  1. ugliest thing i've seen. NYUK, is that your new one?
  2. Yep, those Helos are very very nice. Jen, I talked to "happy" yesterday about some wheels, cause i know he can get some good prices out of dallas and he's checking for me. For instance, he can get the eagles on the first page for 30 or 40 less than i can. I'll have to see what he comes up with since I kind of obligated myself, but if that don't work out, then i'll be scouring the web again for some of that shiz. A little out of my price range at the moment, but well worth it i imagine. Later.
  3. Hell yeah evil. Thanks for making my decision more difficult. that site is nice to look around on, superbuytires, they have a lot of freaking wheels
  4. Really... Led, can you tell I'm a cheap mofo. I get nice big bright eyes until we start talkin money then my ass puckers up and i come back down to earth.
  5. I think I read it in benbb's banshee faq jetting sheat. yep, in fact Ranger's link is Ben's site. Definitely warm up the plugs quite a bit before checking for color. If they're not up to temp, they will color incorrectly or not color at all.
  6. yeah demon, 16x8. I was goin for A here a few minutes ago, but now I'm afraid of having to clean behind that simulock. I might just go with, and it's about another $60 or $80 in savings. That's real simple and clean without too many places for mud and shit to get stuck in. We'll see, no one knows till i write the check.
  7. The difference in cost between A and D (which are my two faves) is $120. I really like the look of D. Very nice, but I'm not sure how hard they'll be to get. My tires are going to be more than I should spend, so I'm thinking the $120 savings might help that out. I don't know, it's either A or D. Later.
  8. yep. i never change plugs for a plug check. in fact, once i'm pretty sure she's where she needs to be, i don't chop my plugs. i just look at the base ring and ground strap. say i go out riding and it's a little cool, or something's changed a little and I just want to check. I'll be riding for a few, 15 maybe 30 minutes. Then I'll cut out to somewhere I can hammer it down and then just do it. In 6th, I'll kill it, check the strap and base ring and I'll know exactly how it's running. Really no need to chop the plugs all the time, unless you just added some big mods and want to dial her in on the money. If your pretty sure she's good and just want to verify, the strap and base ring will tell you. Later and good luck.
  9. You need to use plugs that have been warmed up some. That plug had zero time to warm up properly and color properly. It's not an accurate reading by any means. I recommend riding for at least 15 minutes or so before you run a plug check, and I personally never use new plugs. I use old nasty plugs because they've been through some heat cycles and should color more properly.
  10. Let me know what you guys thing, i'm kinda shootin at D right now. A. B. C. D.
  11. 280 sounds like a good place to start then. make sure you check your plugs. you may try your needle in the 4th clip down if it's not there now. i ran 27.5 pilots in my stock carbs, if your using 25s, you may just wait to see how they work for you first.
  12. there you go. more than my little brain put together at that moment.
  13. Speaking of pilots, what size are you running? Low end = pilot or needle maybe, but not main jet.
  14. I thought that was the powerband screw, like that one is yellow, which goes with the yellow powerband. I have the green powerband and am using a blue screw, I thought it would be worth a few ponies anyway.
  15. The rear is only worth 5 or 7 watts. Just make sure the fronts have 35W bulbs and your good, if it's 50W, then it will be dim as all hell.
  16. sounds good, are you keeping the lid on?
  17. you'll want the inframes for normal riding. They both work really well but the outframes aren't a good choice for any normal riding.
  18. Thanks for askin Jag. I've been up and riding for a month or so now. I'm all healed up good now. As far as the DGs, whatever works, anything is better than stock and if you got a deal on them, run the shit out of them, as I'm sure they'll work fine for ya.

  20. I agree with that. It is biased as all hell and the new fish on the block is always bigger and better. I am, however, a subscriber and have been forever. I also subscribe to ATV Action, ATV Sport and all the other ones. If I don't, I'll just buy them at WalMart for three times as much. Oh, you can't forget: Four Wheel & Off Road Four Wheeler JP (Jeep Magazine) Four Wheel & Sport Utility Mag (or something like that) that's about the best one.
  21. don't know how the dg's are, but the PC's have a decent bit of midrange, from what I gather, i don't really know too much about them either, just from what I've heard. The PC's are a mid to top pipe, but come on a little higher than say FMF Fatties.
  22. Some will say the 2-1 is not a good carb setup for the dunes, but I will say the extra midrange brought in by that carb is a very welcome addition in the dunes, helps the power come in early and stay in. i'm a big fan of this carb due to the powerful mid and the ease of jetting and lack of issues.
  23. yeah, we took a long stretch limo down lombardi st. once, it was fucking tight. good shit though, people looking like we were nuts.
