how your bike is setup, but generally with pipes and such, either the third or fourth clip. Best thing to do, is to try those two and maybe even richer and just see what feels best when riding, you'll know if it's in the "wrong" position.

word on all that!

I'm not too familiar with how the DG's jet compared to others. I'd say you might end up between a 280 and a 300 on the main. If your leaving the air box lid on, then it will be a little less. So, lid on, start with a 280; lid off, start with a 300 and hopefully that will be a little on the rich side allowing you to work down. I'd try the needle in the third clip, but it may end up being better in the fourth in the winter, you'll just have to try, and I'd stick with the stock pilot for now. Also, I'd get rid of that "stock replacement filter" and get a Pro Design Pro Flow with a Uni or K&N, whichever is to your liking. If not, you'll be leaving yourself succeptible to sucking in dirt around the shitty stock filter setup. The above jetting should work with that filter setup. Later, and let us know where you end up.

Why would u say hotter plugs? The BR8ES's are actually good plugs, there are guys draggin 110+hp shees with BR8ES's. I run BR8EIX's honestly, but I think I'm gonna go back to the BR8ES's because they're much more predictable in my opinion. The V's, for those that don't know, are a gold tipped electrode. If your gonna go that route, you might as well get the Iridium's if your after a better spark. The quality level goes gold - platinum - iridium. Also, if you look at that second pic and see where the color change takes place on the ground strap, you'll see that the color changes right in the middle of the bend. That is a spot-on perfect position and tells me that heat range fits it perfectly. I'm not sure whether the first plug is lean or didn't color very well, and to verify, I'd have him run the WOT test and then see what the color looks like.

aaah, c'mon. it's never too hot to ride. thats FO SHO! Just get up early. It hits 98 in the afternoon, but if your up at 7 here then it's in the 80's and won't get really hot till 1 or maybe 2.

Durablue Eliminator 2 +2 installation
sredish replied to 2004LEBanshee's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I heard a lot of bad things about the durablues, but I got a deal I couldn't refuse on a new one. I actually really like mine. I've bashed it in 3rd gear against some pretty hefty tree trunks, landed some nice doubles and triples and it's beat me around, but never once damaged that axle, yet I should say. -
Nah, it's all good. I'll be experimenting with some Mac stuff anyway and hopefully I'll find something new and refreshing. From what I've heard about the Mac and it's drawing/graphical abilities, it shouldn't be too hard. I got my mouse yesterday. Yes, just the mouse. I think the PBG4 will be here Monday. It's becoming urgent not having a computer for three of four days now. I'm on the home PC, but it's not in the office and I don't have too much loaded on it so can't work too much. The one in the office is loaded up somewhat, but it's my wifes and she's on it most all the time, so I gots nowhere to go.

No freaking XBoxes in this place?

Banshee Trivia... What pipes are these?
sredish replied to Shee_Man's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
I think you guys are right, I think they are, in fact, DG's. I looked at them again later and it hit me. The DG's have that squared look at the head pipe. -
Best time to look at your plugs is after a wot run to 5th or 6th gear, like your dragging, but just kill the motor with the throttle still pinned, pull the clutch and stop. Doing it this way will give you a true main jet reading and could look completely different, no matter how "hard" you were riding, just coasting to a stop really quick could alter the color a lot.

go back and beat their asses just for the hell of it. teach 'em to never do that shit again.

don't get a yamaha piece of plastic shit. get a pro design aluminum impeller off of ebay and make sure it never melts/breaks. also, use engine ice not watter wetter. watter wetter is good for 5 or 10 degrees straight, mixed it ain't shit, and engine ice is used straight and is good for 50 degrees. Opinions on extended warranties on new vehicles
sredish replied to dalegoldston's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Damn Dale, I thought my Ford woulda sold you that way. Oh well. I'm a fan of extended warranties because it doesn't take too much to pay for itself. But, I don't buy them on my trucks because the diesel comes with a 100k warranty, and the motor is the only part I worry about. Anything else, and I got it covered. Hell, I'd rather work on the suspension than the dealer anyway, warranty or not. So, did ya get it or we just shopping right now? BTW - are we riding again this weekend? -
Heinz 57 sums it up.

Brooke, I do it for both, for the construction detail of some of our projects and for the visualization for the customers. It gets tedious as shit, but it's cool to see some of the finished projects. We have architects we work with but sometimes they're a little on the steep end for some of our customers when I can put something together and bill them for half and it goes into my pocket. Blue Deuce, thanks for your input with the VirtualPC, to Brooke's dismay, I will probably have to test that out for my Visio setup.

she won't be overlooked, I promise you that fellas! Great support here.

Banshee Trivia... What pipes are these?
sredish replied to Shee_Man's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
No, are they old school FMFs? -
I would like to buy an XBox system. If any of you have one, let me know, and I'll take it off your hands. I have a PS2, but my bro has an XBox and I'd like to do some ass beating. Later.

shitloads of 2D floorplans, horse barns, houses and such, some pretty plain, and some detailed as you know what. I also do 2D elevations and some 3D elevations, interior and exterior. Most of my drawing has to do with construction.

most definitely the first place to look. if it's there, it will be between the carb and the cylinders. if it's on the airbox side of the carb, then the air will still be going through the carb and your jetting take care of it. like fro said, use some wd-40. i've been known to use anything from the little propane soldering gas, to carb cleaner, to ether. whatever you can find should work. and it will either speed up quite a bit or stall out. if the air leak is making you pretty lean then it will stall out. you can try spraying it onto the filter to get an idea of what kind of reaction your motor will have to it so you know what to expect.
