  3. i'd think around 280 or 290 on the main jet. try sticking with the stock pilot and see how shee runs, and the needle either in the third or fourth clip from the top, you'll just have to try one and then the other to see what shee likes better.

  5. GPS is the way to go. The Trail Tech I'm sure would be nice, but the fact you can take the GPS with you when you go is nice.

  10. it's where i go. i was gonna hit the track on a sat. once, and realized i needed some mains that i didn't have (when i first got my pwk) and called them and they had it to me the very next day which was fri. and that would've never happened with rocky mtn. i like rocky mtn, but you can't call and speak directly with them like you can with carbparts.
  11. I've been thinking about that idea myself. Use a "shear pin" of sorts. Shouldn't be hard to do, maybe round out the inside of a hub so it will free wheel, but attach (was thinking weld, but the stock cast won't work) it to... say... the spacer found on durablue's extended axles with a hole for a pin and drill the axle to allow the pin. Get to the riding spot, then slide the pin in and your good to go. Should work.

  13. My wheels came in yesterday and my tires came in today. I went t pick them up and they had realized that the rims were the wrong model and 6 on 5.5". So, they're overnighting the correct wheels today and I should have them on tomorrow. My lift doesn't seem as much as it should have been. It was supposed to be 3.5" to 4" and it doesn't seem like it's a full 3.5 to me, my friends think so, but my last truck was 4.5, maybe 5 inches of lift so I just wanted more. I'll probalby end up throwing Edge's 2" mini pack in the front also for another couple of inches. Later.

  15. PC's would work good. Not familiar with the Trinities at all, only somewhat with the PC's but they should power good through your terrain.

You can mod your stock plate to allow +4 degrees of advance for no money at all. just slot the hole to the left so you can rotate the stock plate clockwise. 1mm = 1 degree, so you'd want to make the slot long enough to allow your plate to turn 4mm. Easy enough, as far as the flywheel, great mod, i've got and i like it. pm boonman and he'll give you a very sweet deal. later.

  19. Legally, in the states, I believe that anything with 3 wheels or less is considered a motorcycle, hence the site's approach to street legalizing the quad.   20. On my screen, the left one is beating his head faster than the right one. Your main jets should be between 280 and 300, needle in the 3rd/middle clip and either a 27.5 or 25 pilot, don't really know, I'd try it with the 25 to see how shee runs and then switch if need be. Later.
  21. i will also vouch for boonman on milling heads and lightening flywheels. he's a stand-up guy, well unless he's been drinking and then needs to lie down, and gets things back to you very quickly, like the day after he receives them. Later.
  22. A 13 toother is way to small for my blood in the trails. I say a 15 is minimum. I know a lot say that the 13 will "give you more torque", which is kinda BS. It won't, it will make your gears closer and somewhat lower, but you'll find in the trails, you'll be shifting like mad. I'm running a 15/41 (22" rear) right now and I can blast tight trails in 2nd and 3rd easy and keep on everyone's ass, if I'm not in front, while they're shifting back and forth, and then hit wide open and be gone in an instant. You just have to try the sprockets and see how you like them. I guarantee if you ride a 13 tooth and then a 15 tooth, you'll keep the 15 tooth, plus the 15 tooth won't spin your tires as much.
  23. milling your head increases cylinder compression which increases performace all over the board, it's a fairly cheap mod. Also, you can mod your timing plate to advance it 4 degrees which will also help power all over the board. A high flow K&N will help, but I wouldn't put any money into air filters unless you get a ProDesign Pro Flow plate, the stocker can potentially suck dirt. There's really not too much more for super cheap power. You could get a set of pipes off of ebay pretty cheap and that will give you way way more power than the above mods combined honestly. The only time rejetting is really necessary is when you change something that will affect the air/fuel ratio. Milling head won't need it, timing may or may not, and a high flow filter will need it.
