  1. slow down, but what fun is that??
  2. Very often, when the bike is in a fairly lean condition it can seem as it's running as good as it's ever ran, except it'll be a little short on power, but unless you really run it hard, you might not notice too much and just keep running it, then BOOOM!
  3. glad your ok, wonder if my old house across the street made it. hmmm. i went through hugo and andrew in that house. Later man.
  4. she rides, from what i gather, not as much anymore due to college.
  5. Yes, it is very well worth it. Also dlnoss (owner of Noss and Noss heads) gives discounts to BHQ members and it's the same thing, but comes in sweet colors.
  6. Ohhhh great..... the man is gonna think he has to put a padlock on his cabinets now. Im not THAT bad Hell...... I'm only a killer 135lbs soaking wet. hehe Well, that's fine, I got plenty of grain and alfalfa, may even have a stall open. Haha.
  7. Disconnect the tweets on the rear 6.9's and/or fade them forward a tad to take some of the rear presence out, they should only be fill unless it's a 5.1 track.
  8. I'd grab my board and head out to Clearwater. I've been through Andrew, Hugo and several other big ones just fine, I imagine the only people this will affect is the ones right on the ocean and the ones in trailers. Good luck to all of you and I hope you fair well. Scott
  9. Damn, maybe I do hang out here too much.
  10. All you guys are going to hell.
  11. I just use Redish. But my Linksys gear has a "preset" network internally that I can't get rid of and I just bought a print server and couldn't freakin connect to it, because it was preloaded to attach itself to the "Linksys" network, and I couldn't get into it to change networks. Only way I could figure this out was because every time I reset it, a printout would come that showed all the shit and the SSID and I saw that. I reset it like a million times and all of a sudden, it connected to my network then I went in and got everything setup. I STILL can't freaking print to it with my Mac. I'm going f'ing bonkers trying to figure it out. I'm no longer sharing the printer on my windows pc, i've got it seperated to a seperate server. I have the HP drivers and shit loaded, in fact, everytime I startup, it asks me to locate the printer for it, and I can't find it there. I can go through Printer Setup and find the printer and add it, but it won't print. The process shows it trying then either erroring or just plain stopping, then I'll restart and it stops again.
  12. Glad you found it out Led. Hope to see you on the dunes, although it'd be a f'ing miracle seeing as my ass will still be in TX. Later, hope it works out.
  13. Same here. I used to feel guilty sitting in the same office as my wife and roaming the hq while she was busy working... but I don't anymore.
  14. Thanks, I've been getting lots of compliments on my little bud.
  15. Well, it could be stator, cdi, could be the coil pickup on the stator. Thing to do is get a Banshee service manual and it'll give you a step by step procedure for troubleshooting. Don't have one here with me to get you started, but the voltages and resistance need to be within certain parameters. Later.
  16. Fox has asked a good question, where does the bog clear up? Might try leaning the pilot like he suggested. Also, try the clip in the 3rd position. If it's in the 3rd, try leaning it one and then maybe try richening it one, especially after leaning the pilot. Later.
  17. Well, the site a long long long time ago was a message board with the old school outline style board. I wasn't one of the "so-called" originals, I've been around awhile, but it goes back quite a ways, and when it switched from message boards to forums the people who were on the original board, their start date was erased and set to the date they were attached to the forum, so they lost some time on their date. As with any growth, in comes people who don't want to contribute and just screw around, there seems to be more of that here lately, but it's still pretty informative. I have noticed, probably in the last 6 months, a lot of the old-timers are logging on more infrequently and that might be party why, due to a lot of young punks just screwin around. But when it goes down, you see how many people go nuts, so they're are a lot of die hards.
  18. Depends on which FMFs your talking about. FMF Fatties are a good low, awesome mid and decent top.The FMF SST's are an all around pipe with great mid and top end power. The Toomeys are more of a top end pipe, good for fast trails and the dunes. They are all very good pipes but you need to match the pipe with your riding style to be happy with whichever you go with. Oh, and welcome to the BHQ.
  19. Yeah, like on one hand. That's fine, they're just making ours more valuable for when they realize what they've done.
  20. Damn, that's flyin on a watercraft. I've been low 70s and it felt like a hundred on the shee. That'd be a fun ass ride.
  21. Yep, I'll be doing the same with my Fatties when the time comes.
  22. probably cause your letting out the throttle to a "constant speed" and your jetting in that throttle area is a little off. has the weather changed recently? like colder or hotter? colder would lean it out some and and hotter would richen it some. i'm betting that you might need to adjust the clip on your needle. is it flat bogging or is it sputtering at all?
  23. sredish

    LS, Ok.

Didn't you just get that SOB fixed up?
