  1. Sounds like you may have to lean the needle clip position.. Is the bike running before and after the mid range break up?
  2. Is that issue similar to this? My CR500 slowly rotates the rear tire when idling on the stand. I was told that is vibration through the clutch causing the slight rotation... Just my guess.. Are your rear tires spinning while this is happening OP?
  3. A "built" suspension will definitely give you the edge over a bike with the same exact engine mods but with a stock suspension.
  4. Address all your suspension first! Shocks, a-arms, Swingarm and axle and tires!
  5. Yes bro! Gonna be at my yard in east meadow all day Saturday cutting and bending rebar!
  6. I went with a +4 JL swingarm (he built one for my TRX 250R and it's amazing). I also bit the bullet and bought a JJ&A play axle.
  7. Sleeper06's work is meticulous, he's done a lot of work for me and helped me out answering a lot of questions! If you are on the east coast especially NY, do not contact anyone else but Sleeper!
  8. I agree, 927 @ 32:1 straight VP 110 in all my 2 strokes (my banshee, TRX big bore and CR500)... Always ran terrific and never had any issues..
  9. Here are the specs on their shocks for the banshee.. I am looking at the Race Series GS-3 Fronts.. http://www.racetech.com/ProductSearch/3/Yamaha/YFZ350%20Banshee/1987-2007
  10. Hey Guys, in my never ending saga of trying to select the proper front shocks for my banshee, I wanted your feedback on Racetech. First and foremost I do hear very good things about them as a company but I cannot seem to find many members on here who are running Racetech that could offer their feedback... I have a best buddy who owns a custom cycle shop and he has a dealer account with Racetech and can save me in the vicinity of 15-20%, maybe a little more off retail!!! So, what are your opinions on the Racetechs? Whos running them, who likes them, who has neutral or negative feedback? Please discuss... http://www.racetech.com/page/id/134
  11. Very very sexy! Nice tight waist you keep yourself in fantastic shape!
  12. The needles are marked perhaps when you have the carbs apart pull the needle and post back the letters off the needle the tuning gurus will be able to tell you which needle you should be running...
  13. JDS is on point excellent to deal with strongly recommend you deal with him directly!
  14. Deezil please keep in mind your going to have to jet accordingly when eliminating the airbox and run the pods directly off the carbs!
  15. Deezil, run the pods directly off your carbs! I run my bikes in the same type of wet, woods terrain and snow. Just be cognizant that your not running your bike through 4' of water. Wet weather riding like in the rain and mud does not effect my pods, nor did a 2 hour ride in 25" of snow back in January!
  16. Congrats looks clean I like the blue plastics!
  17. Someone shit in your pasta on the TRX forum?
  18. He'll make your stock cylinders eat lighting and crap thunder!!!!
  19. Sounds and looks like a really stout setup! Are you sure you want to go +6 on the swinger? That's a little long for the trails-I only speak from experience as 90% of all my riding is in the trails.. You want some maneuverability, maybe compromise and go +2 or +4.. Some guys will tell you stay stock length or even shortened swinger..
  20. ^^^^ very good point! There is a video floating around of a 13 year old kid on a banshee, and he's smooth on the throttle shifting through gears, you control the ride what it is! Like a 7 sec street car. Yes it will go 7.50 @ 190mph, but you can also drive it light to light and turn and stop.. Weird analogy but that's what I thought of. Hey my very first bike I learned to ride on was my 1986 TRX 250R! At 13 years old I learned everything on my TRX, clutch control, shifting, leaning, turning, uphill positioning, downhill wheelies, donuts.. It's what you make of it!
  21. If she's willing to ride, hell any bike!!!! I wish my wife would ride with me, in her fucking Loubutians!!
  22. Thanks sheerider, what shocks are you running on the fronts with the Fireball a arms?
  23. How much for the Fireball arms (ball park)? I called around and cannot get a price what do they want for their a arms?
