  1. Maybe my set was an exception? They look awesome! Dunno!??!
  2. Sleeper06 installed my Shearers and he made them fit primo! And as for the chrome or what ever fucking plating is on them they are pristine! I bought them used from Possum..
  3. I thought "true" Shearer pipes were nickel plated not chrome plated- am I wrong?
  4. Sleeper ported OEM jugs and custom cut my domes for straight 110 race gas and tuned it aggressively and advanced the timing per my request. He did tell me I've got to watch my compression even thought I have forged pistons and run straight 110 the crank becomes the weak point. So Sleeper set me up aggressive but not dangerous. When I'm ready to pull the trigger on my new 7mil I will make sure the new crank is welded for sure! So far my banshee is the fastest it's ever been since I owned it thanks to Sleeper so whatever advice or recommendations he gives me I listen..
  5. Your a good man Carl that's really cool of you! If Gusto parts it out and sells me the suspension my banshee is coming to you anyway for the install!
  6. Carl do you have a sketch or blueprint of what you need? Do you know Pak's Machine in Hicksville, he's an old timer that's got skills beyond skills lemme know what you need I deal with him! I can get you whatever you need!!!
  7. OEM TRX 250R shocks are 16-1/4" eye to eye...
  8. Best of luck to you Gusto!!! Take care of yourself and your family, you can always get back into the quad game after you address your health!!! If you decide to part it please consider me for the Fireball suspension and Elkas. My thoughts & prayers are with you for a successful leg procedure! Email me if you want to sell me those parts I mentioned.. Thank you- Mike ammarca@optonline.net
  9. Here's my axle back from LSR after a moderate bend and being rusted to shit... They did an excellent job..
  10. My brother rolled my 250R coming up hard on a peak of a sand pit, when he got to the top it dropped off sharply to the other side into broken chopped up asphalt so he jumped off the bike. Destroyed both rear rims and put a bend in the LSR axcaliber axle. Shipped it to them they straightened it out and I opted to to have it rechromed while it was there. Got it back like new. As mentioned above it all depends how bad it's bent. http://www.team-rpm.com/media/pdf/axle_test_results.pdf
  11. Shhhhhhh, what's that noise tick tick tick tick tick tick tick tick....
  12. Bingo, I run them in my turbo Camaro!!!! Diamond Pistons ceramic top coat!
  13. Do you need after market cylinders to run a 10 mil?
  14. Agreed above, dune port, while in there why not go 7mil and swing for the fences!!!!!
  15. $4k can build you a damn stout motor! Make sure you deal with a reputable builder and build it right the first time!
  16. I'm having a difficult time understanding what you guys are trying to ask????
  17. What is with hearing stories of the V Force pedals breaking??? The CR 500 V Force set up is a nightmare, never mind pedals cracking like crazy, fitment and leaks is horrific!! You have to read some do the stories on the CR forums! I put the Boyesen Rad Valve on my 500, and that setup is the gospel!!!
  18. They replaced the broken pedal I hope!???
  19. None at all, I upgraded from 12 year chipped old VF2's, my VF4's are brand new maybe 1 hour on them and not 1 issue at all.. Why do ask??
  20. You hit the nail on the head Carl! There is nothing special about Chucks work. As I've mentioned in the past, he's good to fix things, suspension, clean and hone a cylinder and put fresh rings in. But he's not masterful like you guys, FAST, Resline are at building banshees! You saw first hand his port on my oem jugs, my 5 year old daughter could have done better. One thing I always noticed is whenever I asked him about jetting, he ALWAYS SAID "your jetting is perfect, leave it alone don't touch it, just ride it and have fun"! He also told me he doesn't like adding timing, "adding timing blows up motors" that's what he told me! I dealt with him for years, he fixed a lot of stuff for me but never built me a purposely built motor. My Honda has always been ESR and I'm just opening the banshee now... Water under the bridge..
